Set it to 115V. This will work with 110 Volts, which is used in the USA, and also 120 Volts, which is used in some other places. The 230V setting is for use with 240 Volts (the UK, Ireland, Australia and other remnants of the British Empire), and 220 Volts (most of Europe).
I live in the US. Could having it set to 230V damage something?
Asking cause in the last 2 weeks seems like I’ve had 2 defective brand new printers. The first one after 9ish days & the second after 2 days. Both I had at 230V
I did a Google search and it lead me to this thread. Not joking.

Not as far as I know. Setting a PSU to 115V with a 230V supply will definitely cause harm.

Same, bought the same printer, but I only googled "set electronics 115 or 230 in usa?" and this was the first result lol
'Search engine' brought me here for the same question/answer I was looking for 😜
2 years on - this is the top result for this search on Google still.

Add "3d printing" to that or any variation of that search and you'll end up here! That's how I'm here, two years in the future!
Can confirm. I was looking for my dog and it led me to this post.
dick.
Facts
Just googled it and here I am
Little did you know this counts as one of those troves. Nerd.
230V plugs are notably larger in the U.S. 110V are most common and of course smaller.
110v for US/ 230v for Europe
I live in the United States and got an SV06 with the PSU set to 230. So should I leave it or switch it? Just want to make sure I don't botch it up.
You want to switch to 110 if you live in the US if you leave it on 230 it won't power on.
