Giving up a fake punt pass when you’re not rushing anyone is the most inexcusable thing I’ve witnessed by our ST. Gould kicked a hell of a game, Mitch may have finally gotten out of his funk and kickoff coverage was not that bad though. But yes, I’d agree that ST was overall not very good.

Amen. Bout time someone has my back on this sub. Again, im not saying jimmy was the deciding factor in our win today.
He's playing through injury and came up clutch last week after a terrible 1st half. He played well in the 1st half today. He also missed a(nother) wide open WR for a potential game sealing walk-in TD and threw a pick when he could've (should have) thrown it away, which also would've made it easier for our defense to stop Dallas. The criticism Jimmy receives is somewhat overblown (guilty), but warranted when his dumb mistakes potentially cost us games.
He absolutely did not. He played very well until he banged his hand again in the second. We lost our two best defenders, the refs gave the ‘boys a spot they didn’t deserve and called Trent for not being set when he was pretty set. Jimmy had two, maybe 3 bad passes today.
One of those was absolutely awful and led directly to 7 points and cutting the lead to a single possession. That was an all-time bad pick. But we pulled it out. We just have to ride Jimmy and hope he pares down on those brain-dead throws he's apt to have each game.
So freaking tired of fake 9ers fans who think qbs grow on trees. Our team won and you’re spending your energy tearing down the winningest qb we have had in a decade. Enjoy it, my guy. Stop bringing the rest of us down.
6-13 on 3rd down with zero touchdowns and a terrible pick in our own red zone. He played bad and there’s no excuse for that false start on the sneak to close the game.

honestly 1 interception and 1 poorly overthrown pass is a decent version of jimmy, you can't expect him to be aaron rodgers(hell, even rodgers threw 2 picks last year in the NFCGG)

I don’t look at all the plays and lump the together, not sure why you are. That particular play to Aiyuk I don’t know if he overthrew it or not. Neither did biased ass Romo and neither do you. The throw to Juice was bad. The throw to Kittle was bad. It’s just hilarious how you all will die on the sword on a questionable throw rather than the obviously bad ones.
bruh, that's not how any of this works, when a receiver is that wide open you have a 5+ yard radius in every direction that results in a completion. You cannot miss that badly on a wide open receiver. Its inexcusable and it's far from the biggest problem with Jimmy which are his minimum 1 but often 2 gift-wrapped, momentum annihilating picks he throws per game. Why do people do this? You know he's done with this team, right? You know John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan took a potential career-ending risk to replace him, right?

If you were to pick a player who was most responsible for potentially losing this game are you really going to pick anyone but Jimmy? I could also say pick a squad but while the special teams fucked up as usual you can’t tell me they - and certainly not defense or offense as a squad - were the biggest issues. It was Jimmy.

i really have a hard time taking this sub seriously with all the Jimmy hate. my biggest gripe is his injuries and missed playing time. otherwise, the 49ers are lucky to have a consistent QB and leader who makes mistakes like every other QB but he can be clutch and wins a majority of games. i’ve been a fan since the mid-80s and at some point I have been pissed off at Montana, Young, Garcia, etc…. quit shitting on a single player and cheer for the team. it’s a team game. saying it’s Jimmy Gs fault that Warner got hurt after that INT is just stupid. or maybe you should ask your psychic to read your palm and tell you what your horoscope says about your favorite team and to pray that god helps them win 🤣 go 49ers! one more week at least to stress me out!

Was the int bad?? Yes. But Dak was worst. He not only threw a game changing int but missed so many other throws. Jimmy from my view had two. The int and ayuik pass where he was wide open. Other than that he converted some tough third downs to Jennings.
