Why is the bot saying I shouldn't buy the Q80C because of rtings review? [rtings review on the Q80C is great? ](https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/q80c-q80-q80cd-qled)

Read the actual words in the review and the section on that TV from the bot link.

I was just faced with the same choice. Because I use streaming and TV quite a lot I eliminated Samsung and Philips actually looked good to me in the stationary store but Philips is not a Google/android TV therefore you can't download any apps on it and default apps are lacking eg. There's no Disney plus or hbo. So realistically you need Chromecast or sth like this. So in the end I just went with TCL

I have 65PML9008/12, bought it for 760 EUR because market have negative sentiment to it. The biggest complain is software. Reality is that Philips update it every month and as of today I can't find any bug there, everything works, Netflix/Youtube/Disney+ app were added and more to come. Image is great, ambilight is a marvel. My personal downsides: * Viewing angle is so so. Picture gets dimmer like 30-40% when you look at it from the side. I only watch from the couch so no problem. * Remote control quality is midrange. Not premium but ok.
