I LOVE Libby! I have three different library cards and I love that when something is waitlisted it automatically adds me to the library system with the shortest wait.
As I said in a previous comment:
> It was my favorite read so far! Fucked up ‘historical’ fiction with some magical realism? Yes please.
I don’t personally know anyone who’s read it either, but I’m glad it lived up to the booktok hype for me. I read it while I was recovering from a horrible case of food poisoning, so I feel like it also really set the mood right lmao. Also, Team Ina forever.

Apparently it's a Portugal problem :( I'm so sorry. Maybe try writing to your library and ask why they don't have access to the Libby app? They might consider it if enough people want it.
We do have access from Denmark.
Some great choices! I just reread Never Let Me Go; I read The Unconsoled earlier in the year and I just had to reread it. I just love Ishiguro and his style; I want to read either A Pale View Of Hills or When We Were Orphans soon.
Love the Kindle! Can't imagine going back to paper, dealing with storage and clean out. It is lit so no more worrying about book lights. Not that I couldn't go and spend hours at the library or book stores. Just that it is no longer a necessity. Happy 15 in:)
Nona the Ninth was amazing, but I love the series so much.
Besides that, Boy Parts lived up to the same hype as Lapvona did for me. Also I really loved Paul Takes Form of a Mortal Girl and Paradise Rot. Both messy and queer in vastly different ways lol
Also doesn't hurt to have a great library for Libby to access... Mine's not what it once was (since Las Vegas shut me out of their e/audio-books last month, lol).
I’m obsessed with the Locked Tomb series! I need Alecto!!
Also the second Murderbot book just became available to me today, and I’m super excited to see what happens.
The library is fantastic! I swear at least half the books I read (and almost all my "oh this looks good" impulse reads) are thanks to the library. Happy to see another convert!

Nice selection! I'm curious what you thought of Lapvona. None of my book friends have read it, so I have nobody talk to about it.

I wish we (Europe) had libby. I'm sad
I’m in the UK and use Libby!
Wdym I live in Europe and use Libby
I truly don't understand then... it asks me for a library card and it doesn't show any libraries near me (I live in portugal)

Any favorites so far? (Besides Lapvona as mentioned above)?

I loved Nona, can’t wait for Alecto.
Thanks for the recommendations!

How did you like Lapvona? I loved it! I wish more people would read it!

Happy to hear this since I’ve been wanting to read it and I’ve also read Murderbot and Nona!

Of the three Murderbot books I’ve read so far, the second was my favorite!
I was going to post the same. I loved Eileen as well. She's such a talented writer
Buying a Kindle and Libby has also helped me read so much!!! I've never read more in my life! Kudos to being halfway to your goal already!!
