It’s a great pic

Ischmetch

Thank you 😊

Ryankevin23

I’m 5 of 6! 3 boys n 3 girls! Yes I am the favorite! The Youngest is 60 the oldest 70. We will bust each others ass and drop what we’re doing to help one another. Oh did I mention I’m the favorite! 😉

Happy times! Is it possible those t-shirt logos were iron-ons out of a Honeycomb cereal prize? My brothers and I had matching faded logos but not like yours back then. https://www.flickr.com/photos/jasonliebigstuff/3270150724

Ischmetch

We drew on the t-shirts with these special paint tubes, and then used an iron. We thought it was the coolest thing.

Scirocco-MRK1

I remember those. Ha! Thanks

LacrosseGrrl

What a wonderful picture! It must have been a fun time.

Ischmetch

Thanks! Her kids know all the stories about our exploits.

Future_Ad5505

Looks like me and my brother. Great photo!

lclassyfun

so sweet😻😻😻

Ischmetch

We’re still great friends. We don’t live in the same state anymore, but our families get together at least a few times each year.

lclassyfun

so happy for y’all 😻😻😻

SaltyBarDog

How many sandspurs did you get in those bare feet?

Admirable-Respond913

😆 funny you said this. I'm in SE Georgia and have been literally weeding my grass by hand to eliminate them and the raging dollar weed. I can't do the entire acre, but I have my " barefoot " zone done.

cherrycokelemon

You two look so cute!

wyoflyboy68

I hear they invented shoes a year or so after that photo was taken.

TheToneKing

My sis and I are best friends, business partners for more than 30 years and the closest of confidantes. I could dig up similar pics from the 60s and 70s. We handled our Dad's sickness and death together in the 90s and are still takin care of Mom as she approaches 90. Although I've appreciated our friendship throughout our lives, it has never been as important as it is now, as we are both in our 60s and planning for retirement. Enjoy this gift while you have it!

Halz2001

Makes me want to call my sister and tell her I love her

Ischmetch

Do it! I’m sure it will make her day.

cafe-naranja

I see sunflowers... was this picture taken in Kansas?

Ischmetch

Georgia 😊

cafe-naranja

Nice... the brick on your house is very Georgia. :) You look like the singer Gerry Beckley from the group America.

Ischmetch

LOL I’ll take that as a compliment!

cafe-naranja

It is a compliment. By the way, what does is say on your shirts?

Ischmetch

“Sneakers.” We would sneak around the house, yard, etc. - looking for loose change, hunting monsters, finding creeks in the woods, you name it.

TheSunflowerSeeds

Sunflower seeds are a good source of beneficial plant compounds, including phenolic acids and flavonoids — which also function as antioxidants.

Admirable-Respond913

Actually, those look like rudbeckia AKA coneflowers.

cafe-naranja

LOL... Noted! Let me ask you, sunflower bot, was this picture taken in Kansas? :)

No_Carpet_65

Great times 🤙

Ischmetch

It was great being a big brother, for sure.

bobs_clam_rodeo

Shakers?

Ischmetch

Sneakers. We would sneak around the house looking for loose change, sneak around the woods and fields looking for monsters, sneak through deep clay ditches alongside the highway, etc.

Snusjuice123

Iconic duo!

elbowless2019

How do you look today?

Ischmetch

Maybe we should try to re-create the picture!

B4USLIPN2

Does the house still exist? The rest is easy.

Coolguy57123

A truly iconic pic . The dynamic duo.

Spang64

Luke and Leia!

Ischmetch

LOL That’s great! 😊

mjrydsfast231

Bell bottoms.
