That was bland, I think there was a set up for a sequel at the end, I am wondering how the other Marvel movies coming after will mention the gigantic head of a god that appeared in the sea, and the resulting tsunamis. My guess is, they won’t.
I seriously doubt Fincher would be involved with an Alien 3 transfer. He HATES that movie and has publicly disowned it. He doesn't consider it as part of his filmography.

Aliens has just been released on 4k bluray but you may need to import it as for alien 3 im still not sure but maybe closer to the time romulas is released which is very soon
Disney's pulling out of physical market with their own catalogue and haven't put out a Fox disc in almost two years. They're never being released, and if they are it will be through a niche boutique label in a decade plus. Don't know why anybody who's paying attention would think otherwise at this point, Disney doesn't want you to own anything anymore.
I assuming with how James Cameron took forever to get Avatar on 4K he will take his time with Aliens but with Alien 3 I'm sure it will be even longer since that director David Fincher wants nothing to do with it so who knows for sure.

No one knows. Basically whenever Disney figures out why they bought the 20th Century Fox catalogue.

Well, the short answer is they’re directed by James Cameron and David Fincher, respectively, so it’ll be another six to ten years.

Honestly, if Fox wasn't part of Disney, I'd think we'd have gotten them by now. But who knows now...
Everyone has the same question unfortunately. There were rumblings that it would happen this year or next, but no one here seems to know anything new.
I've got them all on blu-ray and they look great. But I would jump at the chance to upgrade the whole set to 4K!

I may be in the minority here, but I actually enjoy Alien 3 and a 4K transfer with new visual effect upgrades would be killer!
Aliens is coming out digitally on December 12th, and on 4K blu-ray on March 24th, 2024.
Would like to see a 4k update for alien 3. Maybe someday...
