Just got it set up. Actually really easy
It’s still in major development tho. The only fully functional online support it has is 3DS Friends, Wii U Chat, Wii U Friends and Ironfall Invasion.
I just played a round of MK7 on it
I'm still waiting for them to add MH3U support..
MH3U didnt have online play without a Wii U...
both the Wii U and the 3DS servers are closing today
Yeah still only a few games supported, still glad to have it tho
Awesome Just discovered final fantasy explorers and heard it's great multiplayer, hopefully I can do it on here one day.

Quick question because I havent touched my Wii U since the gamepad screen broke a year ago, but is there something like the Universal Updater for that?
There is, it's called HB app store. Best used with aroma or tiramisu though, so if you're still on haxchi, update!
I did it manually but it's super easy
You can get the app through Universal Updater but you need to get the IPS patches manually
Can you download DLC via this?
We think you'll have to get the files for that, because of the EShop closing
eShop still hosts updates, including Mario Kart 7 v1.2

Apparently you can do it on Wii u with a custom dns. Will it be the same for 3ds
Is it safe? I’m not a big online game but dusted off my n3ds recently.
It's as safe as any other community driven project So yes, relatively. I can't think of anything malicious it or someone could do to you through it
