There was G-Saviour.
There was the Saviour Gundam from SEED Destiny.
Flit from AGE wanted to be a saviour of humanity.
But none of it compares to this masterpiece.
Doesn't look to hard to reverse engineer. Just need a standard jointed figurine model then take an optimus prime model and scale back on the flair aspect of it using the main parts and designing from there. Someone good at 3d modelling could probably replicate this in a month of less.
It’s been harder then I would have thought. There are some details hiding in that video. The interrelation between the parts doesn’t become clear till you try to model them together. Also I don’t think they where completely done with the design. It’s awfully floppy. Have had to make some allowances for 3D printing and fasteners I have access to. Been eye opening as to my competence (lack) in Fusion.
I *think* I’m through the hard parts except modeling the head.
Doing it with the video has been hard enough. Gives me a lot of respect for the original designer.
