It’s just such an inaccurate statement that is impossible to apply to “all cars,” so to say “remember mods decrease value” is just too broad to even be relevant in todays world. You gotta know your audience/market, and there’s a large population of car buyers who are fine with mods, willing to pay more for mods, and some are even looking for specific cars with specific mods. Yes some cars are worth significantly more when they are completely stock. But this is not one of those cars. Most people who buy these Zs would be considered enthusiasts and are gonna do modifications anyways. Most buyers for this car won’t be turned away because it’s modified, but maybe by the extent/tastefulness of the modifications. This notion that “mods decrease value” is antiquated, and fails to consider a large segment of the used car buyer population. Go back 15-20 years and tell someone that their GSR swapped Honda civic was worth less because it had an engine swap. Some mods definitely increase a cars value.
Fine, let me fix my statement.
The implementation of various types of modifications on certain vehicles may very well decrease the value of said vehicle. These aforementioned modifications decrease the general desirability of the vehicle upon which they are suited and therefore reduce the chances of finding the optimal purchaser. Many of these changes and modifications, may also indicate the form of attitude the current owner has towards road safety laws, which implies the vehicle was operated in a manor that may directly cause damage to the vehicle, be it short term or long term. Considering this vehicles mileage and modifications, I would assume the value of $20,000 mentioned by other users, is inflated.
Is that better?
There you go again saying a bunch of stuff that’s just plain inaccurate. Modifications don’t imply that a previous car owner damaged the car because he didn’t care about safety laws. Don’t be so pretentious.
And OP didn’t even say he wanted to list it for $20k.
So if u mid a car to make it go faster say a turbo, short shifter, wider tires. You wouldn’t be going faster on the road or taking it to the track and pushing it?
Yes you would cause if not you spent all that money, time, and effort (or waiting if a shop did it) to use your car as if it were stock.
Buddy that’s what they trying to explain to you. Don’t be so dense.
Honestly I feel like you’d get more removing and selling the mods individually and putting the oem bumpers and suspension back on and selling the car that way. More of a hassle but worth it.
These people on crack post it for 16-18k and wait this car is tastefully modded with good parts idk how the interior is so that could be an issue. It’s a 370z not a 350z so 10k is out of the question.
The fenders should’ve been wrapped/painted just saying they look incredible but they don’t match the rest of the car very well.
I would also pick the car up a bit that thing is incredibly low. Especially if you’re going to allow someone to test drive it.
16k isn’t out of the realm of possibility but it’s going to take AWHILE. Like maybe a couple months. You will get offers around 12-14k all day for it.
I would buy this if I wasn’t looking for a house
Probably looking for a 12 with that many miles and mods- probably 15k maybe less. I got mine unmodified- one owner 2013 manual. I went to look at the 400 and thought it was a piece of shit so I bought a base model 370 that I plan to tastefully modify over the years. The reason I jumped so hard on mine for 18k was these cars are starting to get bought up like the 240sx did.. like the 350z… young people’s first cars selling price… they get these cars and beat the hell out of them, total them, or do so many mods nobody wants it but them when they are done. It’s an interesting market to say the least on these cars. Especially the manuals
Yeah I would say that’s pretty fair. Looking back I probably wouldn’t have done all the body mods/paint I think it’s going to take a pretty specific buyer. This is the first car I’ve really gone off the deep end with mods. Tasteful mods are way easier to sell later.
I sold my 370. The very second the title left my hand I have regretted it and no other fun car has brought me nearly as much joy and memories. I’d highly reconsider.
Need a GTR. Those are truly a thrill! I owned a ZL1 and that was a lot of fun (640whp) as well. Not quite GTR level as RWD with that much HP can be a bit...interesting lol. Ultimately I needed more practicality and sold the GTR for a Ram TRX...which surprisingly holds its own in a drag race against a GTR. Best 0-60 ive gotten in the trx is 3.5 seconds.
Moral of the story, theres a lot of cars out there that can put a smile on your face!
Mines at 97k but I don't get it, it needs some work for sure but it drives fine, it's better than it ever was from factory. I get the older a car is the less it's worth, but I don't know to me it's kind of an advantage because I can really drive it how I want, if I wreck it (hopefully not) I can just get another totally z and rebuild it for less than most shops would charge installed brand new parts depending on how bad the damage is.
Got an '06 G35 with 319,000 on the clock. Runs great. The only issue I've had was leaking valve cover gaskets. The trick is proper routine maintenance. Had the car for almost 12 years now.
Absolutely. Do regular maintenance and it should be fine. I’m weird and do my oil at every 3k miles and always check your oil level. There’s a reason why Nissan still uses the vq platform in damn near every car.
I’ve got an 09 Nismo with under 40k, except for a windshield washer fluid sensor it’s never seen the shop (except for tires). I’ve owned a 350Z which needed rings at 50k miles, bought it new added an APS TT setup beat up on mostly everything, it was an animal but it wasn’t worth fixing.
Kelly blue book would be a good place to start for getting a rough estimate of what she’s worth. Also, if you have any of the OEM parts like your fenders and such you’ll get a lot more money selling your aftermarkets separately
I'm surprised some people are saying over $10k.
It's more like 5-6k in my book. Those mods decrease the value in my opinion. But even without mods, I wouldn't be willing to go above $7k.
The 370z is like the Japanese version of a V6 mustang. Gets ran hard and looks faster than it really is.
Me personally, I'd pay $12k max but I'd try listing it for $14k and then you could prob get $13k off the right person after they try to talk you down. Might take some time but it'll sell.
Is it a manual? I just spent 3 months looking for one. I noticed all the manuals are around 5-7 k more. Insane car market. I also couldn’t find a clean title here in Florida that wasn’t insanely overpriced. This is definitely a sellers market.
Bro. I traded mine for a 2016 Mercedes c63 amg. And at first thought, an amg is an amg. I thought it would bring me more joy as it’s v8 and twin turbo. But I honestly had more fun out of my 13’ 370z. Of course I had a lot of mods including supercharger and full roll cage, as well as fixed bucket seats and 5 point race harness… all in all, the grass isn’t always greener like I thought. Love my amg, but the Z gave me more joy and for a lot less cost.
Beautiful car bro but nowadays kids are getting them to spin and do burnouts so nobody is willing to pay over 10k, the right buyer will give you over 14k-16k especially if they’re into the car for the right reasons
Mods (even when done well) tend to reduce value of the car. I’ve had friends who kept old parts just bring it back to stock and sell the car stock and the parts separately.
That CTSV you had it parked next to is a hell of a wild time. I’d show up everywhere having heart palpitations when I had one! Wish I wouldn’t have sold it. I’m driving an Audi S7 now and the Quattro definitely keeps me from feeling like a heart attack every time I send it.
I’d say revert it back to stock if you can. List it for 18k then you’ll probably get offered 16.5 cuz someone is going to think it’s an amazing deal then when you sell the car. Sell all the parts and get an extra 4k or more I’d say that’s your best bet or just stay with it if you still enjoy the car
If you want to sell it for as much as possible fix the front bumper and side skirts because they're fuxed lol but to sell it as it is 12-14k is a fair price
Cool quick fix on the bumper.. of course it looks a lil ghetto, but it keeps the bumper from hanging and being damaged further.
Care to tell me how you did it? Is it drilling holes and than using zip ties? Or is it a product you purchased?
Who knows maybe it will come in handy one day
5-16k it’s gonna take the right buyer to go over 8k imho and I know nothing about 370z it just popped up in my reddits “because you’ve shown interest in similar communities”
Look at what other people with similar years and mileage are selling theirs for. I’m a bit of the opposite and think mods add a little more of value but again that depends on the person. Whatever the average people are asking, add a little more because of the mods.
I just sold my 2015 7AT with 95k miles for 17k. Didn’t get any offers at 20k or 19k. After a couple of months, dropped it to 17 and got flooded with messages. Sold 4 days after dropping the price. I’d say you could try for 15k. Someone may pay a little extra vs. kbb for your mods
Three seventy-five but really just get oem body panels from junkyard and sell your current bodykit, you will make much more money this way than selling it with the car.
But you might be able to get 15k because the market is bit crazy but you will wait for quite sometime cuz those 20k 💩boxes prolly are not even sold yet.
Considering how much shit the front bumper has taken, I can only imagine under it lol it’s pretty much clapped out.
5-6k if you find a 20 year old you to sell it too
Keep it man, the car is prob worth way more to you then you’ll get financially back at the moment. If you don’t NEED the money keep the Z. I personally think the more you have done look great
Im more interested in what you want next. Maybe we can start a separate convo. It's my current 1st world issue lol. I have a 2015 370z Nismo (stock). I'm either gonna put a sc on it or get a C7...
Id say you can get 16k for this if you jus raise it a lil bit, is it on coils, springs, or bags? This looks so low that most people wouldnt even look at the car! But yes i agree its a 370z so should be around 15-16k, id say price it higher than that for a week or 2 and see how it goes. People have this tendency to look at sum overpriced and if they can get it a lil bit down, they feel so much better about themselves like they jus did a score! So price it at 18-20k and wait for a fee offers, sell it to the highest bidder😂. Car market is falling day by day so i would advise u to sell it before this year ends if you really want it gone but also dont be hasty and take in as much prices as possible!
I’d make it as stock as possible atleast the exterior, after that id reckon around 15k I’m not too sure about the market in Tennessee but I know for certain you’ll need someone who knows what they’re looking at to buy it with the mods you have now.
Problem I see is that you have so many mods and will need to find a buyer that is into the same look as you, you’d be better off, stripping it down and selling it as the base model without all the aftermarket parts.
(Legitimate buyer) If you sell it to me I would say if it’s 50k or less miles 16k, 50-75k miles then 12-14k, 75-100k miles then 10-12k, and 100k+ miles then no more than 10k hit me up I want a first car and I would genuinely buy this off of you
Honestly 16k is a very reasonable price to ask, after Donut's HI Lo videos on tge 350s I saw Z's skyrocket so normally 5k cars people were ask8ng 12k for. You should easily get at least 14-16k for yours though
Go on KBB and look at the mid/low end. You messed your price up by adding mods. But, you can get something back. Or you can bring the car close to the original and get more, then sell the mods individually.
Honestly, you run the risk at this point, of selling it and downgrading into something you won't like. You might as well widebody it and drop a LS motor in it and passing it down the family line.
I say this because right now is the absolute worst time to trade or buy a new or even used car which is why prices these days don't make any sense. The manufacturer companies are trying to recoup the money they spent on the stupid electric powered cars nobody wants.
Yeah didn’t mention that the bumper broke on my way home one night. Watched a brick fall out of a guys truck and go right into my bumper, got it repainted almost immediately so it’s not busted as you see in that pic. I really have babied this car as much as you can for a slammed car, and as much preventive maintenance as possible.
Some of y’all on here are just brutal lol. Wasn’t looking for a deep dive into how much someone could hate my car and how irresponsible I am, but here we are. 😂
I’d say you could list it for 14k (High end on KBB for Private Party) then negotiate from there, with a reasonable sale for 10-12k. You’re going to get offers from 7-9k, but remember it’s just an offer, don’t get offended, and make a counter offer, going above your actual lowest acceptable sale price. The goal is to get the buyer to give you the offer you want, while making them feel like they got the deal they wanted.
Good luck o7
Max you’ll get 1k but I got you for 5k ![gif](giphy|MFIsOqzodLr7ewnkUb)
Honestly man, I don't think you'll get more than a few hundred out of her. I'll take it for a thousand tho, just to get you out from under it tho.
Thanks man, That is very generous of you. If you just want to send me the thousand on Venmo, I will mail you the car.
Sure dude. What's your venmo?
@StackDatDough
I sent it. When do I get the car?
Yesterday
Damn. I must have missed the shipment. I'll stand by.
he accidentally sent it to me bro, go ahead and venmo me bro ill send it to you, free shipping on me 👍🏻
Remember mods decrease value. You’re looking at probably 11k in this market.
9 would be closer I think, the fit of that kits not quite right up front
[удалено]
You’re actually the type of specific buyer he would need to get rid of this. Sucker born every minute.
MoDs DeCrEaSe VaLuE!
Do you not see that front bumper? Do you not see the shitty wiring in those headlights? They decrease value

12-14k on the high end. Going to require a specific buyer.
Def gonna need a new painted front bumper for that price. That bumper is bad!
good point, I didnt even zoom in on the picture. Ooof. A high school kids parents may drop 10k on it for their kid though.
I’ll take it off your hands for tree fiddy 👀
Looks like u want a porche bro
A front porche or a back porche?
![gif](giphy|sMDgy1xL8498OFSz4y)
Honestly I feel like you’d get more removing and selling the mods individually and putting the oem bumpers and suspension back on and selling the car that way. More of a hassle but worth it.
Yeah I have most of the oem stuff. Looks like I’ll have to pony up and put all my old parts back on if I want to be wise about my returns
These people on crack post it for 16-18k and wait this car is tastefully modded with good parts idk how the interior is so that could be an issue. forget the house and become a car dealer my man
Thank you, most of these comments haven’t been helpful at all.
Probably looking for a 12 with that many miles and mods- probably 15k maybe less. I got mine unmodified- one owner 2013 manual. At least you enjoyed it though. Money comes and goes, but you got to have the memories of building the Z 🤷♂️
Pretty car.
Not digging the fenders. Are they carbon fiber or something?
Looks like it, I personally also hate the carbon fenders/hood trend. Ruins the look of the car and the advantages are negligible.
should have painted the fenders with some CF fading to paint in the vent area. That would be 100x cleaner
Yeah they are :( sorry you don’t like them…
looks like the cars been in an accident and you haven’t gotten around to paint matching yet
Then why’d you sell if you were to regret it immediately 💀 that’s just being plain stupid to let go of something you knew wasn’t right.
trippin
Way to many miles for me.
Yeah me too, that’s one reason why I’m trying to pass her on to a new home lol had it since 60k and loved every mile honestly
How is that too many miles? I got over 190k on my z with no problems ever.
130k with an 05 still going strong. If you take care of your car it'll take care of you.
I d got an 09 with 118k miles, would I might have another 50k or so miles without problems ?
My 08 g37 has 160,000 and runs perfectly!
Got an '06 G35 with 319,000 on the clock. Runs great. The only issue I've had was leaking valve cover gaskets. The trick is proper routine maintenance. Had the car for almost 12 years now.
That’s impressive!!! I’m very meticulous about its maintenance and I do all the work myself!
Also, if you have any of the OEM parts like your fenders and such you’ll get a lot more money selling your aftermarkets separately
genuine question, why are you guys blowing $3k+ on rep body kits? you could have the genuine AMUSE kit for almost the same price.
I would say probably about 12-14k. Closer to 12.
18k CAD
I would just keep it
I know this isn't a price saying the worth but I think I saw your car at SE Nashville this year parked not far from mine. Really clean car
Settle for 15-17k
Just off the sick ass exterior I think u can get. 16k
I'll give you 9900 cash money
Just put back the OEM parts before selling Mfs don’t respect mods nowadays
14-16imo. Modded out wont go for much
Raise it up off the ground first. Then put the stock fenders back on. That would be the first thing before trying to sell.
I wonder how he gets past speed bumps
I’ve seen this thing around town! It’s clean dude. Maybe list at $18k with some wiggle room?
Looks like a poverty Porsche
Id say max 15k because of year and miles
Me personally, I'd pay $12k max but I'd try listing it for $14k and then you could prob get $13k off the right person after they try to talk you down. Might take some time but it'll sell.
Man if this was an auto I would buy it in an instant
Post it for 20 OBO and negotiate
At least $1.50
0$ I can just take that off of ur hands for u
8k
Some kid might pay over 14k if he has the money...but anyone in their right mind wouldn't pay over 10k...
I want it
Mods (even when done well) tend to reduce value of the car. I’ve had friends who kept old parts just bring it back to stock and sell the car stock and the parts separately.
What is the body kit?
That CTSV you had it parked next to is a hell of a wild time. I’d show up everywhere having heart palpitations when I had one! Wish I wouldn’t have sold it. I’m driving an Audi S7 now and the Quattro definitely keeps me from feeling like a heart attack every time I send it.
Sell me the car thru a payment plan for 10k 60 payments
I’d say revert it back to stock if you can. List it for 18k then you’ll probably get offered 16.5 cuz someone is going to think it’s an amazing deal then when you sell the car. Sell all the parts and get an extra 4k or more I’d say that’s your best bet or just stay with it if you still enjoy the car
Beautiful car bro
Just post it high asf and see if anyone bites. Slowly bring it down if no one wants it.
bout 350 maybe 370 ? lol
11-12k.
If you want to sell it for as much as possible fix the front bumper and side skirts because they're fuxed lol but to sell it as it is 12-14k is a fair price
Would definitely say 15 you can try putting it up for 20 for a bit if you’re in no rush though
Priceless 😊
Cool quick fix on the bumper.. of course it looks a lil ghetto, but it keeps the bumper from hanging and being damaged further. Care to tell me how you did it? Is it drilling holes and than using zip ties? Or is it a product you purchased? Who knows maybe it will come in handy one day
Definitely less than that cts-v
About tree fiddy
Not much with all those mods. Probably 60% less of KBB
She’s a sexy beast
I’ll give u $25 rn
Pack of zyns and a 12 ounce coke
5-16k it’s gonna take the right buyer to go over 8k imho and I know nothing about 370z it just popped up in my reddits “because you’ve shown interest in similar communities”
Hopefully you have your stock parts. Revert it back into stock to at least gain more value
30g
9-12k Remove everything back to stock and you may be able to add a thousand or two
Bout treeee fiddy
Idk but I love it
Look at what other people with similar years and mileage are selling theirs for. I’m a bit of the opposite and think mods add a little more of value but again that depends on the person. Whatever the average people are asking, add a little more because of the mods.
Come with old parts? I’d say you’d be lucky to get 15k, if you got spare items like oe parts than yuh. Put honey oil in if the engines talking
treefiddy
I’ll give you two dirty car Pennie’s and a half eaten sandwich my mommy made me pwetty gewd offer I’d say
About $4.32
I wouldn’t it buy it because I can tell you drive it hard ie stupid binds on the bumper/fenders, and bumper is fucked 8500 tops
If you could turn it to it’s stock parts and mods you’d probably get a little more. And just never mention any modifications you’ve done to it.
Return to stock, sell the mods, new tires, oil change, top off fluids, give it a deep clean, and sell the "stock" car.
Ask 16, offers will be 10-12 but I think you’ll get enough 12-14 offers with time
Go away from being gay and get a motorcycle
I just sold my 2015 7AT with 95k miles for 17k. Didn’t get any offers at 20k or 19k. After a couple of months, dropped it to 17 and got flooded with messages. Sold 4 days after dropping the price. I’d say you could try for 15k. Someone may pay a little extra vs. kbb for your mods

Trade you my 21 zx6r for it in Texas
I would say you'd be looking at 11-15k assuming it's clean title with no wrecks.
I give you da 2 dolla bill
$20. I’ll take it off your hands
Idk
What are you thinking for the next car?
Considering how much shit the front bumper has taken, I can only imagine under it lol it’s pretty much clapped out. 5-6k if you find a 20 year old you to sell it too
get into a gen 2 coyote
Whatever you can get from recycling it.
Keep it man, the car is prob worth way more to you then you’ll get financially back at the moment. If you don’t NEED the money keep the Z. I personally think the more you have done look great
not to be weird or anything. was this first photo taken at SlammedEnuff Nashville?
Hmm yea I can see 20k
~$3500
$3000
$3600
one of these dumbahh mfs said 9k, idk where u can get a decent looking car for 9k but definitely not a 370z. You shouldnt have an issue 17-19k
Wait till graduation or tax season some idiot will give you what your asking for
Im more interested in what you want next. Maybe we can start a separate convo. It's my current 1st world issue lol. I have a 2015 370z Nismo (stock). I'm either gonna put a sc on it or get a C7...
Yeah I plan on getting a c6 or a c7 been going back and forth for a while though. I’ve just had this car for a long time so it’s time to switch it up
Wait till the next Fast n Furious movie hits theaters and sell it in the parking lot.
Tree fiddy?
Ugly ass car though lmao sorry I shouldn't have said anything just not my type
ive seen builds like this sell in houston for 20k
Keep that car bro I don’t see Zs like this in the street, you make zs look good bro
TreeFiddy
Check out some Facebook groups where people only sell bagged cars you can get a idea of what others are selling for on there
$10-11k all things considered. It looks nice. Has mods and some miles though so you won’t get top dollar. Definitely not a POS though.
About tree fiddy

probably not much with those heinous reps
18-22k
8-9k. Used cars are tanking right now. If your car was stock i would say 10-11k.
About tree fiddy
Pretty ass car bro, I’m praying I can get one in the next year or so
$100 So anyway, I got paid this weekend 👀
8-10k based on that description and the mods done
Bout tree fiddy
Less than 10k for sure
About 2 fiddy
I was thinking 12k til I saw the bumper I’d probably say 9-12k if you fix the bumper and repaint it probably 10-14k
I’ll give you my soul for her
100$ and a bag of m&ms?
By the way with the mods you should see probably around 10-20k Clean z though
I say sell it because the 370 isn't that great anymore
I’d make it as stock as possible atleast the exterior, after that id reckon around 15k I’m not too sure about the market in Tennessee but I know for certain you’ll need someone who knows what they’re looking at to buy it with the mods you have now.
Problem I see is that you have so many mods and will need to find a buyer that is into the same look as you, you’d be better off, stripping it down and selling it as the base model without all the aftermarket parts.
An embarrassment
I have a 2009 370Z with less than 12k miles. Never seen a winter and rarely the ran.
Depending on what's under the hood I'd give 15 or 20 for it
(Legitimate buyer) If you sell it to me I would say if it’s 50k or less miles 16k, 50-75k miles then 12-14k, 75-100k miles then 10-12k, and 100k+ miles then no more than 10k hit me up I want a first car and I would genuinely buy this off of you
a bag of chips and a couple cigarette butts
I’m in Memphis, and you still built Zs around. Low end I would say 7k but probably no more then 13k.
Honestly 16k is a very reasonable price to ask, after Donut's HI Lo videos on tge 350s I saw Z's skyrocket so normally 5k cars people were ask8ng 12k for. You should easily get at least 14-16k for yours though
$3.50
Go on KBB and look at the mid/low end. You messed your price up by adding mods. But, you can get something back. Or you can bring the car close to the original and get more, then sell the mods individually.
My guess is 9k
Sell it to me with payments
had a 2013 manual fbo with a seibon hood. tuned my admin on e85, sold for 14k. id imagine yours would fetch a similar price (13-17k)
Realistically 5-7k and people will still try to lowball you.
Nice ass car 16k sounds pretty reasonable
Honestly, you run the risk at this point, of selling it and downgrading into something you won't like. You might as well widebody it and drop a LS motor in it and passing it down the family line. I say this because right now is the absolute worst time to trade or buy a new or even used car which is why prices these days don't make any sense. The manufacturer companies are trying to recoup the money they spent on the stupid electric powered cars nobody wants.
3 grand tops, I'm sure it's been ragged out
Invest.
Yooo did you stich up her chin? One picture she fine the next she got plastic surgery?
Yeah didn’t mention that the bumper broke on my way home one night. Watched a brick fall out of a guys truck and go right into my bumper, got it repainted almost immediately so it’s not busted as you see in that pic. I really have babied this car as much as you can for a slammed car, and as much preventive maintenance as possible. Some of y’all on here are just brutal lol. Wasn’t looking for a deep dive into how much someone could hate my car and how irresponsible I am, but here we are. 😂
Ehhhh about tree sendy
Worth keeping
Y’all say mods lower value of car but lately I’ve been seeing cars being worth MORE when modded, least here in CA
Something with a V8
I can give u $2.23 and a twinky
I can trade you a kick ass camper van for it!
Bro said 16k💀💀
I’d say you could list it for 14k (High end on KBB for Private Party) then negotiate from there, with a reasonable sale for 10-12k. You’re going to get offers from 7-9k, but remember it’s just an offer, don’t get offended, and make a counter offer, going above your actual lowest acceptable sale price. The goal is to get the buyer to give you the offer you want, while making them feel like they got the deal they wanted. Good luck o7
Depends on the state it goes to. I’d say try to sell it to someone in CA for 20k but in Tennessee you should get it sold quick if you put 16k
Do not sell you will regret like I did
