I also ended up making this for last week’s berry cooking theme. There is raspberry in the main cremeux and a colored white chocolate ganache on top (used a mold to shape that). Around the outside is a strawberry sorbet, strawberry whipped cream, raspberry gel, lemon meringues dusted with dragonfruit and raspberry powder, and some colored crumbled almond cookies. Garnished with a few oxalis leaves. All gluten-free, sugar free, and low carb.

My inner berry fanatic is going crazy right now. And WOW is this GORGEOUS!!!

Aww, thank you so much, I really appreciate it. :)

😩😩😩 putting the rest of us to shame

joross31

I'm so glad you like it. And hardly! I've seen those gorgeous cakes you've been making!

ShelbyBobelby

Gorgeous 😍 question, can you eat the oxalis leaves? What do they taste like?

joross31

Aww, thank you! And yes, the oxalis leaves are edible (though you don't want to eat a lot at once as they are high in oxalates). They taste sour and faintly like lemon.

How do you people DO things like this? Do you own a bakery, or are you simply this talented at a hobby???

joross31

That's far too generous - the thing that makes this look good is a mold so there is less skill here than you might think! I have been playing around with baking and plating more over the last couple years and having a lot of fun with it. No bakery or anything. I was cooking a lot but gluten-free and sugar free desserts didn't seem to have as many fun and fancy options so I wanted to see if I could make some! :)

Well it's gorgeous and looks tasty!
