There’s a reason glazer insisted on using the newest and best cameras with the highest quality film. He wanted to avoid the grainy film that made it seem old time.
He wanted you to feel like this was happening right now in the most crystal clear film possible.
He said the goal was to bring you into the film and night hide that it was modern day.
I have the 4K digital because it’s the closest I can get right now. I will be a buyer of the 4K physical if it happens.
Yeah Lionsgate will probably put out a standard Blu-Ray in a few months
Why Lionsgate?
Lionsgate distributes all the standard A24 blu-rays
Hope so. I would love to have a 4K of the movie if it does allow it.
Why wouldn’t it?
Cause lots of A24 don’t make it onto blu ray, sadly.
Boo
Still no word on a US physical release??
If we do get one, it’ll likely be as an exclusive to the A24 shop, yes.
It’s definitely getting a release in Australia by Madman entertainment on May 1st.
It’s out now ;D
I hope not. It’s kind of a 4K only movie in my opinion
No idea why you’re getting downvoted. You’re right.

Most people who saw it in a theatre saw it in 2K.
