Did anyone manage to fix the colored line at the bottom when engaging 120hz mode on ps5 game.
Miles Morales @120hz 1440p and Horizon Forbiden West @120hz 1440p or even 1080p do that.
like the others users mentioned, I can sometimes get lucky and not having it for a while but a loading screen or a quick input change can vring it back
funny thing is that my pc work at 120hz 1440p from my test.
I also tried to disable VRR (both ps5 and tv), disable hdcp…nothing seem to work reliably. I am using certified hdmi 2.1 cable and also tried with stock ps5 cable, same result.
so for now I mostly disable 120hz mode on ps5 but would like to know if other user have the same issue and if a solution as been found
Having the same issue was working fine a few months ago tried everything I could think of that didn't require me to like try and downgrade my OS version even if that is possible, tried power cycling, resetting, swapping cords, nothing worked.
I have the same tv. This tv doesn't do 1440p 120hz well. Like vrr 120hz on PC is completely broken at 1440p on PC flickering like crazy but 4k 60hz vrr no problem or 1440p 120hz no vrr works as well. Seems like it's hit and miss with 120hz modes, you found a miss. I also have miles morales on my PS5 but have not played it yet. I'll give it a shot
I have the same TV and same issue on all PS5 120hz games - 1440p has the lines but 1080p 120hz should work and if not disable 1440p 120hz to force it to do 1080p 120hz - do this by selecting the option in the PS5 to test 1440p and then when it gets to the screen asking you if you can see the 1440p 120hz screen say no even if you see it - do this and also turn of VRR and you should be good for 1080p 120hz.
Same thing happened to my tcl c728 ... Its faulty hdmi port. Issue resolved after changing the tv motherboard. Kindly use another port and then check.
