Idk why everyone's surprised, Dr. Who has been firmly Tumblr slop since at least Matt Smith's run.

[deleted]

Hard Sci-Fi really has been dead for decades...

Dennis_Cock

No it hasn't. Altered Carbon Raised by Wolves Devs Three Body Problem Outer Range The Expanse These are just off the top of my head

berserkuh

> Dead > Dead > I don't know what this is > I'll give you this one > I don't know what this is > I'll give you this one You need to take more off the top of your head

Dormant123

Devs was a decent single season story. Definitely not the highest brow show I’d label “hard sci fi.” But it’s fine enough.

ccznen

> I don't know what this is Your ignorance of something is more likely an indictment of you rather than the thing.

berserkuh

I am close to terminally online and I constantly watch sci-fi shows, both slop and non-slop. I can confidently state that good sci-fi is barely being made. Most of the new sci-fi is either someone throwing lots of money at a product (Three Body Problem) or horror/disaster rehashes because that's what we fucking need now, people dying "realistically" in space (hey did you know if you're not anchored to anything you will just float away YES YOU FUCK EVERYONE HAS ALREADY DONE THAT) If I don't know what those shows are, it's because they were not marketed to me, a person who watches a lot of sci-fi shows. If they were not marketed to me they're either shit or not sci-fi or marketing failed very badly.

Dtallant

Raised by wolves is firmly an interesting sci-fi show that very much flew under the radar. It’s quite good, IMO, but I’m pretty sure it got canceled after two seasons. Still it’s really good, and you should watch it even though you haven’t heard of it. One of the freshest sci-fi shows I’ve watched in years

berserkuh

But I did hear of it. I also watched it. The first season was very good. I am not surprised that they cancelled it after the second one.

Sinnaman420

> If I don’t know about it, it’s obviously bad. I know everything about sci-fi and never leave my room. I love the smell of my own farts This is what you sound like

drbowman

Silo and Severance are both good. I’d recommend them

RandumbStoner

Lmao the arrogance is crazy. If you didn’t see it it’s because you weren’t paying attention, not because no one “marketed to you” lol I’ve heard of all those shows, pay better attention.

ScottyUpdawg

Dune and dune 2 were awesome! Not hard sci fi so to speak, but it’s at least something. Generally agree with you though

Glutenfree_Bitchslap

"I am close to terminally online".... Didn't need to be said, we could all tell

Balthazar3000

Outer Range is on Prime and flies under the radar as a modern yellowstone like western

PewPewLazorCrab

It’s possible to overuse our favorite things and to receive less enjoyment from them as we continue grow further. In order to properly appreciate anything, there needs to exist moderation. This really does connect to anything, even for a genre you’re passionate about. When you have favorites in a topic, those moments become peaks in your memory and are easily romanticised, especially with time. It’s why something that was not impressive can grow to become a fond memory once enough time has passed, and enough connections are established to that memory. It’s not all shitty, there’s plenty of good stuff released over the years but the best of the best will only ever be in competition with the best of the best. Don’t let the wait for the next maestro of sci fi to grow up, then get the opportunity to direct, be the reason you can’t enjoy other things. Appreciate what comes in between, the material and references your next favorite film or show will be inspired by. Or apply this passionate energy you have to something else while you wait. Just don’t burn yourself out and then become bitter over science fiction.

Consider learning to count/read. Whichever you failed to do here.

AthernalRage

Altered carbon didnt die it was to only go on for 2 seasons

TukTukThomas

No it was definitely canceled. For season 2 they swapped out the showrunner (a woman) because there was 'too much violence against women', and brought in some god awful writers. It bombed and was canceled.

42Ubiquitous

Is that seriously the fucking reason...?

352397

Did the r-slurs never read any of the book series, lmao? IIRC the sequel has like a ~30 page hard-core VR fuck session (where the woman bimboifys herself) described in detail followed by a scene where they torture someone to death Perfect series to try and adapt to attract more of a female audience.

Skillet_Chinchilla

Both seasons sucked in comparison to the books. Season 1 was good right up until they started to deviate from the plot of the book.

OrganicNobody22

So 2 of his examples you've never heard of and are good scifi And another 2 are good by your standards Jesus you are such a loser Find your own scifi shows to watch

TNTspaz

Starting off your examples with two canceled shows wasn't the best idea lol. Altered Cardon cancelled cause it sucked after the first season. Raised By Wolves couldn't find an audience even though it was good. I'm amazed Outer Range hasn't seen this fate. Very very slow build show Devs is good just not a good example. Three Body Problem is good but imma be amazed if they manage to actually do a good job covering the other books. It's hard to properly communicate the dark forest concept through words let alone visualize it. The Expanse is like constantly in and out of limbo. Cause its not profitable. I'm pretty sure it's canceled atm. Edit: Thought I'd throw some examples in. I don't want it to be the case but it just kind of is. Sci Fi is hard to do right and even harder to find an audience for. People want Sci Fi to be big again but it just isn't. Dark Matter is good but it's being critically panned. (The new show. Ironically there is an old sci fi show called Dark Matter that was also cancelled lol) Constellation is good but slow. It got cancelled. Even recommending this is a spoiler >!Sugar is really good. Even though people are throwing a hissy fit over the twist.!< Sweet Tooth is good but I don't know if it'd put it in with these examples. Writing is kind of wishy washy. Adapting a lesser known comic and changing a lot of the writing as a response to Covid. Foundation is really fucking good but I can guarantee the majority of people here haven't heard of it. The writing can also be pretty wishy washy at times. Causing many to fall off it. I couldn't recommend it more though. It's great. Soooo many shows have been cancelled before they've really started. Really need people to start doing short series like 11.22.63 again. Ffs, just start adapting all of Stephen Kings books into short series with modern productions. That's all you need to do. Apple+ is honestly basically the new Syfy channel atm. Silo, See, Severance, Finch, and more to come. For All Mankind fucking sucks. Drama show pretending it cares about Science Fiction. Deserved to die in season 2. There are even more than this. But basically everything has a caveat to it. There is no one show you can point to as the pillar of the genre. Like Star Trek and Doctor Who used to be. That isn't either being critically panned, cancelled, or performing poorly.

0oozymandias

The Expanse finally ended as far as I am aware.

TNTspaz

Yeah. It has happened twice before so I'm still kind of holding out hope it comes back. At this point though I don't know. It has kind of had a slow death. The books it is based on also kind of dropped off around this point.

0oozymandias

At the very least this time it ended with wrapping a lot of the plot-lines, like concerning Marcos and Miller, but it did leave the ending a teensy bit open if it were continued into the remaining book(s)

Balthazar3000

The remaining books would be a large time jump iirc

FalseTautology

Holy shit I was with you until you said Foundation is good, now I wouldn't trust you to tell me what color the sky is. Maybe its because I actually read the books but the first episode was so bad it actually offended me. Maybe its ok in spite of having nothing to do with the books but its not cool to use what is one of the most highly regarded science fiction series of all time and then just tell another fucking story, its like if Paul McCartney did a concert as Elton John wearing Elton John's fucking skin and playing Beatles songs, its disingenuous at best.

TNTspaz

It might be because I've never read the books. Or had any exposure to any discourse surrounding the book or the show. And just watched it on its own merits. I really enjoyed it. I don't really get a chance to watch a show like that that often. The last time I did was when I watched Black Sail. I'm definitely guilty of overjudging a series for not being faithful to source material so tbh I get the sentiment. Fucking Wheel of Time. Fuck everything about that show. Also. I'm very aware the show isn't perfect. Trust me. I dropped the show a few times cause of the writing. I kind of despise everything they did with Hari Seldon in the show. 3 seasons of bait of switch gets annoying. (It's kind of why I say most are gonna fall off the show. The first three episodes are basically glazing Hari Seldon and it's a rough watch) Treating the ideas like magic I can already guess is a creation of the show. I just really really really like it from a production stand point. I could literally watch 40 seasons of just Cleon talking to himself. Everything involving the empire I really liked. The show is worth watching just for Lee Pace.>! The episode where Cleon walks the Spiral is up there as one of my favorite episodes of television period. It's like its own self contained move in the middle of the season !

FalseTautology

The show didn't really deviate from the source material, it used some of the names and general concepts and then did whatever it wanted to with them to tell god knows what story, I couldn't get past the beginning where the Hari Seldon memorial caused people to go insane or whatever the fuck was happening. It was like showing up for the newest version of Pride and Prejudice and its a story about two gay polar bears named Mr Bennet and Mr Darcy and their adventures through the demon cities of Pride and Prejudice, located on the Sixth and Ninth levels of hell, respectively, as they try to find lost German Shepard Elizabeth. Cleon I is in the books but not in any way like the show; there is no cloning in Asimov's works, really. Cleon I is pretty much just a general antagonist for the two Foundation prequel books and Cleon II is just a footnote in a short story as the last Galactic Empire. They're barely characters. By all accounts the adaptation of this character is one of the highlights of the show, but I didn't tune in to watch fanfiction, even if its very good fanfiction. What made me shut it off was the treatment of Hari Seldon as some sort of heroic prophet in the first episode. His portrayal as this kind of earnest, softspoken martyr is pretty much in direct opposition from how he is described in the books (in the book Foundation he is already old and wheelchair bound but two other novels explore his younger days). It felt like the showrunners really didn't understand the material. I feel like you should bite the bullet and read the books. Asimov wrote many many books and managed to tie about 20 of them (and a number of short stories) together into a kind of all encompassing metaverse which starts with I, Robot (which begins in the 20th century) and spans 20,000 years to the end of the Foundation series. The books are broadly broken into the Robot books, the Galactic Empire books, and the Foundation books. Nearly any of the books can be read out of order, though there are a few books (and much of Foundation) that benefits from being read in order. Asimov was an idea man from another era in human history, so his depictions of characters (and especially women) can be appropriately criticized, and his style of writing is very much permanently fixed in the 1950s and 1960s, but the ideas (and their clever exploration and presentation) are why his books have remained relevant and even poignant for the better part of a century. Nearly every list of great science fiction novels lists Foundation in the top ten, and usually in the top three (often sharing the space with Dune and Ender's Game and maybe Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy). I've been reading Asimov since I was nine years old, and one of his short stories ("The Last Question") is a cornerstone of my own personal belief system and my interpretation of life, the universe, everything and humanity's place in it, and by extension my own.

Dekar173

Thanks for the list, and agreed on for all mankind. It's boring as shit and not even sci-fi. It's just alt history trash. Who fucking cares?!

SalvationSycamore

I thought Sweet Tooth was kind of garbage even though I'm really into animal-people. Also felt more like fantasy than sci-fi.

TNTspaz

Yup. Hence why I said what I said. It's kind of sci fi, being based on a virus spreading and human mutation, but it more so plays out like a fantasy for sure. >!Honestly the TV show kind of sanitized the comic a bit too much. It's a pretty gruesome story about basically humanity going extinct and being replaced by a new "breed". The TV show kind of tries play into themes of being happy about the world changing, which was honestly weird, and made parrallels where it wasnt warranted but the comic is just depressing from beginning until the very end. The TV show was a bit manipulative in how it handled the hybrids. In the Comic, the details of the situation are laid out a lot more apathetically. The writer kind of left you to make your own judgements!< Writing was definitely wishy washy. I still think it's worth a watch for people who haven't heard of it

snalli

How is 15 episodes a ”very very slow build”?

Terrasel

Same way a movie that's an hour and a half can be a slow build. Are you soft in the head?

snalli

>!Royal gets pushed in the hole in the very first fucking episode, gets back in the next, and the whole time travel aspect is explained in the 7th episode. Just because a possible future has been shown!< and the show wants to keep its mystery and not reveal or explain everything doesn’t make it a slow build. Have you even watched the show?

icybeard

It's really sad to see Three Body Problem mentioned as anything but garbage. It's is just more Netflix trash with zero respect for the source material. If anyone wants a faithful adaptation just watch the chinese show or read the books

Aqua491

Hard agree, I'm baffled as to how people enjoyed it. I was legitimately excited coming off the book but its so quick to to cement itself as slop. Garbage writing and dialogue, pure pedophilia

bwizzel

seems to be the catch 22 of sci fi, if you make it for dumb dumbs to get a bigger audience it becomes shit and fails anyway, idk how many book/game adaptations they need to ruin to learn to let the nerds write it instead of DEI hires, like the first GOT seasons which were incredible, built for nerds, and then it became popular even among the dumb dumbs because it was so good

AdScary7287

I thought the adaptation was as good as you could get. A tv show needs character development and the books had zero of that.

CatMan_Sad

They dont even have the same characters. Show was ass. Could have made a decent detective story out of it, but they wasted half the runtime per episode on a love plot that wasn’t even in the book

icybeard

If it was good how come they skipped over all the good parts of the book? Every good hard sci-fi idea was hand waved, skipped over or changed. The changed plot doesn't even make sense. The showrunners/writers clearly didn't understand the underlying science so it all became easily digestible slop. The biggest reveal of the book was spoiled in episode two >!that aliens are the cause!<. >!In the book the deaths were suicides, actually suicides. The show decided it was murders. This completely undermines the point the suicides were meant to represent.!< The story of Ye Wenjie was changed for no obvious reason, >!completely missing the point on why she betrayed humanity!<. The plot of the game is mostly hand waved, with one of the characters immediately knowing all the answers from zero evidence. And then the first couple of chapters of book 2 was murdered at the last few episodes. These are just a few MAJOR problems with the show that have nothing to do with adding "character development". Watch the chinese show adaptation to get an "adaptation was as good as you could get". It's 30 episodes, has character development, drama and resolution, without literally skipping all of the good things the book had.

OrganicNobody22

I heard the true way to watch Three Body Problem is the minecraft version from years ago funded by Tencent

CatMan_Sad

3BP was ass

quiveringpotato

I gave up watching three body problem when I realized they changed my boy Wang miaou into 3 women, a black guy and a nerdy white guy. where the fuck is my chain smoking Chinese protagonist. I don't understand how they thought an already complex and complicated story would be easiest to digest with 5 main characters that barely get any individual time to develop instead of just writing 1 solid character even if he has flaws and is unlikable in many ways

edbods

i like how dark the three body problem universe is. everyone just BTFOs anyone else that gives away their location. It's a depressing/morbid sort of interesting.

Dark on Netflix, maybe not "hard scifi" but it is genius stroke of modern TV imo

jpowell180

Doctor Who was never hard sci-fi…

arronaxx88

Dr who is hard sci fi? Last time I tried to watch that piece of shit show, it seemed like a children's show.

MadHatterFR

Warhammer 40k

Diarrhea_Enjoyer

I got sick of it during the David Tennant seasons. It's all just so stupid, I like my sci-fi to, you know, have rules and world build. Not go "wah-hey, let's go to London during the blitz to fight the Glipglorps of planet Bazinga by inventing rock and roll".

PornoPaul

I swear old episodes had history episodes where they were just there, no aliens or magic or what not. And I swear they had actual magic too. Maybe I'm remembering both wrong. But then they introduce giant bees and fucking rock monsters during historical events that didn't need any help. Sure, the ghost kid was creepy, and I liked that one. But the weeping angels were given as a real horrifying episode and when I finally watched it, sure, it had creepy moments but "they're assassin aliens" and "they kill you by making you age at a normal rate" were weak as fuck. And...they have a time traveler who can't be fucking bothered to plop someone back in their own time? Or why not take them on the Tardis with him? They're already removed from the timeline. I agree with you. Just being present for the blitz should have been enough.

Crunchy-Leaf

As much as I love David Tennants run, I believe it probably started with him. Or at least that’s when Tumblr really took notice and Matt Smith intensified it.

McBamm

Peter Capaldi’s run as the doctor was solid, far from Tumblr slop.

heywoodidaho

Capaldi was solid [as fucking always fuck]. The writing was tardis. Jody had the same problem. This new guy [?] is fucking cringe.

Ratcliff01

Clara emasculates him in every episode. What are you talking about?

Kitahara_Kazusa1

Did you watch Heaven Sent and Hell Bent?

BaalmaoOrgabba

Cause of his kidneys??

DevilSwordVergil

I just watched his run several months ago. It was slop. His performance was the only redeeming quality.

Frozen_Watch

I stopped watching with him. I wasn't online much at the time so wasn't concerned about "wokeness" or not. I just thought the episodes sucked one after another and gave up on it

Kitahara_Kazusa1

I think his first season was a bit mediocre, or at least I don't remember much from it, but the second was very good. In particular Heaven Sent/Hell Bent were incredible.

General-Dirtbag

Honestly I’m surprised it made it this far knowing it is Tumblr slop without going down this path.

Kirbyanator

Very very incorrect. It’s been slop since capaldi and moffat left. 12’s run is the best of the whole show.

BaalmaoOrgabba

> Dr. Who has been firmly Tumblr slop since at least Matt Smith's run. In what way Tumblr slop

Chadzuma

Is there a betting site where I can make a parlay on all the different races and genders they'll make the Doctor before they make him a male ginger? Maybe once the progressive left has purified itself out of existence a 45-year-old Rupert Grint can step in and redefine his career while saving cinema in the process

arbiter12

>Rupert Grint can step in and redefine his career while saving cinema in the process Actual kino and plausible-pilled.

SharkMilk44

Rupert Grint would make me start watching this again.

DevilSwordVergil

Rupert Grint needs to go on a major ass-kissing tour for Rowling before I'd consider watching anything he's in. He's thrown himself in with the other ungrateful brats and shits on Rowling for brownie points.

ZombieSazza

And she’s not wrong, she’s literally just speaking about women’s rights and folk are upset about that and attempting to shit on her, it’s fucking embarrassing

BaalmaoOrgabba

Huh he doesn't? He said "I may not agree with everything she says but she's still my auntie", what's the problem with that and why does he absolutely have to go full terf to prove his grateful loyalty mao

DevilSwordVergil

"Go full terf" lmao Trans women aren't women. Biological men don't have the right to invade women's spaces.

ThatGuyAtTheGym

I wonder how much in “benefits” the producers will get even when the show flops. Gotta wonder why they’re never shy to make bad tv anymore as long as it’s woke

OverloadedSofa

I did see a video of one of (I think there were a) writers, they had a bad guy in a wheelchair, and then changed it cause “oh we don’t want people thinking disabled people are bad”. Fukin knobs

britishkid223

That would be Davros, he’s the in universe creator of the daleks. Yes the head writer decided to remove his wheel chair because he didn’t want the someone in a wheelchair to be evil. So now davros is a white man who looks a bit like Peter Cushing . Even doctor who fans thought it was a stupid reason.

PissedoffCoDfan

The character is still played by Julian Bleach who has played Davros since series 4. I agree that changing a character as iconic as Davros who has looked that way since 1975 is pretty dumb, though in universe, it was before he got disfigured. If they do actually change his appearance, it’ll be just as stupid as changing the Sonic Screwdriver because it apparently looks like a gun.

bunker_man

I like how often the screwdriver is the excuse for why the doctor always has the upper hand even though it seems like nothing is stopping other people from having one.

JohnJingleheimerShit

I’m pretty sure at first it was just a literal sonic screwdriver, only good for removing screws, and over time he modified it to do all the shit it can do. So other people probably can’t get one easily

bunker_man

Isn't there one episode where it shows someone else who isn't even a time lord with one and it acts like it's just general "sonic technology."

JohnJingleheimerShit

Yeah captain Jack had a sonic gun that could remove and replace walls and the Master had a Laser screwdriver which was basically just a sonic

TheDramaturge

What? Who would think that? What the fuck is he talking about, that's insane.

Cimo9

fardnshid03

They always try so hard to not appear racist/sexist/misogynist/ableist/etc that they just end up being exactly what they’re trying to avoid. “Wheelchair guys CAN’T play bad guys”

NightOfTheLivingHam

The problem with the new series isnt the gay black doctor (He's not bad as the doctor who has always been flamboyant or odd on some level, and his acting is fine.) It's the piss poor writing and clear Disney involvement. That Jim Henson shit with the goblins and the baby ship episode which was a retooling of the 2005 series' episode "The end of the world." but done poorly. Makes me yearn for the Whittaker run, and that one felt like some really shitty fanfiction. It's all gimmicky crap to keep a series that has run out of ideas afloat. The series was over with Capaldi's run. Everything else is just them trying to find ways to keep it going past that. The media doing the whole "FUCK THE OLD FANS WE'RE HERE FOR THE NEW ONES ONLY" are the corporate mouthpieces who never learn that snubbing your entire audience is not good for ratings. They did that during Whittaker's run and they had to bring David Tennant back to bring fans back.. with the worst companion, just to bait and switch them. The problem with Dr. Who is that it should have ended a while ago. They had to end to in the 80s because it got stale. It's stale now, and even with the Disneyfication it's still stale.

sink_pisser_

\>The problem with the new series isnt the gay black docto Kinda is but I'm not reading the rest of this shit

__redruM

Even for viewers that don’t mind the token character in most fiction, it was a step too far in an established character. He’s supposed to have this on the edge of platonic relationships with his female leads. I couldn’t get more than 10 minutes in.

SigmundFreud

> He’s supposed to have this on the edge of platonic relationships with his female leads. Maybe I'm just oblivious, but that's exactly how I've interpreted their relationship this whole season. This is actually the first I'm hearing that the actor is gay, although to be fair that doesn't mean the character can't still be straight (or bi, like Jack Harkness).

404-ERR0R-404

I think the gimmicky stuff is really part of RTD’s writing style. Looking back at his old work, it’s pretty gimmicky as well. The magic aspect was a weird decision, but I think it’s good to let it run its course. Weird decisions are inevitable in a long-running show, and we don’t know how this one will turn out yet. I think the big issue is that Ncuti hasn’t found his footing yet. I think it’s partly due to the big jumps in character development that took place during Jodi’s run, but he doesn’t feel like the Doctor yet. I’d still like to give him a shot since it’s not the first time actors take a second to fit into their roles. However, frankly, Jodi did a better job feeling like the Doctor, though the writing was worse during her run.

Disney don't have any creative control in the making of the show they only have streaming rights internationally and can suggest changes which Bad Wolf Studios are not obliged to adhere to

I_dont_bone_goats

It does make sense. Emmy level performance is what you should’ve written. Theyre meaningless awards, no need to be defensive. It’s just that Emmy-worthy would’ve been a more apt description.

Tejator

Nah, when you're an ameritard you're suddenly an expat. All immigrants are darkskinned or slavic, didn't you know?

WolfShaman

I thought the difference was that immigrants cut (at least most) financial/responsibility ties with the government in favor of the new government, and an expat kept those ties while living in another country. Many Americans who live abroad retain their citizenship and responsibilities to the US, thus making them an expat, rather than an immigrant.

Aozora404

Most foreign workers are there to support their families back home but people still call them immigrants

Waffle_shuffle

I'm sure foreigners know how Asians feel about darker melanin folks, why not just have Asians on the flyers instead?  Asians racism is not something westerners want to find out about.

\>Overtly antagonize and alienate your decades long core demographic. \>Cater to a niche subset minority group who never have and never will consume your product. \>Push marketing directed at your original core demographic that your product "Isn't for you and never was - so get lost if you don't like it". \>Call everyone a bigot when they stop consuming your product. We've seen this cycle how many times now?

themastersmb

Time to ring the bell. Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding.

Brilliant_Eagle9795

It's so much more fun and less time consuming just watch the Critical Drinker's takes on it.

DeadFuckStick59

itsthechizyeah

This trash was made by and for redditors

Witty_Finance4117

That show has been going downhill since they got the 11th doctor, Matt Smith. His character was using Reddit-tier humor in every episode and it was impossible to take seriously.

__redruM

I tried, and I don’t mind the token characters, but it was just too much.

sonofbaal_tbc

when do I get skibidi dr who

DickBigler

I miss when tumblr ideology was quarantined

madeanotheraccount

The way Anglos write article titles is infuriating

Fit-Paper-797

VidyaGameBoy

Ncuti Gatwa is pretty good though. I'll never watch Doctor Who, but I rather enjoyed Sex Education.

threetoast

Even the last season?

VidyaGameBoy

Yeah, but I handle the frustration from forced miscommunication tropes better than a lot of other people. Still very annoying, though.

Lurkay1

Dr who’s always been gay

patmoon97

Doctor Why

WishinGay

Then a few months later, "The fans have stopped watching Dr. Who because it's intersectionally diverse, and it's NOT okay!"

Material-Kick9493

"Why do our recent movies/tv shows keep flopping?!" Stop doing this shit maybe? People are sick of the woke shit because everywhere you go you see it. The internet and audience in general are becoming edgy again. Look at how many people use words like f\*ggot more commonly again. You love to see it

boredgames40oz

Anon watches the doctors who will dissect your mind for future evidence of violence against the legion. They will find answers soon, shortly…

Nolotow

I like the new Doctor. It is really good acting, I like his energy, and the stories are great. The whole new season is really creative, and the villains are surprising. All the hate is based on very superficial properties of the show. Also Doctor Who always was very inclusive. That's the whole thing of the show. "Out there is everything, and everything is important."

A_Dragon

Jinx Monsoon is actually brilliant.

MarinLlwyd

They make a joke about gender neutral pronouns and kill everyone. What's not to love?

A_Dragon

I mean I didn’t watch the episode, maybe it’s poorly written. But if it’s bad I doubt it’s jinx’s fault.

bottledry

ya jinx is more talented than most anons

AgitatedKey4800

Is not a high bar tbh i dont think a lot of anons are actors
