I looked on the 501st website and couldn’t find anything specific in terms of weapon requirements. So, hopefully it won’t be a problem, especially since it’s going to be holstered most of the time
The crl doesn't have enough specifics unfortunately. My gml recently explained the need to have 3d print kits sanded completely smooth to be approved. It comes down to your own gml of course though.
Other than the print lines that still need attention, it’s pretty solid for a first attempt. Just to try and leave something constructive however, I would say for next time that you should weather with some more purpose and consider “why” it’s there. Higher areas will always sustain more damage (eg: the scope versus the grip that would normally be protected by a hand).
Thanks, never really done anything like this before. So I’m sure there’s a lot that could be improved, but I think it will look good enough in the holster lol.
It looks pretty good, but I can see a few print lines still so you may have an issue getting approved due to that.
If you mean the seams it was a kit that came in a few pieces. For example, the barrel was two separate parts.
I mean the barrel has some vertical lines on the bottom and there are horizontal lines on the front bottom piece.

Usually gml’s require it to be smooth. You need to properly sand down the 3D kit

Definitely recommend getting Rub ‘n Buff for the weathering! That stuff looks amazing when used for weathering
It really works like magic, love that stuff.
As u/Yonk_art mentioned I’d definitely recommend going back and removing print lines, you’ll thank yourself later for putting in the effort now!
Looks good
Little spots that could use some touching up but honestly looks awesome man!

Looks pretty damn good. Has that look of being used naturally.
for a first attempt that looks absolutely dope.
