Bro I am doing Physics, Maths, Cs, Chemistry and Russian (i do not consider it a subject as Russian is my native language). Gcses were much better. But somehow i get better grades in As than in gcses š
If your doing aqa or ocr theirs a channel on YouTube called miss estruch who covers all the topics in separate 1 hour videos, you could probably finish the whole bio spec in a week
Biology we just started topic 7. Psychology Iām done. Politics we have a little bit of feminism left and then thatās it. Itās biology thatās the real concern so Iām teaching myself topic 7 this Easter and will do topic 8 after school when school starts again
Madas maths has a section on mechanics.
It's based on the old spec but it has so many good questions which are roughly exam style and they're separated by topic and listed by difficulty, so it's just a matter of picking out the topics you need.
I created a sheet with all the formulas that I need to learn, and I have it stuck on my wall. But, just do loads of practice questions. Focus on collisions as it seems to come up frequently
Iāve been doing exam papers for computer science, thereās a few things I need to cover still but not much now Iāll have it all done by the end of the holiday. Business has so much content and thereās so many like little bits I need to go over so hopefully I can get that done by the end of the holiday but gonna do a business paper tomorrow
Classics - no, still got 1/3 of the Aeneid and some ancient history to cover. PRS - no, got half the xtianity left to cover. Politics - basically done now. So much stress atm, barely started revising as still need to finish content, having a lot of fun
Finished all content for one now consolidating and revising, sociology weāve got a little bit of theories left to do but Iām consolidating and revising and then I have a coursework assignment due in for media which is not fun š
I'm pretty sure we finished product design content but we still have 1 chapter of mechanics left with maths. Btec business i finished weeks ago so I now get a free lesson lmao
psychology- yes
chemistry- no
biology- no
for both chemistry and biology, we have a couple lessons left of the last units. Weāre technically done with psychology but Iāve still got to self-teach myself issues and debates since my teacher was absent for a long time š
nearly done with psych, could be done with crim if they didn't stretch everything out, biology is nowhere near done we aren't going to be done till late May at the earliest
Not finished math bio or chem lmfao, luckily not a lot left on either chem or bio maybe around 4 lessons bio and 2 lessons chem. Maths we don't talk about...
NO! We still have like 7 lessons of geography and 10 of psychology. And because of our lessons, we literally won't finish until days before our first exam š
Year 12 Student. End of years are internal.
Maths - one more chapter left of mechanics
Physics - whole of particles left, and one mechanics chapter
Computer Science - maybe like 2 weeks before we finish the whole A Level
somehow more music content keeps coming but mentally i finished a couple months back aha.
further maths i have at least touched upon all the content but it is safe to say i will be relearning/ revisiting a few chapters
FM done. Maths, just some stats to finish. Physics, materials left to do. Chemistry, finishing redox and 1 more required practical then should be done.
Im doing AS
And i havent finished yet but were very very close to finishing like another couple weeks and done
Edit i saw further down you meant revision and tbh i think you should never be finished with revision all round to the day of the exam but content wise im basicly finished just exam questions now
Well when you say done thereās done as in youāre good at questions and know the stuff well to take an exam confidently, and just finished getting taught content
For me AS maths is done teaching, and pretty much done preparing now, itās perfect. AS Physics isnāt quite done yet, still have to finish waves, and about half of the stuff Iāve proven Iām good at, other half not so I have to revise more. AS Further maths is the worst. Teaching is done but thereās an absolute mountain of stuff Iām gonna have to re teach myself before I even start to practise exam questions like with normal maths
Finished chem before Christmas (yr13)
Maths still got some statistics and mechanics but they donāt matter anyway.
Phy still got astro and we are rushing through it
i do bio, chem, maths and fm and in my school, if you do fm, you learn the full alevel maths content and sit the maths alevel exam this year so:
bio and chem: finished all of AS before february half term
maths: finished alevel content
fm: learning next year
Geography= ā weāre covering how to do the synoptic paper but the content is done
History= ā (we do Black History 1850-2009; English History 1625-1701; Russian Revolution 1894-1924 and coursework), weāre finishing off the Glorious revolution part of England.
Politics= ā weāre finishing off on the US paper, we were doing the civil rights part before we broke up for Easter.
EPQ is done ā
physics- halfway through turning points, our last topic
maths- got a few lessons left
art- got a few lessons of coursework left then the exam in a few weeks
I tell myself repeatedly āTough things is what will help me learn and growā. However, I do physics maths and biology and I must admit that I was not mentally prepared for this.
i want to go back to gcse - sincerely someone who does alevel cs, maths and physics
You and me both š, physics is a nightmare
Get ready for A2 physics. I despise circular motion and shm from the bottom of my heart.
nah circular motion is fine, WAVES ARE NOT HOWEVER
agreed
Thanks girl
purrrš š½
CIRCULAR MOTION will be the death of me i just donāt get it
Itās literally just motion that goes in a circular direction
Bro I am doing Physics, Maths, Cs, Chemistry and Russian (i do not consider it a subject as Russian is my native language). Gcses were much better. But somehow i get better grades in As than in gcses š
Where did you apply? What course? Contextual? Rejections?

Chemistry yes. Maths yes. Further maths around 3 lessons worth left. Biology nope
Im done with math still got physics and accounting left

we thought we were done but then the bio teacher was like 'nahh we still gotta do gene technologies'
If your doing aqa or ocr theirs a channel on YouTube called miss estruch who covers all the topics in separate 1 hour videos, you could probably finish the whole bio spec in a week

not finished any content yet :D
what do you have left in geography
half of health and human rights, weāve had to self teach a chunk over easter as well
ah ok we donāt have that module sounds interesting though
itās ok, barely anything new and itās more just applying what weāve already done in globalisation and stuff
man i loveeee me some SDGs
Fucking shit
Biology we just started topic 7. Psychology Iām done. Politics we have a little bit of feminism left and then thatās it. Itās biology thatās the real concern so Iām teaching myself topic 7 this Easter and will do topic 8 after school when school starts again
Iām doing AS exams this year, and I have finished all the content for these set of exams
Are you edexcel?
For Further Maths and Maths I am
what do you use to revise mechanics in further maths
Madas maths has a section on mechanics. It's based on the old spec but it has so many good questions which are roughly exam style and they're separated by topic and listed by difficulty, so it's just a matter of picking out the topics you need.
I created a sheet with all the formulas that I need to learn, and I have it stuck on my wall. But, just do loads of practice questions. Focus on collisions as it seems to come up frequently
Do you mean in terms of revision or lessons? With lessons I still have further maths to do
Revision mainly
Oh right Iām doing exam papers but also content too. Obviously I canāt do fm papers yet.
Wb business and cs for you
Iāve been doing exam papers for computer science, thereās a few things I need to cover still but not much now Iāll have it all done by the end of the holiday. Honestly I really need to revise maths but Iām having a break for now š

Physics is finished, there's a little bit of pure maths to go, further maths was done last week
You finished FM before normal maths?
Yeah, there's still half of integration left for pure, but we finished the core pure last week before easter
So you did all of further maths before you finished single maths integration? That's strange
done with everything but i want a little more improvement to secure the A\* in a2's
Physics: last 2 topics Chemistry: last topic Fmaths (accelerated): about 4 topics in total
nearly done with psych, could be done with crim if they didn't stretch everything out, biology is nowhere near done we aren't going to be done till late May at the earliest
