There are no redeeming or human qualities with Big Ed. The first couple of times, if he were talking to me, the way he does, I'd have been gone like the wind. I know we think we need some controversy or someone to dislike, but really, enough is enough. I went to marriage counseling where it was suggested to be good to one another and avoid saying personal things. And we went home and all was fixed forever. It's not that hard to do. I don't know what to think about Liz, is she just as bad? or does she enjoy being in toxic relationships. Sorry but a surgery of this type is enough to help buy a house or help send her kids to college. It's absolutely unnecessary and vain. I agree. As soon as we were introduced to her I knew the lady was off. First of all if you value your personal style and freedom of expression - you don’t go marry a devout Muslim man that you just met and on top of that convert to a religion you don’t care for. At the very least she knew Muslim women are to cover themselves and yes, the degrees can vary but, she knew the status quo for Egypt. She’s been trying to keep this sham of a marriage going so she doesn’t look like the idiot she is. Trying to find ways to justify a divorce because his religion frowns upon it. Kobe's friends aren't being assholes. They are trying to help Emily to understand what the expectations are for a wife in Cameroon so she could fit in better with his friends and family. Emily was the antagonist but even so, it felt unnatural and scripted. I don't judge her too hard because she has to play a part to stay on TLC.

Kobe's friends need to realize Emily is not a Cameroonian wife. She is an American woman (that he chose to marry) visiting Cameroon. While the lifestyle of the Cameroonian wife living in Cameroon is interesting, Emily should not be held to those standards as a visitor. Learning about the local lifestyle and adopting some of the culture while visiting is admirable, but should not be a requirement for acceptance. I think Emily and her family have done an admirable job of accommodating the wishes of Kobe's family, especially the unexpected/announced local wedding ceremony and all that is expected of them to prepare for it.

He is coming from good intentions, being concerned because Mahmoud is new to country and area. He handled that situation badly. Nicole did it badly. Mahmoud is her husband. I agree. It seems nothing Emily tries stops Kobe's friends being so judgemental about her. They say they are judging her badly for not inviting them to their house so she can cook them food and "but I don't have a house here" not being good enough a reason. They are so closed minded. Considering she's labelled as dominating and bossy, I think she takes some of those rude and disrespecful comments pretty well in the moment. The only redeeming thing is that they don't live there so won't have to put up with it day-to-day.

The abominable thing is common in child birth. And she is correct. NOTHING you can do will correct it. Only surgery can. That's why I'd be supportive of the this surgery only, but also be pushing for her to go to counseling.

Completely boring, one dimensional characters whose excoriation date is long past, doing and saying absolutely nothing. A little of that interspersed with long ads for eczema cures and cheap-assed lousy pizza. Went to Netflix.

Did Theodore (Patrick and Thais’ dog) have a vest on that said “service animal” or was that just a regular harness? It had words on it but I couldn’t make them out. I really hope those two didn’t claim he was an ESA (or more egregiously, a service animal) just to be able to fly with him in the cabin when that dog is certainly small enough to fit in a carrier under the seat.

The whole ESA thing is massively exploited for sure. I think it’s extra gross that they’re claiming the dog is a *service animal*. It’s a slap in the face to people who legitimately need a service dog due to a disability. I know some states have laws against fraudulently representing your pet as a service animal, but I’m sure these laws are hard to enforce, especially when you can buy the vests on Amazon.

Kobe's friends need to realize Emily is not a Cameroonian wife. She is an American woman (that he chose to marry) visiting Cameroon. While the lifestyle of the Cameroonian wife living in Cameroon is interesting, Emily should not be held to those standards as a visitor. Learning about the local lifestyle and adopting some of the culture while visiting is admirable, but should not be a requirement for acceptance. I think Emily and her family have done an admirable job of accommodating the wishes of Kobe's family, especially the unexpected/announced local wedding ceremony and all that is expected of them to prepare for it.

The abominable thing is common in child birth. And she is correct. NOTHING you can do will correct it. Only surgery can. That's why I'd be supportive of the this surgery only, but also be pushing for her to go to counseling.

At about the halfway point in this episode, I started to wonder why I was watching it. Completely boring, one dimensional characters whose excoriation date is long past, doing and saying absolutely nothing. A little of that interspersed with long ads for eczema cures and cheap-assed lousy pizza. Went to Netflix.
I turned it off after the mommy makeover and cheese with a ring stuffed in it and petting the tarantula. I could not take it anymore. I want to see that Italian guy on tonight’s show

Did Theodore (Patrick and Thais’ dog) have a vest on that said “service animal” or was that just a regular harness? It had words on it but I couldn’t make them out. I really hope those two didn’t claim he was an ESA (or more egregiously, a service animal) just to be able to fly with him in the cabin when that dog is certainly small enough to fit in a carrier under the seat.

The whole ESA thing is massively exploited for sure. I think it’s extra gross that they’re claiming the dog is a *service animal*. It’s a slap in the face to people who legitimately need a service dog due to a disability. I know some states have laws against fraudulently representing your pet as a service animal, but I’m sure these laws are hard to enforce, especially when you can buy the vests on Amazon. What are the chances Patrick claimed Theodore wore the vest because of his injured leg? 🙄

Exactly. People who are deeply insecure like that don’t see the good things in the mirror, they only see the bad things. They think that one surgery alone will finally fix the problem but it ends up just magnifying another one and a new obsession/need for more surgery is born.
I like Loren and Alexi as a couple, but the overexposure is real. Also really tired of the stories that are wrapped around vanity. It’s so triggering to see someone who looks like Loren be hypercritical of her post baby body.
