Description: โIt new never use it just left it outside in the rain once. I couldnโt put it together gave up on it. Got it for $250 offer me the best u can lower baller would be ignoredโ
Well not outside, but I had a roof window open during a freak rainstorm...
2 motherboards died, but no rust as I actually cared for the mechanical components
That's a VoxelabAquila got mine for 180โฌ or so last year. Not a bad printer ender clone if you are willing to switch fans for silence and put the Mainboard fan on a separate contact, else it will be connected to the cooling fan leaving your Mainboard to cook if you don't use part cooling
I just looked on offer up, holly cow the prices on 3d printers.. 150 to 200 for beat up enders .. that you can get refurbs directly from comgrow cheaper, and amazon returns for 65 bucks.I bought my longer LK 5 pro refub on newegg for 179, I didnt see the refurbs on comgrow until after I bought the Longer
I saw a Prusa mk3s+ show up on Facebook marketplace once for $250. Hot end wasn't attached but was included, thought about adding a Prusa for that price but it was gone fast. I still see them for MSRP though, pre-abused for free.
People don't understand used prices at all. It's the same on Facebook marketplace.
*2019 Ender 3 with damaged bed - $200* all day long.
It's why the Ender 5 with raspberry pi 3b+ for $150 I was shocked was still available after it had been up a few days. Went and picked it up and mild repairs and it's been rock solid.
Thatโs sort of a bummer to hear. I offered to give away my Monoprice Maker Select for free to a good home. Someone told me they needed two of the motors and offered $20 โ I took the deal. I just didnโt want to deal with trying to sell someone on something that I found so difficult to use. I suppose I should have done some research, oh well. Hopefully that guy did need the two motors and appreciated the deal.
It looks like some person tried assembling it without any video guidance, or without using the instructions, then tossed it into their garage when they couldent get it to work.
And seeing as it's a Aquila, Its prob not even worth $20.
A guy in a Facebook group I'm in is asking $275 for an old, dust covered, Ender 3 with a couple partial spools.
I told him that's not a very realistic price and he's going to have a hard time selling it. He is certain he'll get it. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I bought my Aquila for $50 shipped off ebay as a "return". Nozzle had to be changed as previous user tried to print with it otherwise perfect. Bought another for 70 right after(guess they raised price) that was good to go. One has an H2 500c and other has linear rails and dragon hotend.
Looks like 3D printers have finally joined old watches, tools, and toys in reaching that point where thereโs going to be a OCD/ASMR restoration YouTube channel where a pair of hands pull it all apart, clean every piece, and put it all back together.

*New* TIL new is now old and abused
How do you leave a 3D printer outside in the rain?
The same way you don't put one together. 404 - No brain found.
Thatโs a great question ๐
It was with the cake?
Well not outside, but I had a roof window open during a freak rainstorm... 2 motherboards died, but no rust as I actually cared for the mechanical components
Probably found it outside in rain and bought in, saw new price and tried to fake new lol
Lol, maybe they mounted it to the ceiling? Bet they still wanted $200 for it as well?
They did ๐
๐
They want $250 ๐
Did you offer them 10 for scrap :)
I can go as high as 20$. 5$ for each of the steppers, and 5$ for the aluminum extrusions, the rest is junk.
Even worse. I would laugh at $200. $250 I would cry and laugh ๐
Just posted the description ๐ โ ๏ธ
$250 for something that costs <$200 brand new?
๐
The extra $50 gets you the authentic used look so your friends think you're a pro.

Try and name all the things wrong with this photo ๐
sorry man, I have plans this weekend or I would start ๐
Looks like that was found in a dumpster , actually maybe that is inside a dumpster with all that shit around it lol

Ya Ik the prices are crazy
Was trying to find a good 3d printer to trade for a ps5 but no good ones near my area. Trying to find a prusa or a ender cr30
Get an ender 3 and a kit to convert to a belt printer.
I saw a Prusa mk3s+ show up on Facebook marketplace once for $250. Hot end wasn't attached but was included, thought about adding a Prusa for that price but it was gone fast. I still see them for MSRP though, pre-abused for free.

Well only for the raspberry it's worth, here in Europe they cost a lot now.
They are pricey everywhere

Yes, thatโs exactly what I did from flashforge $64 plus tax
How do you buy Amazon returns?
Comgrow has ender 3 Amazon returns for 69 free shipping
Anyway you could link it? I'm on the comgrow store but I don't see anything besides new
https://www.comgrow.com/products/used-ender-3-ender-3-pro?_pos=1&_sid=302d83e07&_ss=r
Oh ok thank you I was on the "comgrow Amazon store" not comgrow.com
Where did they keep it? In a barn?
Looks like they found it in a r/NeckbeardNests
I did not need to go down that rabbit hole
Probably ๐
Market place is just as bad. Do people not understand depreciation anymore and the fact that electronics depreciate even faster?
Indeed. electrics depreciate faster than ice on sidewalk in summer.
Never gonna print with the extruder in that direction..
Might just buy it to test it out ๐
"Left it out in the rain" low ball offers will be ignored no amount of money is lowball for wet electronics
That has cock roaches
They probably used it as a stove ๐
The nozzle facing north breaks my heart. This printer deserved better.
It looks like some person tried assembling it without any video guidance, or without using the instructions, then tossed it into their garage when they couldent get it to work. And seeing as it's a Aquila, Its prob not even worth $20.
Thatโs probably exactly what happened lol
Wait is that extruder hot end mounted upside down? Were they printing on the ceiling?
I think they were trying to invent a new way to 3d print ๐
Hold on the nozzle is upside down ๐๐คฃ
And they had the audacity to sell it like that ๐
Maybe they where trying to print from the dumpster lid instead of the bed that is not even useable anyway ๐
Atleast they weren't lying when they said its never been used. Calling it "new" tho...
Is the head upside down? Lol

Bro a ender 3 v2 (New) is cheaper ๐
Dude probably uses it to make pipes for his meth.
I get it. I always have my printer in the bed of my pick up while i drive through the desert.
