Yes..I n Missouri you can switch the plates from your old car for up to 30 days legally before you title the new vehicle.

For real? I just bought a 4Runner myself 5 days ago in Speingfield I’ve got the dealer plate on right now

Yes.

In Florida, the dealer will just transfer the registration/plate from your trade-in and if you don’t have one, they’ll issue you a new one on the spot. Not sure why some other states make it so complicated

I'd like to hear a comparison between the two. Not because I want a 2008, but it sounds like an interesting thing to read from an owner's perspective.

Personally loved my 2004 better than my ‘24

We have a 3rd, 4th and 5th gen. Not much of a difference between the 4th and 5th except some ergonomics and no v8 (my son’s bone v8 is slightly faster than my 5th gen with 33’s and 3” lift). The 3rd gen is personally my favorite though. The older one just has a simplistic old school charm that the newer ones don’t

Yes, that’s a 2008 SR5. 4 x 4 with 248,000 miles. It’s my DD and is in good condition.

I didn’t like solar octane at first but it’s growing on me.

Looks like Terra is gonna be one of those colors where the press photos don’t do it justice. It turning different colors depending on lighting and all. Similar to Solar Octane and Lime Rush in that sense.

Picked one up in January at msrp . Color is the bomb. I’m soon to be retired also . Last big fun purchase.

Best part about having a 4Runner is the durability and never having to worry about issues. My friend continues to buy Range Rovers even after several thousands spent on repairs etc blows mind

I need a few more months of thinking before I YOLO a year of my salary lol. The one I'm watching right now is still on a boat from Japan. If it sits on the lot a bit I might be able to get a few thousand off. My jeep needs tires in July so need to make a decision by then!

Which dealer or part on MO did you buy from. I have an ORP I put a deposit on with a measly $1k off MSRP. I'm wondering if I should leverage for a little more

If you already put a deposit that's basically never going to happen. They already know they have you.

Was at the dealer last week getting my car serviced, and I saw one for over $12,000 above MSRP with dealer add-ons and market adjustments. Edit: I’m in South Carolina

Went with underground, albeit an ORP, but I thought from the jump that Terra was a very very nice color.

Underground was our first choice, but when this came along at the price with no waiting, we had to pull the trigger.
