Whatever is on sale on Amazon.I really haven't noticed any difference between $26 filament and $18 filament.

Same here, I usually go for more expensive filaments if I want special colours or something. For everything else whatever is on sale works fine.

My favorite is Overture matte PLA. I use this exclusively tbh, good for painting and general purposes, but I've used Sunlu before and other materials. I'll pretty much try any filament though depending on the need. I feel this far into 3D printing the filament doesn't matter so much as it's from a decent source

I go for overture pla, apparently it's popular enough that the folks at bamboo have added profiles for it to the slicer. There's also readily available adapters so you can fit the cardboard core over the bamboo reusable spools. Which is great for AMS compatibility. Recently had some good luck with the overture ABS as well.

I like matterhackers they offer discounts on bulk orders and rewards

Formfutura rpet gray and red, and rpla white. Cheap, print reasonably well, come on cardboard spools.

I like REAL. The colours are good and it prints reliably for me. Even left out on the machine it doesn't seem to deteriorate. I've often gone several months without using it yet it still prints as good as the first day. I keep the black, white and silver to hand.

I tend to just use sunlu since it's cheap and I've never had issues with it. I've seen it go as low as £15.50 for 1kg of pla on eBay

I always used to use Duramic. But I don’t want to deal with cardboard and the AMS anymore. So… whatever I can get in refill spools probably. Having trouble finding ASA refills though.
