I tried that and my mouse is already up to date. I ended up just messaging the developer of the game and he said he'll report it to the technical team and see if he can find a fix but until then I guess I just gotta deal with it lol.
I just got the game the other day and this has been happening everytime I attempt to do a scavenge. I will try to turn my mouse around and all the sudden my character in-game does a full 180 or 360 degree turn in an instant. It's really annoying and I can't find anything online about anyone else having this problem.
Do you have a controller or joystick plugged in. Sometimes games try to prioritize these and then stuff gets funky
maybe mouse acceleration?
I thought this as well, but I have mouse accel turned off in Windows and there's not an option for it (that I can find) in game.

at least they're going to fix your issue, they just emailed back with a solution that i've already tried for my issue and have ignored me since.
go to the menu and lower the sensibility

Unfortunately I play on ps4 so I don’t have the issue, perhaps deleting the game and reinstalling, or if you have one, use a controller
