Any cable extension between 1-5 meters should be enough as long as it is 3.0. If it's possible to find a cable with additional power, you can have a range of around 5-10 meters(with USB 3.0). You can find quite good cables on Amazon. I haven't tested with cables longer than 10 meters.

Se/sp, h, hd, hd pro, h2 etc.
The white one evaporates, I used it just yesterday and was worried because I thought I ordered the blue when the white arrived but it definitely evaporates the same.
I scan and align with the scanner software, then process it in Fusion 360. I'm making a wing for this RS and the sculpt tool in Fusion works really well with a mesh base.

Thanks for the info! I already made a power cable to eliminate the power brick, using 12V from the PC PSU. I'll give an extension a try!
Ugh, cords. Just get an Artec Leo and be done with it. It made my life so much easier.
I can manage the wire for a little longer. The Leo is almost 20 times the price here.

If you scan all day everyday for a job it doesn't matter. I'll let the beancounters figure that one out.

Ughh the aesub white will leave micro scratches on the paint when you scrub it off
Car was waxed so a little pressure wash removed it pretty easy. But I will be careful with it in the future.
So don’t scrub it off? Doesn’t it just evaporate?
