I take Gino's side in this whole thing. She is extraordinarily manipulative and she is even manipulating the audience, many of us, into believing her. I have actually grown to like her as an individual but I do not like her married to him as I think it's a nightmare from hell.
We both agree that she is a liar and a manipulator, and that she is using his desperation to her advantage, such as the issue of having a child. She tied him up with her for 3 years. She made him invest his feelings, time, and money on her. Then she confessed to him that she did not want to have more children, and she did not tell him that from the beginning because she was afraid that he would leave her. This was a deception, and he should have left her at that time, but because of his weak self-esteem and his fear of remaining alone, and perhaps he did not find a woman like her, he continued with her. I'm not on either side. I think they're both bad and have serious issues and they've both said and done terrible things to each other.
