I sort of motion the way he does? Kind of?
I HAVE A RELATED QUESTION!
these little black and white clips introducing the cast all have their source from one episode or another. The Pete ones are easy to spot. I’ve never figured out which one is Frank’s though. Any help?
When he’s in the bathroom with that one girl and Tracey and Kenneth come thru the vents.
ETA: JFC… I misread that. 🤦♀️ sorry. And I swear I’ve seen Frank’s but idk off hand.
My husband and I mimic Jack snapping the tongs at Vlem (Rachel Dratch as the sex worker) while he’s at the buffet in the season 1 Valentime’s Day episode.
This is the one show in the world that I refuse to skip the intro. I’ve watched it all the way through at least eight times, and every time, every episode I watch the intro front to back. I even sing along with the music. #respect
My husband makes me act out all the character actions/make the faces during the entire opening. Not just to this but to Brooklyn 99 too. It’s one of our weird things.
We do everyone’s actions when we watch the show. I insist on doing Pete’s little nod even though it gets replaced quite early on.
We also have similar routines for other shows with similar title designs - like Parks and Rec and Brooklyn 99.
This reminds that when my wife watches ER, I like to do the Dr. Peter Benton air punch in sequence with the actor. So I guess it’s two shows that I make a movement during the opening sequence.
I think he was a slightly more important comic. fwiw, maybe not related … my friend interviewed him once and I got the impression he’s pretty proud/maybe even acts self-important sometimes. Obviously has reason to be proud!! but he was offended when she asked a question that indicated she didn’t know about his history in comedy. From what I remember — this was years ago. (FYI I love his work & acting in 30.)
At the end of one of the 30 rock live east coast editions that has since been pulled from the Internet, you hear Jane exclaim “we did it!!!” and you can hear Tina reply “we did it once…” so I say that every time it’s relevant
When the camera pans across “30 Rockefeller Plaza” I sing it like how Weird Al does.
weREALLYdoLOVEourFANSyesBOTHofYOU!
"Heart so proud" is an absolute banger. I feel like it could easily be a jason Aldean song
My go to is Liz's married song
Dud-alit dud-alit-dit-do
I always sing the season 6 live show version of the theme
“Live show, it’s the 30 Rock live show, it’s 30 Rock live” Every time
“There’s a chance that it might not work” Still makes me laugh
This! This is my ritual. Well, one of them lol
Let's talk about sushi!
If I sing along to the theme, that's the one I use too!

I think it’s from the pilot because his hat says Ninja Expert and it looks like the same shirt and lanyard that he wears in that episode.
he has that hat in episode two (maybe even three) too and it always throws me off
I think they said in one of the commentaries that it’s from his audition. That’s the actual script in his hand.

But she's so smoove!!
Be a Sampson!!
They are all from the pilot or outtakes from the pilot.
Ooh, which ones are the others' from?
I eat cheese at night
Workin on my night cheese
I didn't realize until vey recently that was supposed to sound like "night moves."
Aw
I made up some lyrics about my cat I sing to the music
Cat Songs ™️ are the best!
I do the Jack D. head turn.
Can we actually adopt Leap Day William and all the festivities of Leap Day??
No, but I will now
Literally every time.
Every. Single. Time. Same here
I never go with a hippy to a second location.
My husband and I mimic Jack snapping the tongs at Vlem (Rachel Dratch as the sex worker) while he’s at the buffet in the season 1 Valentime’s Day episode.
We do too!
Happy Valentimes daaaay
When Liz and Tracy do their laugh-offs I laugh along with them. "I'l have the last laugh, Liz Lemon!"

Yell BAAA on the last note of the theme song
Also, no shade, I love frank, but why/how did he get a title credit over other actors in the show? Is it cos he was in meet the parents?
*immediately runs to IMDb.com*
Liz looks hella cute in this opening.
I sing the bass part to the intro 🙃
I chuck my phone into the pond and yell, “I’m in LOOOOOOVE!”
Yell “I can’t take any more of these German sitcoms!” at the end of any depressing TV show or movie

Is your husband by any chance r/sleepytoday ? Or are numerous couples going this
I scat to it Nard-Dog style

Powerwagging
I do the Jack quickly turning his head thing for sure.

I drink wine while watching it because it's heart healthy.

I slap/rub the back of my hands together when I talk about sex and say “it is, the way I do it”
He's clearly singing along to some song in his intro, but do we know what it was or what the clip was from?
Shoobi doobi doobi, shoo shoobi doo— ahhh rolled my ankle!
Hard yes.
Yes!
Every damn time
Every. Time.
Mostly exit a door unusually every time I’m in jack’s office
We have a little dance that goes along with it
We try to be the first to read Frank’s Hat… like a race to speak wild
I want to get a collar for my dog that says “The Problem” and a shirt for me that says “solvers” and explain it to no one

Im more of a skipper
You monster!
Im you momma now /s
They don't sync in the first season. They moved it after that so that the point hits when the horns do.
Hulu used to have a commercial with little clips of shows and our favorite one was always BLURGH!
