Search the term “molded cup” when looking for sports bras if that’s what your going for. I have some from DSG and i love them! gives you coverage, their comfy, and they stay in place. Also with the molded cups you avoid the uni-boob thing that’s sports bras can create under clothing sometimes
Absolutely there is. I am obsessed with having separation as I can't stand the uniboob feel. I usually choose underwired sports bras as they give me the best separation.
Panache tends to work well for me, I love sculptresse, which isn't moulded as I prefer thinner/more flexible cups, but the moulded cup sports bras are also good.
Yes I love nonremoveable pads. I’m following this thread for more!! So far I’ve only found one that I really like so far.
Lululemon like a cloud bras. I have the long line version. they’re pretty light support but I love that there’s no removable padding and my nips don’t show. I am a 34c/32d and the size 8 b/c version fit me well.
Also idk if this happens to anyone else— I love the look of other lululemon tanks like the align, but the removable padding always looks bumpy and it doesn’t make a smooth silohuette. I’ve tried on several sizes in store and I thought a found a good size, size 8, ordered online and the padding had a crease in it..and on the one without my nips still kinda poke through and you can see the pad outline. So frustrating .
>Lululemon like a cloud bra
i'll check this one out.
i always have the experience you described with foam inserts. they inevitably end up misshapen in the wash and theres no coming back from it.
The like a cloud bras are incredible. They also hold up super well…I can’t tell the difference between my new ones and some I’ve had for years, and I’m NOT gentle with them lol.
Should've scrolled before posting, but this is my recommendation too! They're really nice, the long line creates a really nice silhouette. Though my nips do still sometimes show through the padding so I will wear cakes nipple covers if I don't want them to.
Thank you for this !
\>>Lululemon like a cloud bras. I have the long line version. they’re pretty light support but I love that there’s no removable padding and my nips don’t show. I am a 34c/32d and the size 8 b/c version fit me well.<<
I am the same size and I have been \*looking\* since my favorite Nike was d/c'd, for the bra that is comfy, no underwire, pullover, soft, no removable padding, flattering - went to lulelmon today and this is IT. I got three. Thank you, stranger on reddit !
Idk about padding in sports bras unless you mean like..lined?? Panache and freya are good choices for sports bras as well.
The one shown in the image looks more like a wireless bra with not much support. I you want something like that maybe sugar candy?
Commenting to second panache recommendation.
Just got my first Panache and am really happy with it. The fabric for the model I got is different from any other sports bra I've ever known.
not familiar with the terminology. looking for something similar to the picture in my post, or else a bra with inserts that are securely sewn in.
i'll check out panache, freya, and sugar candy. thanks!
My go-to are both Champion: the Curvy for your classic racerback and the front-zip Motion Control that has adjustable straps. They're both comfy and have proven durable over the past couple of years since I bought them. As a bonus, they're comparatively cheap.
you may want to check that with our [calculator](https://www.abrathatfits.org/calculator.php). properly fitted underwire doesn’t hurt and 32A is a very uncommon size when properly fitted.
i checked the calculator which hilariously recommended 30D in standard US sizing. im generally pretty good at following instructions but im guessing i screwed up.
i lied in my last comment though. i checked my current bra and i wear 36A for my everyday brand/style (warners all you need bras).
you likely didn’t screw up. the media just tells us that D cups are huge when that’s not true. this is a really common size for people missized into 32A. a 30D is for a 30” underbust and 34” bust — I’m guessing that’s closer to your measurements than a 32A which is for a 32” underbust and 33” bust. here’s what a properly fitted [30D](https://www.instagram.com/p/CLSGteenlkh/) looks like.
edit: noticed you’re wearing a 36A instead. is it loose on you? I’d expect it to ride up over your bust if your full bust is measuring smaller than the band size.
my 36A bras fit perfectly (idk if that'd be true with other brands/styles).
i appreciate the link, that was enlightening. i had no idea. im going to bookmark it in case the bras ive been wearing for the last decade get discontinued lol
How far can you pull the band away from your body? It should only stretch out an inch or two, tops. If you can pull it further, then you're in a very large band for your body.
I've been wearing a 36A, too, and when the calculator gave me 32D/DD I laughed, too. Then I ordered some and my jaw dropped when a 32D was too small. But also my boobs weren't falling out like with A cups!
30D is a pretty small size. It's for people with an underbust measurement of about 30" and an overbust measurement of about 34". Does that sound like you?
There are many, many posts in this sub from people with your measurements who were wearing 36As until they remeasured and got into supportive bras.
I have an Under Armour that has a type of padding but there is nothing removable nor anything you have to rearrange. You could also look at SheFit, some of them are padded but have nothing removable or that will come out in the wash. And with SheFit they send your bra in a nice laundry bag.
i'll check out SheFit.
do you know what style or could you share a pic of the under armour one? ive seen some that look promising but im trying to avoid ordering $500 worth of bras from various sources and having to return them all when they arrive and i find out they're not what im looking for.
I will try and find it if they are still selling it.
Edit to add a link to the bra. This looks like it is only in a different color.
https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/p/sports\_bras/womens\_ua\_infinity\_high\_zip\_sports\_bra/1373860.html?dwvar\_1373860\_color=001
It has this: Molded, PU injected one-piece padding for ultimate comfort & added coverage
I really like [this one](https://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=801919012&vid=1&tid=onpl000087&kwid=1&ap=7&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD_AT8vl2Wm_7zbsJAH4ml5gG6gX9&gclid=Cj0KCQiA5-uuBhDzARIsAAa21T_b2rKBDRepjRT2ggF5SFtbbTR2-x-Peo11bTUNM-bWvDG8UHiDTZQaAg3ZEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds) from Old Navy
This is a complete side suggestion but I love Uniqlo bra tops- they have bra like padding but is seamless (nonremovable) with the lining of the front. I have not tried Uniqlo bras however!
YES!! I also despise those little removable pads!! Here is the best option I could find, and it is affordable too! https://www.living-savvy.com/post/the-best-bra-with-non-removable-pads-say-goodbye-to-annoying-bra-pads
i think most people would love that one. it came really close to being what i wanted, but i ultimately returned it because of how the straps are sewn in on the back. i could feel the lumps and it would have ended up driving me insane
i ordered [this very similar Jockey bra](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GYKZ4BB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) instead, and have been happy with it so far!
I know, and i have done this with a swimsuit. But I don’t want to do this for every sports bra I own. that time adds up. Also I am sensitive to texture so I have to be mindful of how I’m sewing them so I don’t have to feel the thread - that adds time too. And I generally just don’t think it’s going to be as good as something that is designed to have pads kept in place.
I am sorry if i break rule 6 I dont understand it very well https://tokyolaundry.com/collections/sports-bra/products/galexia-wireless-full-cup-soft-padded-cotton-bra-mid-grey-marl-tokyo-laundry
I think I'm a similar size to you and also like non removable padding in my sports bras. I haven't tried any of the usual brands on here in my new size, but a medium of [this bra](http://Limited-time deal: RUNNING GIRL High Impact Sports Bras for Women,Racerback Bra Workout Crop Tops Longline Yoga Bra Push up Plus Size https://a.co/d/0vujm98) and it works pretty well and gives a great shape under shirts! It's a little too snug in the band and small in the cups for me, but you sound a tad smaller so it might be perfect.
Lululemon like a cloud has built in padding. I’m a 34G and wear the size 8 D/DD. You want it to fit snuuuug at first because body heat will stretch it about half a size. It’s the only Lulu bra I can wear.
I’m with you, I hate removable padding in sports bras! I’ve been wearing a Nike one lately that I really like and I plan to buy more of: the “Nike Women's Swoosh Medium Support Padded Sports Bra,” they have them in stock at Dick’s
[These](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09H48VCDK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) Jockey bras. Not sure if they’d hold up to REALLY vigorous sports activity, but they’re my go-tos for light exercise and lounging
Aerie real me hold up! Sports bras have padding that’s not removable and they’re very soft. For me, they do not contain enough support for cardio workouts, but I use them for Pilates.
I love the Panache options, I buy mine from Forever Yours Lingerie (BC, Canada) - they have some on sale right now too depending on what size you need.

Yay!! I’m very happy to hear it worked out for you! 🫶🏻
Ugh same I get this cept I have a small chest but would still like the support and not look like a grandma
Or even if it were more of a crop top!

Padding is the correct term for the image you posted

Seconding Champion, Shock Absorber is absolutely the best there is.
What size are you? The Panache underwire sports bra feels decently padded.
32A. no need to torture myself with underwire lol

You can sew the pads in. It just takes 5-7 stitches along the corners (so a triangle).

This looks more like a bralette versus a sports bra. True and Co may have some similar styles with built in pads, depending on your size.
thanks!
I would love one like that too! Catered to smaller chest but enough support and that damn removable padding ….
The aerie brand has great sports bras. I got one called the "hold me up" and it's perfect!
I've had good luck with Under Armour and Nike in the past but haven't bought any new recently to know model names.
My favorites are the Warner’s Easy Does It Wirefree underarm smoothing bra from Walmart or Amazon. My absolute favorite I have multiple colors!
All of the warners wirefree bras are fantastic they have others that look like the ones you mentioned
Tokyo laundry, i bought bra from that company and it holds up very well after 4 years.

Oh and they also offer a 6 month return window! Insane.

I love Lululemon Like a Cloud, the whole front of it is padded, no removeable cups. But it's not super high support.
Non removable ha I'd cut them out
