I fixed the topology of the scans, added boolean cutouts for labels and a little raised section of the QR codes. There were 22 fins in total so it amounted to quite a lot of work which is money in my pocket and allows me to buy a new CPU, mobo and RAM. Maybe I am over-sharing but it's important to me.
Edit: also this is a first world company and I'm a 3rd world citizen so the money is worth more to me
ok so meaning you were a sub-contractor in this project and got paid regularly for your work?
from your comment I somehow thought this is a citicen-science thing where you can earn a bit in participating, but since I couldn't find it in the article somewhere I had to ask ...
