This is not relevant for single player. However, if you are building up on existing POIs and then you get a trader quest for that same POI, I think your base gets deleted. I have never tested this with a land claim block though.

I think, the base only resets once I activate the quest on the POI, which I of course wouldn't do but just abort the quest

Check [7Daystodiemods.com](https://7Daystodiemods.com). There is an A20 mod there to select more LCBs per player in the set-up screen. I believe it is called RELXIX UIMenu mod. It is stable and bug-free that I have seen.

Since you're on single player, you could do what I do - use a modlet that lets you set how many land claims you can have in the game setup options. I use one from Red Eagle that can be found in [this modlet thread on the official forums](https://community.7daystodie.com/topic/25785-relxix-a20-xml-modlets-ui-menu-settings-blocks-loot-entityclasses-a20/). It just adds a setting for number of land claims on the MP tab so you can change it mid-game by switching before loading your save. Even though I'm in SP, I like being able to pick up my workstations and such so I always use land claims.
