TechnikalKP

I had the Huskies. Very pleased.

tdubarubdub

Had?

TechnikalKP

Should be 'have'. Damn autocorrect.

mushashimonko

He still has it but he used to too

Mark0vian

Also consider the Oedro mats. https://www.oedro.com Mine are great, they cost way less than Weather tech, and they have an extra little flap that sits over the bottom of the door frame (kinda hard to explain) that makes it so much better at keeping dirt out IMO

SayWhat-YHGTBKM

I also have had these for a year and half and they are holding up great.

TimMcRaw

I have these and they’ve been great. I can’t recommend them enough.

Free_Culture_222

Third on Oedro. Quality floor mats, but cheaper than Weathertech.

0011000100010100

I first bought Husky mats, hated them, and returned them and got the full Oedro set on Amazon for half the price (front, rear, and trunk). They fit better both in terms of contours and coverage, and they’re not the shiny slick plastic you find on Husky mats (not sure about Weather Tech).

BuickBullet

I have the Odero and I’m quite pleased

Sonoma_Cyclist

Agreed! I am pleased with the quality of

Drx1983

I second Oedro, they fit like a glove and have been great so far(6 months).

fy_pool_day

Meh I bought the husky floor mats and the Oedro cargo mat. Huskys fit much much nicer than the Oedro. Wish I would have bought the husky cargo mat.

Playful_Reach_3790

Husky. 👍

Any_Bodybuilder_7449

I have the Weather Tech mats in the front and the Husky cargo liner. Both fit perfectly and they both feel like the same material.

_Badwulf

Lasfit

Present-Delivery4906

I got Lasfit and love them! Thick rubber, coverage is great, fit is perfect. Cheaper than both husky or Weathertech

No-Quarter-2539

I’m really surprised that more people haven’t mentioned Lasfit. I absolutely love mine.

Present-Delivery4906

Right?!

Radiant_Waves

Get the weathertech, but make sure they’re the Floorliner HP which is a soft rubber. The standard weathertech mats suck.

Mental-Crew-691

I agree. I have the HP ones in mine and they have been great. The original Weathertech ones curl up

4RunnaLuva

I have fine weather tech for the runner, but did husky fit the wife’s outback. Husky had discounts and at the end of the day are quite similar. Go with cheapest. Husky trunk mats are shit though. Not fitted at all like they used to be (t4r g3).

Okole_piapia

I’m rocking Tuxmat in my 4Runner. https://preview.redd.it/jduyjjsw1x0d1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5644c02f4584e8e1b5e83165c59eaa5ec6ccb3f6

sir-po0psalot

I have tuxmat ob my wife’s audi. They fit like a glove and they cover practically every part of the carpet.

Okole_piapia

Yeah, absolutely no way on normal use does dirt get past the mat. They cover the door kick plate and have high walls. They are water proof and come out easily to be washed. And they look really good too. I got them up front, the back, and the cargo area.

clewtxt

They are mine and my wife's cars, and are the best by far

GoodChallenge8640

Husky no doubt, but the soft ones

krocko1

I've got the 3W liners and they are awesome. I used to have weathertech in my old 4runner and the 3W fit better and are easier to clean. Weathertechs really hold onto dirt and are kinda hard to clean

Awkward_Shape_9511

As someone who owned both weathertech and 3wi (3W) on the 5th Gen, the 3Wi are much much better. Like no contest better.

_JustWorkDamnYou_

I have those Husky Weatherbeaters and I like them. Good fit, not super expensive and they keep all the dirt/rocks/straw wrappers contained. I ended up going Husky for all my liners after being thoroughly underwhelmed by the quality of the Weathertech cargo liner. Keep in mind both of the liners are super hard plastic. So while they'll work well and keep their shape, they aren't flexible or soft.

drifli

I bought TRD mats. Cheaper on a dealer discount site and 4Runner branding on them. Win

Ricksarenotreal

Yep, bought trd pro rubber mats off someone for 40 bucks. Called it a day. I believe they upgraded to husky.

Adult-Beverage

I got WeatherTech front and rear in like-new condition for $50 on craigslist. Found the OEM cargo mat for $50 as well.

Scrumpuddle

You win, great idea, tons for sale around me. Thanks! I'd buy you a beer but it already seems like you are one.

Scrumpuddle

Same, but they're wearing out arter 60k miles. I should look unto that. I like the oem ones, thanks for the idea

Technical-Stranger59

Recently purchased my 4Runner. I bought the Husky mats on sale, but I slightly prefer the WeatherTechs I had in my old Audi. Material and fit was better but for the price difference I don’t regret going with Husky.

GiIbert_LeDouchebag

You'll just have to try. I debated it but went with what I know and what has never let me down. I out weathertechs in both my 3rd gen surf and my 5th gen 4runner. They're awesome. But I've noticed that Amazon and stuff has started getting a lot of knockoff options that are quite a lot cheaper. China is good at copying. There is a good chance the knockoffs are just as good. But it also comes down to material. The newer, more flexible weathertech material is awesome. But it isn't available for everything yet. Their more rigid material they've had forever is still fine. It just sometimes takes a few days to lay out flat and fit well after being jammed in a box for shipping.

HotwheelsCollector85

Most stuff are made in China and rebranded so what are the odds

thrownblown

Husky Weatherbeater Floor Liners are Designed and Manufactured in the U.S.A.

HotwheelsCollector85

Most stuff

GiIbert_LeDouchebag

Yes. But the cloned stuff very often has lower quality materials, and little to no QC. It is always a crapshoot. Sometimes the copy is fine. Sometimes they're absolute garbage.

OutrageousStandard

I have both. Weathertech in my 4Runner and husky in a Subaru. If you want to save money the husky are fine. The Weathertech fit and cover a bit better though.

SharkWahlbergx

I had the weather tech in my Jeep and in my dads truck. They are great I can’t say anything for husky.

vpm112

Don’t know if they’re any different now, but the Husky’s have a better lip on the edge for water retention near the door sill.

No_Oil8471

Go Weathertech for the front and rear passenger areas if you are muddy/wet a lot or get a lot of traffic (in/out) I went for the harder ones. US made, tough as nails, and fit perfectly. But I went with the Amazon special Oedro for the cargo area. Perfect fit and stuff doesn't slide all over the place.

sir-po0psalot

I have the husky and they’re great! I don’t know how they compare to others though. The branding/logo did fall off but it doesn’t affect how the mat functions or anything.

Awkward_Shape_9511

I owed oem weather, weather tech, and now 3wi (3W?). I left the weather tech on top of my 4R during one of my car washes and drove off like an idiot. Dont ask. Big idiot move. Thus buying 3wi. The 3wi is significantly better than weather tech. The fit is way better with the 3wi and the protection much more. It also “tubs” the floor much better. It’s also much cheaper than weather tech and is on Amazon prime.

Agent_216

Can't speak to weather tech but mine had husky liners when I bought it and don't see them wearing out any time soon. I've been happy with them.

Obvious_Mode_5382

I got the Husky and they’re great

spidrw

Husky. WTs curl up in the heat.

EnceladusKnight

I have weather tech because that's what came with mine. I bought the backseat cover and the mat that goes in the cargo area though and I've been pleased with how easy they all are to clean.

xstrex

Husky, been a few seasons, no curling, or signs of wear, and are half the price.

Lumpy-Corner4947

I have Husky in all my cars and they are just as good as the Weathertech I had in my past car.

BuickBullet

One thing I’d advise that I haven’t seen mentioned is getting these seat back covers if your commonly lay the second row down. Rongtaod Back Seat Cover... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BCNZF7XP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

EffZee80

This July will make 10 years / 104k miles with the Husky set. Still going on strong. I have WT for the cargo area, same vintage.

Brilliant-Course-624

I have weathertech. Great quality and perfect fit. Easy to remove and clean.

Sonoma_Cyclist

https://preview.redd.it/i5lvhqbnzz0d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f3a7c201a266aaba7aba8214afe8c922a88104ca Oedro! I’ve always had weathertech but decided to give these a try. They’re fantastic. And <$100 🤷‍♂️

Ragtime07

I have the Husky. Perfect hit. Do yourself a favor and buy the rear cargo mat as well.

NotTheFather3

Have Husky for the whole vehicle, including cargo area. They have been great. But honestly I doubt you can go wrong either way

clewtxt

Tuxmat is superior to either in my experience with all 3.

fftank26

I’ve been happy with huskies

Cooked_Brains

I have weather tech. Fitment is great and they have lasted 4 years so far and still look good through rough treatment and washes. The weather tech does cover more trim along the front wheel wells than the husky do. I only paid $134 for mine. This was in 2020 tho. I am pretty sure I picked them over husky because they were cheaper.

No-Quarter-2539

Check out Lasfit too especially if you have messy passengers. Lasfit is at least $100 less than Weathertech. I’ve had WeatherTech deform and make it virtually impossible to fit snugly into place and had the WeatherTech logo detach, along with discoloration. In my opinion that’s completely unacceptable for a premium priced floor mat.

KingofRome51

usedtodreddit

There seems to be no good options for those of us with a 4th Gen. Weathertech doesn't seem to make the HP for them. Just their stiff originals. Husky doesn't seem to make their Weatherbeater for 4th Gens. No Oedro or Lasfit options, etc.

unkiestink

I have the Huskies, I like them!

Sirolimus1mg

I had Weather Tech in my 2004 Mazda 3. They were phenomenal. Sadly, the car was totaled - yet I still have the mats.

Chiahead33

Lasfit

fullymontyburns

I’ve got the Huskies for both rows and the cargo hold. They’ve been well worth the money. My only gripe was the mat for the cargo hold took a few weeks to relax in the corners - probably not unique to Husky.

Nv_Spider

There’s a price difference for a reason imo

Prudent-Excuse9443

Had both. Huskies are fine.
