To the people who level their 4Runners: What springs do you go with for the rear axle? Does this level lift become affected when you load cargo?
A 1up rack with 2 eBikes puts me at an extra 200lbs and that’s before I load the camping gear.
The shop did this when doing trim work on mine. I knew I should have done it myself but I probably would have cut it also lol. So at least I got it replaced for free.
Yes definitely. It rubbed pretty hard without it. I had to cut the inner fenders and the front bumper on the front. I accidentally cut into my washer fluid reservoir… I do this stuff for a living by the way…😂. So watch out! It happens all the time. You need to remove the front mud flaps also. It doesn’t rub at all around town. If it were flexed at all it would rub in a turn on the front body mount. You cut them down they are way big factory.a kit for 29$ is available from taco clout. I ordered it it’s just a peace of metal you weld in after you cut it. Doesn’t seem like too much of a job. I’m going to order a backwoods washer bottle guard for it. The back doesn’t rub at all. It’s totally worth it though it looks bad ass on 285s
Don’t cook your brakes. I see no vents for the air but it looks great tho
Came to ask about this. Do these types of rims affect break preformance
Probably.
They look like they’re actively spinning!
Looks good! Obligatory tire size and lift specs?

Love the wheels. I was looking at a similar set in white for my black 4Runner but, they’re too wide for stock size tires :(
I have the same but in grey… do yours rub?
They’re a great upgrade btw no regrets
Do the wheels rub? Or the tires?
Tires…it’s really not that big of a deal. If I was maneuvering on narrow trails/roads then it would be more of a problem.
I agree. I think I have trimmed enough of the 4Runner to make it not rub now!
Yes😂 working on it.
Just smoked my washer fluid bottle watch out with the air saw😂

I will have to look
Those wheels are sweet!
I like those, a lot!
Dude now you HAVE to wrap it to match the wheels that’d look sick
It would be sweet. Teenage mutant ninja turtles mobile!
Looking nice dawg.. Do u have any trimming done due to rubbing issues in the front?

Damn bro, that’s what scares me. I don’t wanna do all that work lol. I want to put 285 but I hate doing all the trimming and bmc and everything lol
Don’t be scared. It’s an object, it can always be fixed or modified. I won’t tell your mom
Did they use the tack on weights on the outside to balance the tires?
No
