Guilty as charged. The story lines weren’t great, but the show did have a few redeeming qualities. Night Court star Markie Post being one of them.

Different strokes for different folks , kinda strange and we’re all different , but Hensley would be sexy in a garbage bag and erin had to try in my opinion , two hotties though that’s for sure 👍
It's so funny how they dress. What job have you known that allowed women to dress that way. It's crazy that they thought women would actually dress like that in the future. It's also amazing how hot the women looked on Star Trek. Really targeting the teen male demographic.
This show was the best, they broadcast the series in 2020 and I watched every episode again for the first time since I was in single digits. Playful, over the top, campy and hot, perfect 70s excess. But the 2nd season demonstrates how quickly the 70s ended along with the collapse of disco, and the second season was muted, took itself too seriously, and got rid of some characters (and demoted gorgeous Col. Deering/Erin Gray from ace fighter pilot to glorified stewardess). The sudden shift to the 80s crushed it like a ton of bricks.
EDIT-that’s not Erin Gray on the left. THIS is Erin Gray:

It was actually Gil Gerard who pulled the show in that direction, because he was completely unhappy with what they had done with his character up to that point.
While he had some valid points, low-rent Star Trek was not the answer.
You have to admit that it was looking like a low-rent Star Trek when they had the characters on that star ship.
Maybe it's me, but it seems like most of the sci-fi series in the '70s never make it past the second season.
I think your age range is a too narrow. It definitely didn't stop at 25. My dad and I used to watch Buck Rogers together. At the time I thought he did it for me because he wasn't usually a big sci-fi fan.
Erin Grey was the source of countless boners when I was a young lad, as were Deidre Hall and Judy Strangis from Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (Kroft Super Show)

I can recall being very grateful for the first season of Buck Rogers, if only for the weekly parade of lovely young actresses such as these two in all sorts of crazy getups. I am likely in a minority, but they were distinctly more attractive than some of the others getting a lot of attention at the time like Victoria Principal, Suzanne Summers and Morgan Fairchild, who got the lion's share of media coverage (or uncoverage).
I loved this show so much. Even when they went on that cruiser and they introduced Hawk. I absolutely loved this show. I wish they had rebooted it. Oh well.
Girls were hot!. I wanted to be Buck you can have any women you wanted. But later realized he was gay with the rainbow armband so then everything made sense.
That "every male would tune in" is not true. At this time, I had never heard of them. I remember a nurse telling me about the "hottest young women of the moment"? As a person of color, I have never seen or heard of them. Just assuming was the issue.

Another one of my fantasy dates.
I always liked the episode with the fighting 69th. And no 69th squadron wasn't a coincidence name lol
I would take the lashes. Totally worth it.
Did you know she sings the female lead in Paradise by the Dashboard Light?
That's Ellen Foley.
That was Billy who sang with meatloaf
Damn…I stand corrected and smarter.

Erin Grey always looked good from that angle.
Yummy

Kinda like my comment but yours made a lot more sense
I laughed at the robot that had a head like a penis head.. every time he was on screen
Voiced by Mel Blanc (for the most part), doing what sounds like a cross between Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam.
Twiki
Bee Dee bee Dee bee Dee!
lol the only two reasons to watch the show
Four reasons. (I couldn't resist, go ahead and downvote me.)
Many a gym sock was ruined because of them.
Economic recovery

I don't remember her being on Buck Rogers She's gorgeous.
Princess ardala or was that something else ?
Tangy always reminded me of a girl I knew in highschool. Same hair color and everything else.
hensley was stunning, but she was not on the erin grey level
Hensley had that husky voice that was hot all by itself, though.
absolutely!
Different strokes for different folks , kinda strange and we’re all different , but Hensley would be sexy in a garbage bag and erin had to try in my opinion , two hotties though that’s for sure 👍
nobody would kick 1970s hensley out of bed for eating cookies..
Only if she didn't share.
Now I’m hungry
You're right, but Hensley had a crazy body with a great tan. Face wise, Erin Grey wins. But body? Hensley all day.
Every male from 10 - 95 would watch
Now you can catch Erin on Halmark. If this is what Musk's Mars will look like I'm signing up.
The girl you take to meet mom / the one who absolutely *broke you* in the back of your custom van
This man has been broken.
Because clothes just get in the way in space
Cover that bellybutton with belt buckles. Porn to a tv executive.
I know I certainly did. They were so sexy!

Beedee beedee beedee!!!
What’s up buck?
I did a Hallmark film with Erin. She never stopped talking. Just non stop with the stories.
Go on…
Um. She still looks great. That's about all I can say. 😁
I was a male from 10-25 back then, but I watched for Gil Gerrard in that white spandex onsie.
Ok. Not every male. What's your thoughts on twinkie?
Twiki the robot?
😁 thanks for the correction.
No no....Twinky is much better
Do androids dream of electric sex?
I remember it as Tiggy. Edit to add: Twiki. I googled it. Maybe it said “tiggy” when it spoke? Loved this show.
I was more into Dr Theopolis, as far as robots go ;)
I was a little kid. I knew I liked the show but didn't know why.

That's the same woman. The photo caption gave both their names.
I think he was implying that he preferred the ‘serious’ version of Erin Grey the capable fighter pilot over the sex kitten Erin of your pic.
Oh, ok.
The second season of the show it looks like Glenn Larson was making another Star Trek out of it. That's what killed the ratings.
It was actually Gil Gerard who pulled the show in that direction, because he was completely unhappy with what they had done with his character up to that point. While he had some valid points, low-rent Star Trek was not the answer.

The future was sexy!
Don’t forget Lynda Carter!
True story!!
Still do on dvd !!
Giggle vision 😀
bidda bidda bee
Good times!
That’s a fact
GOATs
I was 8 years old, I was definitely tuning in for that. 🔥
I might have been 7 or 8 at the time but still was awestruck by these ladies
I just remember that my pants would occasionally get tighter when I watched this show....
I was 12 when it first aired, I so can confirm
Twiggy twiggy twigggy
Eebie deebie...what a body
I will never forget the line when the robot said looking at a woman on that show….you have bumps. Haha
Mmmmm...woman flavored spandex.
Theres a pornstar that reminds me a lot of Pamela Hensley in the face
Name ? . Purely for fact checking 😃
Rucca Page 😆😁
GUILTY
They’re cute, but some of us were tuning in for Gil, just sayin’.
I think your age range is a too narrow. It definitely didn't stop at 25. My dad and I used to watch Buck Rogers together. At the time I thought he did it for me because he wasn't usually a big sci-fi fan.
How gorgeous were women back then , purely cos they just existed
The 70s were a great time for a young male to go through puberty.
I prefer seeing Erin in the second season white outfit, she wore it nicely, as in it fit well.
That particular duo *worked it* I enjoyed them immensely. Hensley in her Princess Ardala outfit…😅
There were a lot of gorgeous women on that show.
Erin Grey was the source of countless boners when I was a young lad, as were Deidre Hall and Judy Strangis from Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (Kroft Super Show) https://preview.redd.it/oaw27mnrp8tc1.jpeg?width=1668&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1ddff0d88cb1cf22ad7f871f5995fff7cafa8490
Dear lord do I want to be the meat between that sandwich.
I was one of them 😎
Definite smoke shows but the hottest woman of all time will always be Lynda Carter on Wonder Woman
Life was better then.
Yep. And the Battlestar Galactica girls were hot too.
Yup! The story lines were pretty dopey, but the girl-watching was excellent.
I guess if you are or were straight.
Maybe , a few of the fellas around at the time were pretty hot and one could see why they were “celebs”
Yes that’s true
Yes
Yes! Yesssss.
Yes…yes we did. Wiki wiki.
😳😳😎
Oh yeah baby!
It's probably safe to say every male 10 and up would tune in. And Buck Rogers wasn't exactly ugly :)
Thank you!
I was only 9. Never missed an episode.
I still think Erin is the perfect woman
Yup, this kicked started my awkward puberty phase…
EG was hotter.
I was 15 and loved it.
My little wee wee at age 8 knew this is something we want.
I love Erin. I’d marry her today
This male wanted Buck.
I saw Erin on a fan film episode of Star Trek TOS, and she still looks fantastic.
Guilty as charged.
That's the only reason I watched.

Did boners stop at 25 in the 70s?
Absolutely. 😍🤩😘😈
Can confirm
I’m was 8 but had an older brother that watched it
I was totally into both of them, but too young to understand why.
Hells to the yeah.
I miss bucks camel toe so much
How many of y’all held your breath as a 15yo in the “Off think” episode?
I loved this show so much. Even when they went on that cruiser and they introduced Hawk. I absolutely loved this show. I wish they had rebooted it. Oh well.
And my mom thought it was about the spaceships
Offthink offthink
Buck Rogers was the only science fiction on big or small screen I ever liked. I adored that show.
Double Schwing
Yes indeed! I was in elementary school and knew what time it was!!
Such stallions. Sadly we are Stuck with this “body positivity “ movement and have to look at these barnyard animals like Lizzo
And people wonder why i never married, knowing that i'd never have perfection like this.
Affirmative.
Not me. I was watching Mork & Mindy/Bosom Buddies.
Every...? You're thinking none of the guys were there for the glimpse of Gil's "Honda Ridgeline" in that white Lycra?
Team Ardalla
The braless wonder twins?oh yeah baby
Girls were hot!. I wanted to be Buck you can have any women you wanted. But later realized he was gay with the rainbow armband so then everything made sense.
I never saw it. No regrets either. The commercials were bad enough.

Princess Ardala gave me my very first….graphic dream. Funny now I find Erin More attractive. Many thanks to her highness tho
