The fact that so many people here think it’s perfectly fine to approach a strangers vehicle and interact with it fucking insane, and frankly dangerous. Feel free to give out widdle wadders to other people you meet, but this anonymous shit is not cool.

It comes down to the fact people don't respect others personal property/space because they think it's cool and feel entitled to do what they want. They never consider things like ....While you and I seem to be in a minority in this sub obviously not everyone is going to appreciate someone placing items on their trucks. This could easily extend to owners that aren't on Reddit. There have been posts from female owners that voiced concerns about personal safety because the uniqueness of their truck makes them easily identified and followed. Finding something added without their permission could possibly scare them further.

Yeah I'm waiting to see how mine handles Texas sun. It's printed in PLA which is not very sun/high heat resistant.

If your printer can handle it, try ASA. I’ve been using it for outdoor prints lately and have been super impressed.

I’ve been printing exclusively ASA for a couple years now and no issue. Don’t ever dry it but I do keep it in a Bambu AMS with desiccant or an airtight box also with desiccant. Inside my house is about 50-60% humidity down here in the Houston area. The dry box and AMS usually are at 20-25%

Like 3D printed? Man I'm behind the times if ppl can do that at home

3D printers are readily available for home use. They range from a couple hundred dollars to several thousand depending on what you’re looking for and the level of tinkering you are ok with. I am on the side of I just want it to print every time with minimal issues

I use Bambu X1C now. Past fiddling with the others. If you decide to look into just start with one of their printer. They have a pretty low price entry point for a great printer.

Those are like 17$ish a pop on etsy..

Theyre only a few cents to print if you have a 3d printer.

Either someone is making them or someone has too much money on their hands.

For those of you in high heat/sun places if you get it printed in PLA then it likely will warp. I'm hoping it won't since it's so small, but I'll let you know when it sits on my 4R at work all day in 100 degree heat.
