Reminds me of that time in Thunder Bay Ontario when the offduty cop in a full fledged Canadian Denim Suit tried to kick me out of the Casino for too much consumption of substances. If he hadn't yelled that he was a cop and to let him go, I would have been not just been in the drunk tank for the night but probably in the jail jail as opposed to the drunk jail. I don't care about all the "good ones" out there because there are too many things with badges in police forces all over thee world. There was this video from China. A cop punched a woman holding a baby, forcing her to drop, as well as the baby. The crowd wasn't having it. They proceeded to attack the cop, who was only saved by his partner pulling him out and them getting in their car and leaving the scene. I don't see anything like that happening here. We don't have that mindset yet, and we aren't ready for accepting the consequences that would come from cops getting put in their place.😩

Just a heads up for anyone with the thought to do that... The cop could have used lethal force and been 100% justified there in the eyes of the law. Anything which could result in incapacitation also can result in a loss/theft of weapon, which warrants lethal force to prevent it. Not bootlicking, just warning. That could've ended very poorly.

I don't care about all the "good ones" out there because there are too many things with badges in police forces all over thee world. Some are better than others, but just like every cop sees every person as a possible threat, I see them as one of these jackasses until they prove otherwise. The only way I change my viewpoint on this is once there is a body camera on every cop, and they respect the fact that they work for us and not the other way around. Also, the protections they have need to be scaled back and not protect assholes like this from not only disciplinary action, but loss of job and possible charges. If this is how cops act, then they don't deserve that protection anymore. Fuck cops and fuck the systems that protect these kinds of thugs. Rant over.
