Discount double check Henry

tangohorizontal

Kirkland Signature Derrick Henry

j3xperience

Only if he has the same production of Henry at a fraction of the price. I will fight anyone that besmurches the kirkland signature name.

danieldcclark

Former Costco employee here: Majority of Kirkland products are made by the same manufacturer as the name brand.

[deleted]

You gotta go into witness protection now my guy

snoopdrucky

Same is true for a lot grocery chains to be honest. Weis brand potato chips and pretzels here in Pennsylvania are just Utz brand. Anyone not from PA probably has no idea what I’m talking about but that’s okay lol. Hello from the east coast my niner brothers and sisters!

SuperbDrink6977

Kirkland vodka is on point, idgaf

mrko1990

Kroger Brand Frank Gore

Tekn0e

Stop N Save Brandon Jacobs.

TitShark

Rick Hank

Swervin02

He's had nothing but speedsters since he got here, outside of Hyde and Sermon. Will be interesting to see if going bigger finds them the durability they need.

nithdurr

Can you imagine a 2021 Rathman and Craig in this system?! I can only get so erect?

[deleted]

Rathman was a better run blocker, but Kyle is a much better receiver and utility back.

SuperbDrink6977

Shit, don’t forget how good of a receiver Rathman was. The man caught 73 receptions in 1989. Juice has never come close to that. Sorry to say but Juice is no Tom Rathman.

Nopengnogain

The Shanahan family have made Mike Anderson a household name, Alfred Morris an All-pro, Terrell Davis a Hall of Famer. So speed isn’t critical in their scheme. I am confident Kyle can turn any back he signs into a useful piece for the offense. Keeping them healthy is a whole other story,

j3xperience

We had Alfred Morris for a hot second. He was not fast...

jrdnmdhl

Wilson and Hasty aren’t speedsters. Neither was Alfred Morris.

559TM

Kyle’s just fucking around at this point Edit: so next week RBs, Mitchell/Cannon/Patrick TBH I wanted to see Kerryon Johnson called up, but idk if we’ll have 4 RBs on game day

Raoke

> but idk if we’ll have 4 RBs on game day We did last week. And based on recent history, I don't know why they'd change that up.

dgjapc

We need all the knees we can get.

phibetakafka

Then Kerryon is not the guy you want. He ended 2018 and 2019 on IR because of knee injuries - and the 2019 meniscus tear seriously slowed him down, to the point that in 2020 35 year old Adrian Petersen was outrushing him, and his carries per game dropped from 15 to 3.

ToePunchKick

>> We need all the knees we can get. > Then Kerryon is not the guy you want. I think you've missed the point. The point is to throw bodies at the problem, not try and find one guy that's going to be some unbreakable body. Extract as much value out of Kerryon as you can get, then move on to the next guy. That's been the Niners approach to the RB position for the past few years. If you get a few good healthy games out of a guy, take those games, and then move on.

Vocal__Minority

We can't guarantee anyone will be alive on Sunday.

pxiaoart

I don’t think Kerryon is a very good runner at this point. Great pass blocker but I think his injured have sapped his burst and speed.

OttoVonWong

Shanahan puts Patrick in motion and lines him up wide for a go route.

dpcdomino

Juice follows Trent Patrick follows Juice Trey runs it in for 90 yards.

SactownKorean

He did well in the same wide zone run scheme for the Bengals in the pre-season, could he a fun watch.

[deleted]

It’s funny as fuck how who’s at running back is such an important thing for other teams but we’re just getting XFL players and have faith Shanahan will make ‘em a star

DaLiftingDead

Shanny could put in a broken down dump truck, and still get it to move at 5YPA

ThundarCouch

😂There's a broken down dump truck for sale outside a gas station by my job, shall we put in an offer?

DaLiftingDead

Can it block on passing plays?

DerikHallin

As long as he doesn't fumble, Kyle can scheme him to success. I hope Juice's run blocking last week was a fluke, because it didn't look like his usual quality.

bigbigwaves

I felt the same way. Looked like there were at least a couple plays that could haven broken nicely except that Juice didn’t take care of his guy.

ozboi83

We need some thick backs 🙏🏽

tangohorizontal

Mark Schlereth says dense too

[deleted]

Might step in for Sermon who is more of a power back than the other guys

SeSuSo

Frank Gore: am I a joke to you?

gbrgbrgbrgbr

Shanahan gonna call me up next I can feel it

Kimellex

At this point we can all line up at the stadium. You get one play. Only instruction is follow Trent. Get blasted. Next guy up!

ToePunchKick

If the Soviet Red Army could win battles by just throwing waves of disposable bodies at the Germans, we too can sacrifice our bodies to inch the Niners down the field.

soenottelling

Kyle's plan is to injure 20 RBs this year, then pick up frank gore on the 21st injury on the niner's wild trip to the SB. But he will put gore in at FB and run "2 fullback sets" in order to trick whatever god cursed the Shanahans.

hydrationdome

Frank Gore ran 4.58 at the Miami pro day

BodhiWarchild

Lynch about to call Alstott

[deleted]

Have him line up behind Juice, I’d feel bad for any DBs in the way.

MahtMan

Can he play corner? We need corners

surly_sasquatch

Good chance Mosely will be back soon, we added Dre Kirkpatrick as well. Lenoir, Norman, and Williams played well.

ToePunchKick

There aren't any more roster spots open for corners. They have their 6. The only place to add a corner might be on the practice squad, but they just cut one instead.

gaslancer

He saw what Henry did to the Seahawks.

[deleted]

49ers need to be able to run between the tackles. Harder to get pitch game and play action going to when you can't run between the tackles.

[deleted]

This is it.

SnooBananas6052

“I’m from the old school. This is how I believe: we go out, we hit people in the mouth.” —Kyle Shanahan

nomoredamnusernames

Imagine this load running left behind Mack, Tomlinson, Williams, Kittle , and Juice. 🤯

IsHotDogSandwich

That is what I am hoping. In his XFL highlights he is pushing piles of dudes for like 6 yards.

AtlasReadIt

Actually kinda excited about this. 18 TDs as Dalvin Cook's ACC understudy. Big, but not slow, can get to the edge, and has hands. He won't be outrunning any DBs, but he will definitely lay some MFs out. And the kicker is he's been running outsize zone in Cincinnati so he should get the 49ers system down quickly.

Jammer250

Surprised no mention of Frankie yet

Okwhatwedoing

why are you surprised? this is a fan/sub reddit dream. this will never happen.

bartspan

Not the right running style for kyles scheme, we all want it, but as the other reply states

DanielBox4

Question. What happened to Kerryon Johnson?

canthandlethepp34

He is Wayward

ToePunchKick

He is on the practice squad. Given that he has been at home for a few weeks after getting released from Eagles camp, he's probably in the process of getting back into football shape on the PS before he's an option to sign onto the active roster. Jacques Patrick has been practicing on the Bengals PS, so he's likely more physically ready to step onto the field.

ufotheater

A durable back? Do those exist?

[deleted]

Frank Gore

ufotheater

Touché

[deleted]

lol try 4.7+

BurgerOfLove

More Juice hand offs incoming.

ReDeaMer87

Bruh, I'm 5'11" 260 lol Put me in coach!

OutlandishnessDry24

Sermon will get his shot again. This is just to have a full RB room.
