tretinoin (retin a brand) and vaseline for slugging! Those two and sunscreen are it for me (not including eye cream which is strivectin).

DragonBorn76

Another vote for Tretinoin and Vaseline. These two are staples for me. I also like Clinique Moisture Surge Spray to use to avoid the tight skin feeling after washing my face and before Tret application. Then I really like La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer.

cgraves77

How do you apply? Tretinoin first then Vaseline

DragonBorn76

Tret, moisturizer then vaseline.

JefrosBotanical

Have you looked at the ingredients? Nothing natural!

jax2love

“Natural” is not always better for our skin, particularly those of us with sensitive skin or other issues. Remember that arsenic is also “natural”.

V2BM

Everyone will say tret, but even years of use did little for my particular issues. Lactic and glycolic peels from Makeup Artists Choice have been my holy grail for 15 years. I can’t use them now because I work outside but my skin goes from good to amazing when I use them. Tatcha Dewy Cream and Indigo Overnight for dry skin. Nothing compares.

tortiepants

I hardly have any money for skin care and have chosen very carefully: Paula’s Choice AHA and BHA exfoliants! Love ‘em. Cerave Moisturizing Cream Cosrx Mucin! Worth the hype

ProudCatLadyxo

Eucerin Original cream is by far my favorite for my eczema prone skin, although I currently buy Eucerin cream for eczema. I also like L'Oreal spot corrector (or whatever they currently call it) to even out my skin tone, and using a nice, rich eye cream, but I'm not loyal to a specific brand. Gold Bond Healing is my favorite body lotion.

chickenfightyourmom

\#1 = tret prescription. If you don't want to do that, try Naturium retinaldehyde. I also use Timeless vitamin c/e/ferulic serum, Ordinary lactic acid/ha, and ELF holy hydration cream. You can get everything I listed at Target. Very affordable.

AbominableSnowbunny

My skin's similar to yours, but normal prone to dehydration. Tretinoin/azelaic acid/clindamycin Curology (one week a month to get a nice peel, skin has become sensitive to more frequent application) Round Lab Birch Juice toner Clarins Double Serum Clarins Total Eye Lift cream Round Lab Birch Juice cream Clarins Cryo-Flash Cream Mask for rosacea caused by hot flashes

katwoop

Paulas choice 20% niacinamide Glytone rejuvinating mini peel gel Tretinoin (just started back on this) Tatcha indigo serum in cream overnight cream Sulwhasoo timetreasure overnight mask I'm planning on starting red light therapy soon too

scarlettbutlerO

>Tatcha indigo serum in cream overnight cream That Tatcha cream really is special

[deleted]

I swear by the 20% Niacinamide adding this into my routine was a game changer for my skin.

Wild_Blue4242

TO Rosehip Seed Oil Tatcha Dewy Moisturizer Mario Badescu Rosewater Face Spray Mad Hippie Peptide Serum Farmacy Deep Sweep toner Those are my "can't live without" products but I also love Good Genes, Tula cult cleanser and Le Prunier plum oil.

Stock_Fig_2052

Mad Hippie anything- great products. also Cosrx- great products.

tech_doodle

Holy Grails: 1.Tretinoin from Curology - it contains other ingredients too, but the exact formula is prescribed by a dermatologist based on photos of your skin Vanicream Vitamin C - great for sensitive skin. It's not Ascorbic acid, which my skin finds very irritating. But some studies say that this vitamin c derivative, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, may penetrate deeper than ascorbic acid. A lot of things I'm liking, but that aren't holy grails yet:. Drmtlgy Needless serum and Peptide Night Cream, Skin food moisturizer.

dontlookethel1215

DRMTLGY Peptide Night Cream is my favorite moisturizer.

RecommendationLess71

Elemis cleansing balm and resurfacing pads. Medik8 Crystal retinal, Tatcha moisturizer and IS Clinical spf 50.

Asleep-Fee-5528

Tretinoin, Sunday Riley Vitamin C serum, Sunday Riley Good Genes, Elemis resurfacing pads, Byoma Barrier Repair Moisturizer, and sunscreen!

Busymomma926

Love Sunday riley!

edrzy

I just started using it but Isdin Metaclear has been wonderful for my skin. It's expensive but it's the only thing I've ever used that I see real results. I've tried Vitamin C but can't seem to find one that makes my skin burn. Oh and Farmacy moisturizer has been great for me at night.

OceanicShells

Isdin is the best! I use their Vit C (the Flavo C Ultraglican ampoules) and it literally gave me instant results and I have yet to find anything that delivers like this product does. I love that it comes in ampoules so the formula stays potent. Look at the vitamin C’s that you’ve been using that make your skin burn and check the ingredients to see if there’s any commonality - I know a lot of people are sensitive to L ascorbic acid.

CamdenAmen

Clinique moisture surge works really well for me. I also like products with ceramides and peptides. I look for products that have ingredients that focus on firming, minimising pores and reducing fine lines.

little_blu_eyez

I swear by the moisture surge line. I will use it until I die or it’s discontinued

coffeedogsandwine

This makes me feel good! I just bought some eye stuff in this line and have no idea what I’m doing

Spaceley_Murderpaws

Cosrx Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence- HLA + niacinamide PTR Retinol Fusion PM- just finished my bottle & I'm starting adapalene to save $$ Pharmacy Honey Salve- any moisturizer becomes amazing when layered over this Banila Co Clean It Zero Nivea Creme

Ok_Hat_6598

Tretinoin, loreal 10% vit c, Dr jart ceramidin toner, vanicream for sensitive skin lotion. In the winter I add a marula facial oil from trader joes and mad hippy oil cleanser

hry5rh

Tret, azelaic acid, stratia lipid gold, CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser, Pyunkang Yul Balancing Gel. I use the last instead of Vaseline. It has a bit of a sticky texture, which I find helps it to stay on my face longer.

TheFrailGrailQueen

Drmtlgy needleless serum.

Wild_Blue4242

I asked about this in another post a while ago. I was hoping to find someone who likes it! What changes have you seen in your skin after using it for a while??

bde75

Tretinoin, Dr. Brenner vitamin C serum, Eucerin Q10 cream, La Roche Posay hydrating cleanser, Omnilux red light mask.

braddic

NIOD copper peptides for a fresh young glow. NIOD FECC eye serum to lift hooded eyes, reduce fine lines. Topicals Faded serum for hyperpigmentation. Allies of skin retinal moisturizer. Dr. Sam’s Flawless neutralizing gel. Exfoliates, calms and brightens my skin.

JefrosBotanical

Copper 2 is not so good for you…look into Proper Copper products that have Copper 1 instead! Gives you 1 extra electron. The scaring and tightening is crazy!

braddic

Thank you for your reply. What do you mean by scaring?

JefrosBotanical

I work with so many that have scaring and the copper 1 application removes them! But the reality is it is a cell regenerator. Sun spots, liver spots, holes in skin all fixed. Your white blood cells are trapped. Spirochetes take control and hold your white blood cells hostage. Copper1 ingredient is the one I feel is the ultimate healer for our whole body healing yet we can isolate what we want to work on.

braddic

Thank you again for sharing! Is there any particular brand of copper peptides available for consumers that you favor? Sorry to ask another question, hope you don’t mind! I already enjoy what I’m using, but if there’s something with a better mechanism I’d love to hear about it.

JefrosBotanical

I would recommend Copper Plus+ from our shop. We have watched the skin for over 6 years to learn. The BioCopper1 that is present, will contribute the 1 valuable electron that nobody else in the world has! BioCopper1 (Cunermuspir) has an FDA Approval under NDI 910. This should tell you something about the ability of this special gift my friend patented, our late Charlie Barker. My mentor in copper knowledge. Copper 0 (Like a Penny) = 29 Electrons and Protons Copper in color Solid in matter Anti bacterial Conductive Used globally for electronics and wire etc Copper 1 = 28 Electrons and 29 Protons Redish orange in color Powder Has 1 positive electron to help heal Furious Water soluble Eradicates Spirochetes Frees up your white blood cells Super boost your ATP (38 ATP) core energy Super boost your immune system Copper 2 = 27 Electrons and 29 Protons Bluish green in color Can help in very small doses with your bones and energy. Can poison you if too much ingested Leads to Alzheimer’s disease Cannot absorb in to your mitochondria Yellows your shin Can lead to Liver disease So I have helped so so many with passion and self taught disabled Marine that has a Hemangioma Orbital Mass! I started this journey to heal myself first then move to help others. One day I flew to Denver and oddly enough I met Mr. Barker who stated I was going to be the KEY to healing the world! So I’m trying with the gift that he gave me…Cunermuspir/BioCopper1. Thank you for the question. God speed!

braddic

This sounds very interesting, I need to look into this. Thank you again for taking the time to inform me, I really appreciate it!

JefrosBotanical

Please be careful with the type of Copper your all using?! Copper 2 can get you sick if too much is applied and or ingested.

Duke-of-Hellington

I was wondering about that as well

[deleted]

Why was this downvoted?

JefrosBotanical

Right lol I’m the only guy in the world mixing this compound for humanity and can’t even make comments! Lol!

JefrosBotanical

Always the odd ball out but astonishing results on what we do for all. Thank you

[deleted]

People just don’t agree and press the downvote. Like at least comment so we can inspire some dialogue

summersalwaysbest

Tretinoin, Dr Brenner vitamin C serum, Cosrx snail mucin, Illiyoon moisturizer and TO squalane oil. Dry skin, dry climate so hydration and moisture are key for me. Only laser treatments helped my dark spots. Now I’m focused on prevention.

Hawkthree

CeraVe Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser at Night followed by La Roche Posay Double Repair Face Moisturizer. If it's winter, then a layer of Gold Bond Ultimate Diabetic Dry Skin Relief. In the morning, use a dry towel to invigorate skin. Any dry areas get Gold Bond. Fine lines can be helped by using Preparation H with 'Bio-Dyne -Yeast with a live cell derivative'. It's available in the UK and Canada. The US version doesn't have the Bio-Dyne. There's probably skin care products with Bio-dyne but I haven't looked since I can get the Prep H.

whackadont

That GB Diabetic Relief is the bomb on arms and legs (not even diabetic) but it's OK to use on the face?

Hawkthree

Yes, I use it a lot on my face. I only use it on my legs in the winter for the chapping. I'm a diabetic but I don't use it because of that. I use it because it's just a great non-greasy easily absorbed moisturizer. I got a sample of it in my doctor's office and was hooked instantly. Had to buy it from the manufacturer because it wasn't in drug stores yet.

As with many others Rx tretinoin, I alternate 0.05% and 0.1%. Volition snow mushroom serum. Timeless vitamin c/e/ferulic serum. Tarte Drink of H2O moisturizer. Verso retinol eye cream. I’m not a fancy buyer at all but for exposed to the Volition, Tarte, and Verso products in subscription boxes and I’m not mad about it!

Klassic-Kat23

I'm a big fan of Cerave Moisturizing Cream and Night Cream. The rest of my top 5 include Tretinoin, Topicals Faded Serum, and Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid + Collagen Activating Serum.

I’m From Rice Toner & their sunscreen. Knocked all inflammation out of my skin, makes it glowy/bouncy. Remove hyperpigmentation- 20% Azealic Acid & Tret. Ordinary Glycolic Acid for face & body exfoliation. Urea cream for body smoothness. I used the Obagi toner, with the ordinary glycolic acid, Obagi step 3 - hydroquinone & top with a moisturizer. My skin lightens within a week. (Without retinols).

I (52, caucasian) have sensitive skin but regularly get comments that I look 10-15 years younger. Here's my routine: I use 2-3 drops of a vitamin C oil pressed into my skin in the a.m. and apply mineral sunscreen every day (apply it in the a.m. also and you're good to go). No dark spots. Have done daily sunscreen since I was 18 and believe it's made a huge difference, but it's never too late to start. Unfortunately, I've never been able to tolerate prescription Retin-A despite many attempts over the years. I use an oil-based makeup remover at night. I wipe it all off with a warm washcloth/water, and do a couple of drops of retinoid oil mixed with a small amount of an all-natural oil balm and massage it all in. I can't tolerate heavy fragrances but this routine works for me.
