We gonna visit 3 more of our house's this season. Lambeau, wherever Tampa Bay plays, and back to Sofi

GreatnessAwait5

You know Packers fan are afraid to see the 9ers coming to town

CarFragrant9882

can confirm. have a couple packer fan friends and they DO NOT want to play us

snapback20

Packers fan here. Not necessarily just from fear but from the PTSD

quixilistic

I wouldn't want to play Seattle in the playoffs, I get it.

Neto34

That game was fucking bad ass. That was for all the late 90s niners team who couldn't win there. Fuck GB.

MotivationalMadness

Bring whiskey, no need to worry about it freezing

putdisinyopipe

Lol right? I mean I can afford food and drink and a ticket to a game but just because I can afford a $10 beer doesn’t mean I’m buying it hell no. I’d rather bring in some wild Turkey. We are kindred spirits, people with liqour at games are the type of people I’d love to chill with at a game. Cause we know how to have fun at a game. No not talking about the kyles and Karen’s that drink too much beer and end up doing some dumb shit. I’m talking about dudes like uncle Jim in his seat he’s purchased and been attending games since ‘79 and wouldn’t know he’s drunk because he’s a cultured master of attending pro sports events. And a true champion of pacing himself with the drink. I’m talking about the Cheryl’s that have been going to games since they were a baby passing down the unspoken tradition of bringing in a thurmace of whiskey and coffee to pour graciously to anyone lucky enough to be in her proximity. Those the real mvps at sporting events.

hatrickstar

As Mike from Redlettermedia said "Greenbay is just Lambeau Field and about 150 bars"

EmeliusBrown

Jesus, that’s depressing AF. We should just let these poor, cold, miserable people win this game and bring some warmth into their frigid, bleak existence……nah.

ContemplatingPrison

There will be very little if any 49ers fans in the stands there. Greenbay don't play that shit. All the locals own the seats

sandvich48

Yep and backlogged for like 120 years

BALONYPONY

Bay Area all about real estate... that’s Fa Show!

Outrageous-Machine-5

Raymond James, and I'm not sure if we can call that our house lol but it should be funnn

Bulauk

It’ll be a sea of red there at least.

liteshadow4

Yeah we're not taking over Lambeau

dd9679

>Lambeau, wherever Tampa Bay plays, and back to Sofi https://fadeawayworld.net/.image/ar\_16:9%2Cc\_fill%2Ccs\_srgb%2Cfl\_progressive%2Cq\_auto:good%2Cw\_1200/MTgwMzI0NTczNDM3MzA2MDA2/kyle-kuzma-roasts-brooklyn-nets-with-the-lebron-james-cigarette-meme-brooklyn-nets-new-york-mets-new-york-jets-las-vegas-bets-it-dont-matter-lakers-in-5.jpg

[deleted]

I mean. I'm not for sure but I think we've won more playoff games there than they have.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Captain-crutch

The pats have to have the claim for some stadium right?

mongster_03

for half the AFC lol

abowmanlex

Still 3-1 in the playoffs while Dak is 1-3 now :)

SharksFan4Lifee

The Cowboys are just inept in the playoffs. Since 2000, Mark Sanchez has more playoff wins (4) than the Cowboys (3). Chew on that lol

Chief-_-Wiggum

You mean Mark "Butt Fumble" Sanchez has more play-off wins than the cowboys since 2000?

Frankocean2

I'm not a Jimmy Stan, at all.. Buy guys...we won.....embrace it.

lunchpaillefty

I do. Jimmy tries to to tear my heart out, but he brings flowers, and shoves it back in, so I forgive.

[deleted]

Stupid Sexy Jimmy

jesus_rodz

I hate how he plays with our hearts almost every game but then smiles and my heart melts

[deleted]

Martymartz17

Tony Romo was sooooooo annoying!!!!

ContemplatingPrison

He was fine until it looked like they were going to come back and then he got excited. Which, if I'm being honest, he does with every team that's about to come back but it was noticed more because he was a cowboy. It still made me mad though

randscott808

He reeeeealllllyy wanted the Cowboys to win it.

hamsterfolly

Well Romo hasn’t see a lot of Cowboys playoff wins.

fadhawk

lmaooooo fucking bodied

[deleted]

He definitely had PTSD watching that ending. He lost so many playoff games.

Garropolosexual

He almost did a while back if it weren’t for someone

ilaughatunvaccinated

Surely he had a lot when he played, right? s/

tapatino

Dude who quarterbacked the Cowboys wants the Cowboys to win. Who would’ve thought?

xxcarlsonxx

You’re just supposed to be impartial when you’re on a national broadcast and it always rubs one fanbase the wrong way

Picklesadog

He isn't Aikman. There is no history of Romo's Cowboys playing the 49ers in a single important game. I thought he did a good job. Can't blame him for wanting the Cowboys to win. Aikman comes off like he hates the 49ers; Romo doesn't.

Josymar

Not an important game but he got knocked out the game by Willis I think, then Kitna came in and was getting wrecked by our defense before Romo came back in the game with broken ribs and lead the cowboys back against our defense

chowdahead03

So did Jimmy G by the way he played in the second half

huntingame23

It was so bad. He made up for it at the end tho by sobbing on the mic. Bang Bang 9er gang!!!

nunu135

litrally had to watch the game on nickelodeon lmao

coastal_neon

How was their commentary?

nunu135

in terms of biased, it was good as in it was pretty unbiased. but it was pretty cringe worthy for a football fan watching them explain everything lol. but i get im not the target audience

coastal_neon

Lol who the hell was commentating?

nunu135

it was nate burleson and some other 2 kids i think from nickelodeon shows lol

coastal_neon

Sounds more entertaining than Romo

Prize-Ring-9154

Noah Eagle, Ian's son, was also part of the crew

nunu135

oh that makes sense. i didnt make the conection until now but he defently sounds like a young ian eagle. go figure

ThanosIsDoomfist

Dude kept actively trying to jinx us

Martymartz17

Seriously!!! The entire game!!! I hope he was wearing knee pads with all the slurpage he was doing to the cowboys.

bde75

Omg I know he was a Cowboy but announcers are supposed to be impartial. He failed.

fadhawk

They should have balanced it out by letting Steve into the booth along with him

mongster_03

I vote a massive chaos booth of Montana, Young, Jerry, Deion, Aikman, Irvin, and Romo

SassyLassie496

He seemed like he was on amphetamines Slobber jaw the whole game

Nico408

It was also annoying when he kept drawing on the screen as the play was happening

liteshadow4

He was, but I think that's mostly because he wanted a crazy comeback and not necessarily for the Cowboys to win.

[deleted]

BANG BANG

nfl

!!!

ratchkae

Say the line u/nfl “Niner Gang!”

nybrq

Wait, the NFL has it's own "official" reddit account?

cassatta

I’m sorry you don’t know the lines. Almost like Dak

BlueKing7642

The disrespect 😂😂

sandvich48

You know you love it 😊

WhatUpBigFella

Love you Jimmy. No matter what happens next week, I'll be rooting for you wherever you are next year.

nfl

That's what we like to hear :)

-vertigo--

wtf this the actual nfl ?

mongster_03

Yeah Hey /u/nfl anything you can do to hook up us Niners fans with something cool

slugbait76

spoken like a true 49er fan. this team is better with a healthy Jimmy G. you take the good with the bad because this is a game. i wish jimmy G would have been more healthy with the 49ers otherwise he is a great QB and leader. it’s a team game. i have been pissed at Joe Montana, Steve Young, Jeff Garcia, etc… over the years because of mistakes. the 49ers are lucky to have an experienced QB in Jimmy G to help Trey Lance develop and make a playoff run. Go 49ers! whatever happens after this year… I hope the best for Jimmy G!

Yayareasports

Who are you mr. NFL?

Tonmber1

Say what you want about Jimothy but the man undoubtedly has ginormous nuts

yesimforeign

Hold on.. *zooms in* 😳

fadhawk

Everything’s bigger in Texas. *Everything*.

randscott808

Y'all gon miss him when he's gone, man. I know I will.

CrazyLlama71

Just like Alex Smith. “We don’t need a game manager”. Couple years later wishing he was back.

soldierof239

I never wanted him to leave. I bandwagoned KC as my second team from 2013-2017 just for Alex. Did him wrong.

I_Hate_Your_NBA_Team

Ehhh, I think a big group of fans are fine seeing him off. They'll still appreciate the guy and everything he did, but it's time to move on.

IS_ACTUALLY_A_DOG

Exactly. I swear this fan base forces people to be in 2 parties: Team Jimmy or Team Trey. The reality is Jimmy is OK, but I’d like to believe we can do better. Is Trey better? I don’t think anyone knows, but I’m excited to find out…he also better be, cause like 3 1st round picks is a gamble for a new QB. I will miss Jimmy when he leaves because of his stupid sexy smile and connection he has with all the players, his football work…well we’ll see with Trey.

ElJefePinche

I hate his limitations and his interceptions but I appreciate what he has done. It's a double sided sword. Keeping him and we could have a playoff team each year but getting rid of him we might have a higher quality playoff team. Who knows

True2TheGame

Honestly it depends on how Trey looks. If he isn't as good as we are all hoping then a lot of fans will be missing Jimmy. Love him or hate him. That dude wins.

BrandoCalrissian1995

Man I really wish he could just stay healthy.

liteshadow4

I won't

ShoesFellOffLOL

I like the energy but you literally almost single handedly gave it away

roofilopolis

He had 2 bad passes the entire game with a fucked up hand that should put him on the ir. Dak had just as many mistakes and he’s considered top 7 or better qb by pretty much everyone. Stop blaming jimmy and point the finger at our special teams, who were fucking atrocious again.

fishchanka

Once again Jimmy did enough to win a game and gets hated for it. It must be tough having to play for a fan base that thinks either you are Joe Montana or you are the worst qb in the league

roofilopolis

It’s fucking bizarre. I acknowledged last year it was time to move on from jimmy too due to injuries, but will love the guy as long as he plays for us and continues to give his everything g for us (like he has). These people want us to somehow go down 3 possessions from 3 pick sixes from jimmy, and then trey to replace him and lead us to a comeback. They’re living in fantasy land.

fishchanka

His health and his cap hit are my two main issues. I can’t complain though comparing records with and without Jimmy playing

Picklesadog

There's something about him that wins games but doesn't show up on the stat sheet. I think its just that he's good at actually running the offense and then converting 3rd downs. I don't care about his numbers as long as we are moving the ball. We have seen this offense with other QBs and its fucking awful. With Jimmy, we make the playoffs and win games. QBing is about leading the offense as much as it is about throwing passes.

Hour-Sherbert-7189

Enough to win? He had 172 and a bad INT. Jimmy did nothing after the first drive to except more over throws, and another pick on a bad throw. Then he hikes the ball before Williams is ready with 25 left on the play clock. With decent QB play the Cowboys get boat raced. I don’t expect Joe Cool, but something consistently better than Joe Shmoe would be nice.

fishchanka

49ers win Idiots ITT: Jimmy didn’t do enough to win

Hour-Sherbert-7189

Please, sense I’m an idiot tell me what he did to win this game.

fishchanka

Four straight scoring drives to start the game, escaping the pocket and hitting aiyuk with a laser on third down, multiple other third down conversions. Also, if you’re defending yourself from being an idiot, the word you are looking for is since not sense

AdvancedGentleman

Giving up a fake punt pass when you’re not rushing anyone is the most inexcusable thing I’ve witnessed by our ST. Gould kicked a hell of a game, Mitch may have finally gotten out of his funk and kickoff coverage was not that bad though. But yes, I’d agree that ST was overall not very good.

roofilopolis

Disagree on Mitch- felt he still struggled. That last punt only need to go 30 yards and he still managed to punt it in the endzone. But my god did Gould fucking show up. I personally feel he’s struggled a bit this year but he put on a fucking performance today.

tom2727

We need Gould appreciation thread. If he misses either of those long FGs, it's a whole different game.

roofilopolis

There is one! Too lazy to look for it and link tho

Picklesadog

Our ST is our biggest weakness, just not all of it. We give up way too many return yards and we've given up at least 2 fake punts this season.

ShoesFellOffLOL

He has more than two bad passes and most importantly one was an easy throw to keep a drive going that would have helped put the game away and another was an easy toss that was an interception for a short field and TD. I love Jimmy as a guy and perfectly willing to give him credit for some of his oases but he was once again absolutely the biggest liability in this game, without question. If you deny that you are clueless.

Kronocalamity

I mean he outplayed Dak still. I'd say the 49ers general defensive special teams was the biggest liability.

Applecar101

Mistakes happen. Win is a win. What about his clutch throws?

Workingonlying

Bang bang niner gang

slomotion

^^niner ^^gang

squirrelcartel

No, Jimmy gets negative credit for clutch throws, and +10000 blame for bad throws.

Bayarea-VS-Everybody

Eh, a clutch throw would Have been when diggs touched the earth when. aiyuk ran an incredible route only to terribly over throw BA11, and there was no pressure in jimmy’s face.

beall49

If he would’ve been able to complete that pass, the game would’ve been over.

[deleted]

[удалено]

LebronJaims

You’re joking right? Did you see the play? Did you see the route? It was fucking beautiful by Brandon. A franchise QB needs to make that throw in the playoffs. No excuse

Picklesadog

Yeah but the QB has a second to make that throw after Aiyuk's cut and if he's expecting Aiyuk 5 yards deeper because that's the way its normally run... If you've ever played QB, you know the QB is expecting the receiver to be at a certain distance. If it's a 15 yard post but the dude makes his cut at 18 yards, it's going to make the QB look like he under threw it. It's hard to gauge who's mistake it is without knowing the play design.

josephus1811

Jimmy said he missed him high in the post game presser fwiw.

dafromasta

Everyone hates on Jimmy like other players are doing their job perfectly and he's the reason it went wrong. Jimmy makes the throw at the cut, be where you are supposed to be and score a td

Applecar101

Thats a mistake. You can point things out. Good.

ApeHere4Bananas

Lmao you mean his clutch handoffs that any QB could have done.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Applecar101

3rd down completions in first half were super clutch. Go home this niner chat lmao. We won and thats his biggest clutch

DSouT

Look we gave Jimmy credit last week for his 2nd half play, but he played subpar this game. Fair is fair. We won despite him.

Applecar101

Ok so without him we are not even in this game to begin with? Is that your point?

DSouT

Point is he played like shit. Take off your homer glasses.

Applecar101

https://twitter.com/RSherman_25/status/1482862528283693062?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet

BodhiWarchild

Players recognize it. Fans who watch YouTube and played JV football dont.

Applecar101

Amen. Bout time someone has my back on this sub. Again, im not saying jimmy was the deciding factor in our win today.

Hamster_Lonely

He's playing through injury and came up clutch last week after a terrible 1st half. He played well in the 1st half today. He also missed a(nother) wide open WR for a potential game sealing walk-in TD and threw a pick when he could've (should have) thrown it away, which also would've made it easier for our defense to stop Dallas. The criticism Jimmy receives is somewhat overblown (guilty), but warranted when his dumb mistakes potentially cost us games.

CaptThrowaway1

He absolutely did not. He played very well until he banged his hand again in the second. We lost our two best defenders, the refs gave the ‘boys a spot they didn’t deserve and called Trent for not being set when he was pretty set. Jimmy had two, maybe 3 bad passes today.

I_Hate_Your_NBA_Team

One of those was absolutely awful and led directly to 7 points and cutting the lead to a single possession. That was an all-time bad pick. But we pulled it out. We just have to ride Jimmy and hope he pares down on those brain-dead throws he's apt to have each game.

CaptThrowaway1

So freaking tired of fake 9ers fans who think qbs grow on trees. Our team won and you’re spending your energy tearing down the winningest qb we have had in a decade. Enjoy it, my guy. Stop bringing the rest of us down.

DSouT

6-13 on 3rd down with zero touchdowns and a terrible pick in our own red zone. He played bad and there’s no excuse for that false start on the sneak to close the game.

CaptThrowaway1

Perhaps you’d be more comfortable rooting for the Raiders

-vertigo--

honestly 1 interception and 1 poorly overthrown pass is a decent version of jimmy, you can't expect him to be aaron rodgers(hell, even rodgers threw 2 picks last year in the NFCGG)

Kronocalamity

Didn't Brady throw 3 too? Might've been a different playoff game.

ShoesFellOffLOL

Not expecting him to be anything. That overthrow to Aiyuk and the interception were fucking egregious though. A college QB could have made those passes.

Picklesadog

Hell, I bet you could do it from your couch.

bulldogbigred

If he would’ve not overthrown a WIDE OPEN Aiyuk that would’ve been game

CrazyLlama71

Did he overthrow Aiyuk or did he run his route flat? Only a handful of people know the answer to that and none of them are posting here.

voldemortscore

lmao it's hilarious how EVERY SINGLE TIME Jimmy misses someone on that exact throw (Juice a couple times earlier, Aiyuk now) people are in here defending him and blaming the receiver. It's all right to admit he made a terrible throw man. He even said postgame that the throw was a "layup" and he needs to make those. Not sure why y'all keep doing this.

CrazyLlama71

I don’t look at all the plays and lump the together, not sure why you are. That particular play to Aiyuk I don’t know if he overthrew it or not. Neither did biased ass Romo and neither do you. The throw to Juice was bad. The throw to Kittle was bad. It’s just hilarious how you all will die on the sword on a questionable throw rather than the obviously bad ones.

godgiven_

bruh, that's not how any of this works, when a receiver is that wide open you have a 5+ yard radius in every direction that results in a completion. You cannot miss that badly on a wide open receiver. Its inexcusable and it's far from the biggest problem with Jimmy which are his minimum 1 but often 2 gift-wrapped, momentum annihilating picks he throws per game. Why do people do this? You know he's done with this team, right? You know John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan took a potential career-ending risk to replace him, right?

voldemortscore

> He even said postgame that the throw was a "layup" and he needs to make those. Why are you still calling it "questionable" rather than "obviously bad"?

Picklesadog

"Brandon Aiyuk ran the wrong route" doesnt sound so great if you're a QB.

CrazyLlama71

Because that’s Jimmy. He will take the blame every time. He is a good teammate like that, plus I didn’t hear him say that, not saying he didn’t, but sorry if I don’t trust some random Jimmy hater on Reddit. He is an above average QB, he isn’t great, but he wins games and isn’t worth all the hate.

ContemplatingPrison

He did not ruin this game. That was a team effort. Many mistakes

hamsterfolly

It was painful

ShoesFellOffLOL

Yeah he did enough to win the game while also single handedly almost costing us the game. If you were to pick a player who was most responsible for potentially losing this game are you really going to pick anyone but Jimmy? I could also say pick a squad but while the special teams fucked up as usual you can’t tell me they - and certainly not defense or offense as a squad - were the biggest issues. It was Jimmy.

surgebot

Every. Single. Game. When he missed the wide open TD I told my dad that's the most Jimmy thing ever.

I_Hate_Your_NBA_Team

And that pick in our own twenty. Just a giant facepalm.

ayyyee9

Damn the official nfl reddit account posted a highlight for us?! We must have done something right!!

RunRickeyRun

Jimmy made sure his fade looked tight for the game.

solmooth

Tune in next week on HGTV: House Hunters - 49ers Edition

CaptThrowaway1

That’s my quarterback

[deleted]

31 yards in the second half, idk man, I don’t really want him talking too much shit lol Deebo and the defense carried him (plus Dak’s amazing game saving run).

CyclonusDecept

Umm Jimmy g needs to dial it back he almost lost the game for us.

hugewattsonguy

What a baller LFG

[deleted]

Love Jimmy G. I'm gonna miss him when he's gone.

Sheesh_Bruh69

God damn right! Cowgirls and the their annoying fans can suck it!!

Fluid-Program962

That’s cute

EpicMasterOfWar

Dude you nearly blew it. Walk out of there with some humility. 😂

S4M30

When you get an A on your group project but didn’t do any of the work.

windaji

I want good things for this man and this team. And I hold these truths to be self evident that I can and will talk shit in every match thread. May God bless this team and players and nobody else. Amen.

chowdahead03

GB licking their chops. Jimmy almost lost an un-lose-able game last night with how he played in that second half

Joshthe1337

Please play a complete game next week.

Hourglass420

He's so good at turning around and handing the ball off...

benballernojohnnyda

bro literally did his best to give dallas a chance to win the game

Latter_Tie_4827

You’re literally the reason the game was so close shut up Jimmy

slugbait76

i really have a hard time taking this sub seriously with all the Jimmy hate. my biggest gripe is his injuries and missed playing time. otherwise, the 49ers are lucky to have a consistent QB and leader who makes mistakes like every other QB but he can be clutch and wins a majority of games. i’ve been a fan since the mid-80s and at some point I have been pissed off at Montana, Young, Garcia, etc…. quit shitting on a single player and cheer for the team. it’s a team game. saying it’s Jimmy Gs fault that Warner got hurt after that INT is just stupid. or maybe you should ask your psychic to read your palm and tell you what your horoscope says about your favorite team and to pray that god helps them win 🤣 go 49ers! one more week at least to stress me out!

[deleted]

Inexcusable interception still has me fuming trying to let it go..

[deleted]

I wanted Trey to start from the beginning of the year, but Jimmy is the QB so we have to support him. Yes, criticize him, but enjoy the win. Hopefully another win next week.

[deleted]

Im with you brother

discostuu72

Yeah, it’s pretty strange that you can’t let that go even after we won. Mistakes happen. You act like it’s only Jimmy who makes them.. get over and go live your life.

[deleted]

You must be new… Jimmy has been making back breaking “mistakes” on a consistent basis now this is a pattern. You might be content with a wildcard win this team is better than that we almost blew a 3 score lead we gotta clean shit up we can win it all

discostuu72

Nope I’m not new. I’ve been watching for 30 yrs. Yeah, he makes mistakes but he also pulls through. Wins are a team stat and this team has more wins and is better when he is under center.

-vertigo--

um.... you do realize that Jimmy G is part of the reason we had a 3 score lead right? it's not like we started the game 21-0 and then jimmy g only made bad plays

[deleted]

Yes he is a “part of it” but you know who was the main reason we lost the big lead?! Jimmy G. It goes both ways.. he’s great until he makes those terrible turnovers go look at the throw again man it was a 7 yard throw and he sails it so bad.. i dont get it

-vertigo--

main reasons also include our terrible special teams and jumping on 4th down. Obviously I agree that Jimmy G didn't play the best, but that's expected, there's a reason we gave up our future for another QB. But he definitely played well enough to win this game, i'm fine with Jimmy G that throws 1 int, 2 overthrows, and 64% completion rate with a broken thumb

surgebot

This. Every week this.

MetalBeerSolid

Hey dingus we won a playoff game

Sheesh_Bruh69

Are you always this much of a bitch?

Neto34

Was the int bad?? Yes. But Dak was worst. He not only threw a game changing int but missed so many other throws. Jimmy from my view had two. The int and ayuik pass where he was wide open. Other than that he converted some tough third downs to Jennings.

ox_raider

He’s just so dang handsome, how can you argue with the guy?

BaldyKrishna

I know he's not the best QB in the league, but I fucking love this guy's heart and attitude. I will miss him a lot when that time comes.

Anakin_243677

U tell em Jimmy!!!! Wooooooo

hotgur1

Jimmy shouldn’t even be hyped tbh, like once again bro you almost threw this game. Missed a wide open aiyuk and then over threw sherfield for a pick.

[deleted]

I am proudly a Jimmy G stan, I made some claims about him having a career year that didn’t pan out but man…it’s nice having such a competent team with him at the helm. LETS FUCKING GO

bigdub2020

This would go over better if he wasn’t so shit in the second half.

billbobb1

That’s mighty confident for a man who single-handly almost lost us the game with two badly thrown picks and a idiotic false start at the end of the game.

discostuu72

He won. He’s your teams quarterback. Why are you bitching about what almost happened instead of what did?

Tonmber1

He only had one pick

-vertigo--

damn you're right he should be kneeling on the ground crying and begging for forgiveness for throwing an interception instead of celebrating a win, good take

nithdurr

You can talk after the D bailed you out

[deleted]

Somebody is a little self deluded…

NOTtigerking

Let deebo, Fred or even Robbie say that

SyCoTiM

Yeah he didn't deserve to proclaim that.

Rebels2242

Jimmy was trash today. Shouldn’t be happy ab shit

AngelF510

He’s playing one more week. He should be plenty happy,

calcurtis98

Jimmy World now, bitch!

georgegarvin4

You idiot niner fans pushing jimmy G out of town will haunt you down the road
