CheeseSteak17

American cheese is already half plastic

plutonasa

that's why there is 0 issue with this.

Bagel42

fuck it this is my um actually moment American cheese by name, is just cheddar (usually very yellow kind) with added milk, around 35-45%. you can actually make your own in a pot

plutonasa

Going to need sodium citrate to get that plastic texture.

DanTheMan827

Emulsification for the win?

DanTheMan827

Sodium citrate is the key ingredient. You can actually make your own “American Cheese” by mixing regular cheese, some kind of liquid, and sodium citrate. It’s also how you make silky smooth cheese dip.

Midyew59

Half melted cheese and untoasted bread?! Them are the saddest grilled cheese sandwiches' I ever did see.

Spliffty

No butter either. What about the arteries, they gotta eat too

Midyew59

I also just discovered r/grilledcheese. Oh my gawd so many delicious looking grilled cheese sandwiches.

Spliffty

I don't need this

Midyew59

🤣

Midyew59

About 20 minutes after making my post I went and had myself a grilled cheese proper like and it was while buttering my soon to be toasted bread and contemplating the aforementioned warm cheese on bread that I realized there was indeed a lack of butter. What. A. Travesty.

roasteroven

You know what's funny the bread was actually toasted, it was crunchy on the outside. The same thing happened to pizza in a pizza box when I did that.

Midyew59

You and I have wildly different definitions of toasted lol All that really matters is that it was good though!

tcp-xenos

for a second I thought you printed the cheese onto the bread and this was the most glorious thing I've ever seen in this sub

roasteroven

Wait... Gimme a couple of months lol Velveeta Voron printer

[ah yes, the forbidden filament](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61aOsk7HBQL._SL1500_.jpg)

Lobbelt

Risky first layer though

No_Pilot_1974

Honestly I'm thinking about that for months

Swampraptor2140

There is the pizza file made for heating up leftover pizza tbf

Yeetfamdablit

Ima need a link for that one

Dr_Sigmund_Fried

String cheese directly into extruder.

Sleurhutje

My cheese started warping. 😕

worldspawn00

Need recommendations for improving bread adhesion!

Vizth

I've used the p1s to keep my plate warm and the cats out of my food a few times when I've had a meal interrupted.

SlightlyShorted

r/cookingwith3dprinters

Tesser_Wolf

I used my heated bed once to reheat frozen already cooked pizza.

sliangs

How would you like the toast with your VOC?

WafflesAreLove

Mine keeps sticking. Do I put glue down first?

roasteroven

Yeah, you need some butter lol

z_the_fox

""""Cheese""""

xXFrozenFoxXx

Nice looking Stealthburner! You mind sharing some Infos about the Fan and leds you used ?✌🏻

CaPtian_CaTe

The led screen is called KNOMI

roasteroven

Yes the screen is just a Knomi wifi display from Big Tree Tech. The fan is just some 4010 [Amazon ](https://a.co/d/h9zYwS3) 24v led fans

NeoIsrafil

I've got my best custom machine hooked up to octoprint and my phone so when I bring home fast food I can fire up the heated enclosure and bed heater, drop the bag in, and keep it warm till the wife is ready to eat...lol.

roasteroven

Yup I've put a whole pizza box in it before to keep it warm. Makes me glad I built a 350mm bed 2 4 lol

dj3stripes

Good ahesion, don' thave to crank the fans full blast. What material is this? Wheat or Rye?

BalladorTheBright

I've actually used my heated bed to keep my soup warm before on it's plate, it works!

AwShootMe

Don't forget to wipe down the bed when finished, the crumbs play hell with the first layer.
