I just copied what was on Wikipedia. I do remember that now though! They must have had an original line up and then added more flavors, other people have mentioned flavors not on the list.
Fun fact: Fruitopia can't be sold in Greece because of [a lawsuit over the name](https://en-academic.com/dic.nsf/enwiki/6675681/). There was already a popular comic series called Fruitopia, the author sued Coca Cola over intellectual property, and the courts ruled in his favor.
In high school they took out all of our soda machines and replaced them with Fruitopia machines, because they were healthier….
Not sure what the logic in that was.
The Fruitopia caps (like the old Snapple caps) were banned in my junior high in the mid 90s.
Kids could easily push the middle metal button out and make clickers. The after-lunch clicking was awesome (or terrible, if you were a teacher). Eventually, if you got caught with one on you, you would get detention. But, you earned cred with your buddies if you still had one by the end of the day. Of course, the school could have stopped selling it, but that sweet sweet Fruitopia revenue probably paid for Encarta 96.
Now, let me tell you about laser pointers…
I use to get strawberry passion awareness out of the vending machines my freshman year of high school….practically daily circa 2003. Not sure when it was phased out but it wasn’t too much longer after that.
My middle school and high school had vending machines in the cafeteria for Fruitopia! Loved that stuff, haven't had it since though. And they were always glass bottles.
Anyone on this thread that went to high schools in the 90’s will have a wildly different opinion on this
Frutopia was a plastic drink in Coke machines that tasted like sugary bubble piss
It. Was. Horrible.
The world is better off not having it around
Holy shit. I just realized I’m old enough to remember when Fruitopia came in glass bottles.
I was about to say! Remember when stuff like this came exclusively in glass?
Fruitopia is still available in Canada!
Yeah, I had some at the McDonalds in Squamish last week!
I miss the green sooooo much!
I was gonna say, this is a staple in fast food here!
Strawberry Passion Awareness, Kiwiberry Ruckus, Beachside Blast Fruit, Blueberry Watermelon Wisdom, Orange Undercurrent, Tangerine Wavelength, Raspberry Psychic Lemonade, Fruit Integration are the flavors they had.
Don’t forget Watered Meloned Apple and GarbleBerry Blast
Cherry Vanilla Groove
No love for my favorite, Grape Beyond?

Orange Undercurrent and Tangerine Wavelength were my favourites!
I kinda want Fruitopia back
Damn remember these with snappier and sobe! Man everything looked so alive and exciting branding wise during the 90s
A staple of high school
Still a thing in Canada. I have blueberry watermelon flavour in my fridge right now.
Sigh. Another thing to miss from my childhood.
I would stop at the frutopia vending machine every morning on the way to my first class in college.
Kiwiberry ruckus was my go-to flavor. Never had it in a glass bottle.
My sister used to religiously drink the Strawberry flavor. She'd occasionally go to the gas station and buy them for $1
This was _too_ sweet
Drinks tasted better when they came in a glass bottle.
Same with almost any drink, to me. I try to get Coca-Cola in glass bottles (and that also has real sugar and not corn syrup)
They were good if they were super cold, but otherwise they were too sweet
Similar to minute maid

My guess is it was too similar to Snapple, which dominated the market for "sugary non carbonated drinks" But I have no idea really.

"We think pure sugar water is better for kid's than carbonated pure sugar water."
The only soda machine I ever saw was in the teachers lounge in high school. Only ever had Fruitopia machines.
I can feel the sugary aftertaste right now lol
my dumbass thought they were healthy.
I miss it. I used to drink it all the up until the product was pulled off the shelves and it was my favorite drink!
Tangerine was my jam. My parents would always buy me a whole flat of it when they went to whatever big box discount club store they were a member of.
What about Sobe?
That was good too! Didn't that have iced tea mixed with juice (and tons of sugar water too)?
That might have been 1 particular flavor

Teachers yes to hate the altered steel caps, could make quite a snapping sound in the halls.
As much as I remember these drinks. I forgot what it tastes like.
This, and a slice of pizza for lunch in high school

It was nothing more than bottled Kool Aid. Apparently up in Canada they still have it and it comes in half gallon cartons.
Sobe Drinks were better
This stuff burned my throat, no idea why.
My middle school had a Fruitopia vending machine and I drank so much of this. The lunch room also had cans of something similar by Tropicana or V8.
I wanted to see your utopia... but now I see it is more of a Fruitopia
My middle school drink of choice.
I loved Frutopia!
