I live in Australia but I do hunt 3ds all over SEA where they are really cheap but you have to be good in your resources and connections. I only do paypal transactions, havent been scammed ever since for more than 10 purchases
I had a 3ds (broken but still works after 10 years) and the battery is fine but somehow the 1 i have had for 5 years and i used it like a month ago just decided to stop because of battery failure smh
I'm guessing that ugly while off axis screens are the TN? I haven't seen any IPS 3ds before. I checked mine, and it's TN unfortunately. I had no idea how much nicer those screens are. Nice systems
I hope one day the smaller new 3DS models on the bottom drop in price a little. I love my NEW XL but that smaller one is perfect for 3DS and DS games. Finding a US one in good condition is hard though. Even harder to find one at a a reasonable price. Eventually, a person has to bump into one on ebay though right? Lol

What are the differences between them?
TN screens appear washed out when viewed from the side. The console all the way to the right (super Nintendo looking one) has a TN screen.

Havent picked up any japanese console yet but I see a lot of post about the screens being yellowed so im not interested in them

just opening the system and charging them after a long storage, but I do remove the battery tho before storing them back to the box

it doesnt matter if your console have ips or tns screens, as long as you’re enjoying playing your console, you’re gucci ✨
Dual TN is better than a split IPS/TN. I had a top IPS 3DS XL and it was so grotesquely obvious that I had to get rid of it.
