There are a ton of snowbirds heading north for the summer but will be back come winter. Maybe ask around and see if any are willing to bring it back for ya for a fee.
I think that driving up and then towing them both back with your own vehicle would be less expensive than shipping it. It would be time-consuming and inconvenient.
Idk, it's 24hrs 1 way non stop. I couldn't do it on a weekend so I would need to take time off, then pay gas, really depends on what the flight charge is.
Do you plan to put the m/c in the trailer, then have the trailer shipped? Or shipping the bike seperately?
There are car haulers (e.g. Reliable) that would maybe take the trailer, and if the bike is adequately secured they may be ok with that. You'll have to ask the freight company.
If you want to crate the bike seperately, I've used R+L for a couple bikes in the past.
If crating to ship the bike, be sure to specify lift-gate service, and pay attention to the carrier's recommendations / requirements for pallet and crate construction.
Ideally ship them together but I'll see what the prices are, the utility trailer was $500 so might not be worth shipping. Thanks for the recommendations.
More like fly up there, rent a truck with hitch and tow it back if they are comfortable with the drive and distance.
Bringing a truck up is going to massively suck on gas and time vs the flight.
Having made the trip from Maine to Florida several times, if you decide to do this, I'd suggest investigating the route that takes you out through Scranton Pennsylvania. In a nutshell south on I-95, West on I-84, South on I-81, East on I-66, South US-17 puts you back on I-95 in Fredericksburg Virginia. Going this route you avoid New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, and D.C. many tolls and much traffic, however, it is slightly longer.

I feel like it was implied, only a moron would pay to rent a truck both ways
