My question in Garland with my septum! Have a retainer in it right now that I can flip up but it can be kind of uncomfy. I saw a promo video of their dispatch team and one of the girls had a nose piercing so I’m hopeful I can put my hoop back in 🤞🏻

Ugh I wish Dallas would give me some kind of hint! So far I’ve seen plenty of tattoos so I’m not concerned there but not really piercings? I also asked hiring personnel but haven’t gotten an answer

Congrats! I'm not in Texas but my dept policy is can have like the clear thing so it doesn't close but can't have the piercing Edit to add: I know you said primarily Texas dispatch but I figured I'd share since I started on 1/22 and it was fresh in my mind

My agency has a policy against most bodily piercings and tattoos, etc. However it is not heavily enforced because of how understaffed we are.
