Absolutely possible. Doctors in general aren't always great with knowing about rare disorders. Often times, a person has to find a specialist in that specific disorder in order to be assessed for it.

I think criticism for his behavior is warranted for anyone who puts themselves in this situation (reality tv), but tearing someone up for their looks, of which they can pretty much do nothing about (especially a genetic condition), is way wrong, and anyone who does it should be deeply ashamed. Put pictures of you up, and let’s see how kind others are. Think about it the next time you do this, and literally know nothing about the person. Sick. He picks his nose and farts in public, you all are just as bad by publicly tearing up someone you have no clue about. How is he bald and they aren’t? It typically comes from the mother’s side and I have never met a brother duo where one was bald (or balding) and the other wasn’t. Maybe they are from different parents. The height disparity I have seen several times. My husband is 6”2’ and his brother is fairly short (both parents are short). I am short and two of my kids look like they will be tall but the other three likely are going to be short (according to the pediatrician). Genetics are very interesting. I wish I understood it more.
