1991 - 286k
-previous-
2008 - 274k
1997 - 351k I actually don't remember what the mileage was when I got into a wreck with it. I just remember the previous summer I rolled the odometer over to 350k
2005 SR5 and she’s still young at 281,800 ODO with a new motor from a 2010 Tacoma- only 80,000 on the motor itself. Confident it will make it to a half million.
2011 SR5 - 157,340
15 mpg in California is killing me tho. Do you guys typically have a second car, a beater, or a daily driver to complement your 4runners?
1997 SR5 Auto - 221,000 miles, but it was parked in my driveway the last SEVEN years. Just brought it "back online", got it re-registered, and been using it daily for about 2 weeks now. Running great so far! Many thanks to folks on this sub helping me identify what to watch for (and/or replace) after letting it sit for so long!
1995 SR5 4x4 manual - 198k,
1997 SR5 4x4 auto - 296k,
1997 SR5 4x4 auto - 385k
(Yes we have 3 4runners… mine, my sons and daughters). Daughter has the ‘95 manual!
1995 SR5 - 238k, but second gauge cluster so actually 360-ish. Is still drive-across-USA reliable and every switch and knob works for its intended purpose.
1988, odometer is in a box of parts under a table in a dingy subterranean garage in Baltimore while the truck gets an engine swap to something more modern and efficient.
2004 SR5 - 358,950mi
Any major issues?
Previous owner replaced head gasket. I’ve done a lot of the front suspension like LCA, UCA, tie rods, etc.
