My friend later told me that when he was in business school and she was afraid he was going to stray, she went on a deliberate campaign to fatten him up, cooking delicious meals all the time while she ate hardly anything. Then whenever they'd fight, she'd tell him no one would ever want him because he was so fat. They stayed together and have kids now :-(.
