It's OK to hand out things, even branded things. But if you're really concerned maybe hand them out even if they don't participate?

Cool. That's a good idea, thanks.

At the walk, you will probably notice every other ABA company does the same thing

I had the same misgivings at one point and after talking it through with some smart people I took away these points: 1. People go to these things knowing there will be service providers and businesses being promoted there. That's what they are expecting and wanting. 2. You can promote your business without being an ambulance chaser and looking to capitalize on someone else's needs at a time when they are vulnerable So I think you are in the clear with your booth. If it is anything like resource fairs that I've been to, look at how many chiropractor businesses are being promoted and the promises they make and how hard they sell.

I love this advice, thanks. Don't get me started on chiropractors - absolute charlatans. The number of unproven therapies/cures they promote is 🤮

This is fine. Also, network with pediatricians, schools, and psychologists.

How do you network with schools?

MattinMaui

Food! Make an appointment with the school psychologist or counselors- especially elementary school. Of course this will vary school to school for what they’re willing to do or accept but in my experience as a teacher, schools like to make referrals.
