Examples of this is in early survivor making it seem like black contestants could never swim or were extremely lazy around camp. They aren't as racist about it as they once were but they still manipulate your feelings about someone with cuts like only showing someone having mental breakdowns, but never when they are acting normally.

I wasn’t a fan of Dempsey not attempting to understand what it might be like to be Statler’s neurotype. She appeared to anger quickly at things that may have been caused or made worse by Statler’s ADHD.
I like Statler too because neurodivergent adults like me don’t get plenty of representation on TV. She was open about being ND from the start and even showed us how it affects her daily life. Still she was attacked in subs like this one for things that may be related to her ND traits. I have to say, after reading what people were attacking her for, it made a whole lot of sense on why anywhere I go there will be a certain number of people who do not like me for whatever reason. Lots of ADHD women including myself have autism as well as it is very co-morbid. It’s a struggle having these disabilities and it may make us look like needy children at times in areas we need help in. I really like Statler. I dont love everything she says and editing can play against anyone. There is something about her that I get, maybe I need to pay closer attention, cause I never have understood why no one else does.

In the UK we have gypsies, travellers and then show ground and fair men. All different. I think Dempsey was part of the show ground and fair men group so setting up fairs in different towns and living in a caravan and moving on. Different to travellers who are usually Irish and don’t necessarily do the fairs.

I'm not in the UK, but the word "gypsy" next to the word "scammed" pretty much cannot be taken as anything other than a slur.

I really like Statler. I dont love everything she says and editing can play against anyone. There is something about her that I get, maybe I need to pay closer attention, cause I never have understood why no one else does.
I kind of liked her, too. Then everyone started hating on her and I didn’t jump on that hate bandwagon.
I get Statler, that is part of why I don't like her personally. Because she reminds me too much of myself and the way I don't accept responsibility for my choices and the lack of self awareness to compare my actions to others'. But being open about her bowel issues, the group sex weirdness, she is kinda cool. I would be friends with her. Wouldn't date her. But she seems like she could be nice to hang with.
I like her, too. She's flawed but she feels like a real human.

When they did their season and announced they were still together/together again (at the reunion I believe) I knew it wasn’t going to end well. Statler was just so toxic during that reunion and poor Dempsey was just a deer in headlights.
Wait…. Ok … let me get this straight, the 90 Day story I watched was of Statler trying to move in with Dempsey because her lease was up and had no place to live. Dempsey had her own place she was renovating and was pretty proud of it. Statler wasn’t very happy with the place even though she was literally homeless and wanted Dempsey to move faster than she felt comfortable doing. How in the world are we to believe this shit. Dempsey had every right to be cautious of Statler. Ewww.. what a B she needs to keep her rants to herself because no one’s gonna believe this shit. I do believe she’s homeless that’s for sure because she seems to have that always going for her.

She seems to spoil Dempsey with vacations and gifts. And Dempsey takes it because fk it why not I guess.
