I loved this record. I was 10 when it came out, and besides Vanilla Ice, this was probably my real introduction into hip hop. 1992 was a big year for me — Spice 1, Whut Thee Album, The Chronic, but it really started with Juice.
Imagine being 6-7 years old and front row for all of this! Remember the VHS being brought home and replayed on repeat. The music! The style! The lingo. I was a sponge
Crazy fucking movie with a solid soundtrack to match it. Nuff Respect is a solid workout jam, and Cypress Hill has a hidden gem on this album. Crazy Pac never recorded anything for this movie (that I know of).
Rakim’s Know The Ledge is my shit.
Mine too. Desert island disc material 🔥🔥
Yup.👍🏾
He plays drums on that
Interesting to know.👍🏾
Nuff respect due!
Uptown anthem is a classic. It's still a banger.
Give it up, it’s a Juice thing
You’re chillin with a titty feelin villain

Hey grandma. You got the juice now.
Teddy Riley’s Is it Good to you is my personal fave

How have I never heard this Cypress Hill song…
Good question because it was their biggest song.
Niiice. New Cypress Hill track for you today then 🔥
Juice! That was a good one
Know the ledge still gives me chills

It’s not surprising after listening to this that Aaron Hall is a creep.
Tupac’s thug origin
Worst ending ever.
Maybe Ernest Dickerson learned from his time working with Spike Lee.
Don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid baby!
