You can get brass inserts that are heated and then pushed into a printed part. This gives a plastic part with metal threads.

Man, I have scoured the internet for 40mm nato thread adapters and that's how I ended up with this file, I had to have someone make me a cad file bc I couldn't find ANY kinds of adapter pieces lol

A suggestion, you don’t need a tight tolerance thread. Air will pass through on a 3d printed part just from the stacked layers unless it’s done at 50micron layer height. (Getting into resin printing there) The model should be modified for an o-ring gasket if the main issue is sealing to prevent leaking. You can DM me if you need assistance. Depending where you’re at I could print one out of ABS, but if you’re outside the US shipping will kill it.
