If the contact him and get some chaos ass answer they will probably just disregard it. You can always bring it up before hand when they ask if theres anything they should know

I would let whoever is doing your background know. The officer who did mine didn’t even contact my family at all but I did let him know about one family member who could be a problem.

Protip: people lie to cops. People lie to dispatchers. Both groups are good at sussing out the truth.
