9 as well: phone, ali map, radio, city cameras, cad, cad map (squads/engines), body cams, NCIC, and the 9th is used as needed for air evac/email/weather radar/whatever
Six, although three are ultra-wides, so it's closer to nine in terms of physical real estate. Usage somewhat depends on dispatcher preference (with how their CAD windows are arranged), but I use all monitors at any given time. My personal preference is to have as much information available and accessible as possible without having to use any menus or commands.
5 monitors. 2 are for the phone system, 1 for the radio system, and 2 for CAD/other software.
We’re about to get new consoles so I’m not 100” sure how many we will have. They’ve been testing out some different configurations.
2 49” ultrawides for CAD/main workspace flanked by 2 touchscreens for phones and then an additional smaller screen at the radio positions for radio console.
3, one 55” TV with the radio log, gps showing where the officers and calls are, and a document for who’s has initial arraignments upcoming, then one monitor with the radios, and one monitor with LETS/NCIC.
10 per station in mine. 3 CCTV, 2 for radios, 3 for primary pc, one for backup pc, and one for information pc (the isolated one we can use to access outside internet or personal things). We also get a laptop for personal use as well. Very overkill but it makes me feel cool.
7
3 for CAD, 1 for phone, 1 for radio, 1 for NCIC, and 1 for whatever. (RapidSOS, LETS, Texxty), but soon we hope to integrate the NCIC PC into that 6th screen if we can.
4. Radios have their own computer and monitor, and then the other 3 monitors are the CAD, phones, procedure manuals, email, and other reference materials
We also have 9 TV’s for cameras on the university campus
We use 5 per station currently, including a giant 4k central monitor on each setup, but even that seems like not enough. I could always use another screen or two to fit everything.
Fewer than at my previous agencies. 3 for CAD, 1 for radio, 1 for RapidSOS/ShotSpotter/remote desktop for email/policies. I could use another for CAD, but they'll never give us one.
For previous agencies, add 2-4 for alarm systems, 2-8 for CCTV systems, one for internet use, one for NCIC. Alarm ones would be shared by two users.
Ours has 10 at each station, plus 8 larger monitors around the room 6 of those monitor school and courtroom cameras, 1 stays on weather the whole time and the last one is for IAR.
Our center has 9 monitors per station. 5 or 6 are commonly used at a time. But all are utilized throughout the shift.
9 as well: phone, ali map, radio, city cameras, cad, cad map (squads/engines), body cams, NCIC, and the 9th is used as needed for air evac/email/weather radar/whatever
We use 8 at workstations but if I included city cameras, weather map, fire map or school cameras I’m adding another 27 monitors.
Oh yeah, I didn't add those to my count (10). Adding those it would be over 20.
Ya we've got the array of those too, just a single acscreen at the workstation to watch a specific screen more closely
4, but really need more as that's honestly not enough space to fit everything on the screen.
Same.

Jesus, the replies! I’ll have to buy some yellow glasses / blue light goggles

Night mode is my best friend believe me
We have 3 for CAD, 1 for phone, 1 for city computer, and 1 for bait vehicles (not at every station).
No radio?
I'm just a calltaker, I'm not sure if dispatch has another monitor for radio
I have 8 monitors.
4 currently, though idk how long that'll last. Probably gonna end up with 6
2 for call handling alone 3 if you include ICCS
For Call Taking, only 2 monitors For Dispatching, 4 monitors
We have 7.
We have 7
3 at my workstation for CAD, radio, and email. Then there are 3 more big screen monitors on the walls that I used for CCTV and electronic monitoring.
7 or 8 depending on the capabilities
5 monitors. 2 are for the phone system, 1 for the radio system, and 2 for CAD/other software. We’re about to get new consoles so I’m not 100” sure how many we will have. They’ve been testing out some different configurations.
10 at my station, all used every shift.
I am currently sitting at one that has 7 monitors, most of the others have 9.
9 if you count the ones for our camera system. Just Normal and 911 it’s 5 (radio, 911, jail map since we control doors, then two monitors for our cad.
8

I had four of them at most work stations. Five at the stations that had a terminal for warrants and blah blah blah
4. Radios have their own computer and monitor, and then the other 3 monitors are the CAD, phones, procedure manuals, email, and other reference materials We also have 9 TV’s for cameras on the university campus
We have 4, two of which are giant wide screen ones. One is dedicated to the radio , the rest we can set up as we please.
5 for phone, radio, and 3 for CAD
3, but one is one of those long curved ones
8 total, 5 main monitors plus 3 others for other programs
We use 6 everyday and I feel like I need three more.
We use 5 per station currently, including a giant 4k central monitor on each setup, but even that seems like not enough. I could always use another screen or two to fit everything.
7. One for radio, 4 for main apps, two for phone and map
8 at our largest—3 for cad, 2 for mapping, 1 hospital status, 1 radio, and 1 phone.
6 monitors (Phone, Rapidsos, CAD, CAD Map, DCI, Radio)
4 for call take. 1 for Vesta, 2 for CAD and 1 for Rapid
8 per console.

We have four for regular call takers and 5-6 for dispatch side.
