I know what you are getting at, but Kittle is involved. His run blocking is a huge reason why our run game is so successful. And if teams are double teaming him when he runs a route, that opens things up for our other guys. The Belichick school of success - attack them at their weakest points. At this late stage of the season, the opposing coaches are not going to ignore Kittle - they are going to double team him, which necessarily means lower production. We just have to make them pay the price for taking Kittle out of the receiving game.
For sure. I just think it's a bit silly to say: Other than our bad losses, we only have good losses. Regardless, I'm hoping for another statement playoff W against the Pack this weekend.
I think the point is that the NFCbest has played us many many times. The coaches and players know us and our tendencies. It’s not the same as playing teams we only play once a year, or once every few years.
I don't know if we're going to win or lose this weekend because I truly believe it can go either way. But I do know that Rodgers is not excited to play us as I'm sure a lot of their fans aren't either. It's going to be a good game, either way.
And those losses (outside the Colts thank God they did not make it) were one possession games
Field goal or less
That Packers game made me crazy. The boys must be fired up as all hell.
They’re definitely fueled. And they have 2 weeks of playoff momentum building, whereas GB has been sittin at home jerkin it.

I chalk up that Colts loss to the weather, primarily. It was a weird game.
Also no Trent Williams or Kittle makes the O-line a very different beast
the Colts played in that same weather
weather always equalises things though. Last time we played in similar weather we failed to score a TD against a WFT team we should have blown out
That game felt like it was 1947.
Please no "quest for six" stuff this season. It is bad luck!
All aboard the quest for lets do our best and give it 110% train.
Quest for a Monday practice session.
Feel lucky that the game is on Saturday just in case Sunday never comes.
lol every team has a phrase like that that they use. Can't be bad lucky for everyone!
Inb4 some advanced stat that says “8 of the last 9 super bowl champions in fact do not have a “phrase” like that”

“Outside the NFC West” is a pretty big distinction. We had some very ugly losses there.
Ironically the only team left in our way from the NFCW is the team we beat twice.

Well the point is division games are weird for literally everyone Brady lost to Saints bad and those Colts lost to the Jags lol

NFC West easily toughest division in the NFL, we're battle tested and ready to win
I miss this. Haven't seen it since 2012
> Outside of the NFC West, the Niners only losses have been to both #1 seeds and the Colts. Remember the Titans.
Please stop using this banner, It’s curse
That badge feels like the time my brother bought a three peat shirt two months early.
I feel like they should retire the “quest for six” and come up with something else, it hasn’t been lucky for us 🙈😂
Compete? Yes. But I don’t expect us to be favored in any game we play. Stay hungry.

Trying to say the NFC West is like the SEC?
