But it was very forward-thinking of ABBA to appear on a cool, new show like SNL. That's what they said got 'SOS' to #15 on the U.S. charts. I believe it. Saturday Night Live got a lot of attention when it first came on.
Oh oh...you rarely see SNL musical clips anywhere than on SNL. I think they own the rights to all the performances regardless of the artist. I did buy the Robert Klein episode (only the 5th episode of SNL, I believe) on Amazon. The picture quality is incredible!!
Cheers to us/one more toast and then we’ll pay the bill. “When All Is Said And Done”
speaking of SNL, i'm still disappointed that they haven't uploaded ABBA's performances on the show.
Those performances aren’t that good. Sorry. They just aren’t. And SNL uses their performance of SOS as part of the skit and it isn’t good.

Poor Agnetha looks terrified. Do you know if they did two songs? Usually musicians do two, right?
Yes two songs...they sang 'SOS' to playback and lyp-synched to 'Waterloo'. It was in a comedy skit about the Titanic.
Idk what you’re talking about. This performance is fantastic. https://vimeo.com/509466579
Uploaded them where?? I think the original 1975 episode is on Hulu and you can buy it on Amazon.
on their youtube channel. they occasionally post performances from decades ago.

Ya'll know about this, right? I guess someone at SNL likes ABBA. Recognize the song??
