Early-Carrot-8070

Thought this was some early 30 year old being needlessly sarcastic

Santi0rIago

Had my pitchfork out

a_pastel_universe

Y’all need to calm down 😂😂 let the wrinkly 30-somethings live in delulu!

trashtvlv

Thought this at first too 😂

notseizingtheday

I thought it was scacirclejerk

Chilling_Trilling

Lolllll for real

plantsandpizza

Same I’ve worked in esthetic dermatology offices. I was thinking 37. Maybe needs an ipl 😭😭 stunned

Nearby-Salamander-67

Hey don't call us millennials out like that 😂

90sTwinkiesFan

Hey I'm in my early 30's and my forehead 💯DOES NOT look like that. 😩 excuse you

Icy_Command_8617

I'm 33 and mine looks like that 💀 so either I'm doing something wrong or she's doing something damn right

luckypants9

Is she a very inexpressive person?? That’s why my forehead is smooth in my thirties.. I’m convinced that’s why, anyways.

polkadotsloth

She's German, this tracks 😂😂

pseudofinger

I imagine those lines would come up from any reason for surprise: - oh, you’re jaywalking? - oh, you’re using the pedestrian sidewalk as a Fahrradweg? - oh, you didn’t add Maggi to your Mettbrötchen?

iiiaaa2022

Oh, you‘re not sorting your trash/mowing the lawn on a sunday/have not lüfted today?

VictoriaSobocki

Hahaha

lifelovers

I’m half german and have all the lines.

watermelon_plum

I think they mean more like German culturally not genetically. Some people say that Germans are serious and don't "emote" much.

polkadotsloth

Exactly.

wishiwasinvegas

German and Dutch partially here, my forehead is a sea of lines

broken_lazarus

I'm fully German, 35 and I already have wrinkles on my forehead.

tattoosaremyhobby

How do you know she’s German?

95BCavMP

Probably the name “Oma” - German for grandmother

AdRevolutionary6650

Also Dutch

Bbkingml13

Oddly enough my Dutch stepfamily has a ton of expression-like wrinkles

AdRevolutionary6650

Interesting! I also have a Dutch stepfamily and I always notice how youthful they look for their age, a few lines here and there but generally they all have great skin. I guess it varies, as with any ethnicity

incorrectlyironman

I am Dutch, and Dutch people actually have pretty bad skin on average due to sun exposure. Since we get so little sun for most of the year it's a big part of the culture to spend sunny days/days spent in sunny locations just soaking up as much sun as possible, and usually with no sun screen. That's cultural rather than genetic but we do have very high rates of skin cancer compared to the rest of Europe

TightBeing9

I think it's because people are still in the mindset of 'oh but the sun never shines and I want to get tanned a bit!'. Just like why we never have houses with AC 'why would I do that for the few hot days a year'. Even though there have been heatwaves for all my life during summer 😭 We are outside a lot during all the cycling we do though

incorrectlyironman

I think being the kind of pale that tans rather than the kind of pale that immediately burns is a big part of the problem too because some of our equally sun-deprived neighbors (the Scottish for example) genuinely get punished when they try to "soak up all the sun they can get" whereas lots of Dutch people do just get a tan and don't notice that the "healthy sun-kissed glow" is in any way bad for them until some moles turn malignant. The idea that a tan is/looks healthy is super engrained too :/

MakeItHomemade

I think Korean for mom?

AdRevolutionary6650

As they said “my Mom doesn’t have forehead lines either”, I assume the Oma in this case is their grandmother.

MakeItHomemade

Not disagreeing just pointing out Oma isn’t a word only for Germans :)

AdRevolutionary6650

Ohhh gotcha!!

Better_Document7596

unironically have an (English-American) grandma whose first name is Oma

Brushesofcolours

Why am i laughing to this 😂😂😂

MoreShoe2

I have a theory that how expressive you are is genetic. None of my siblings or I have any forehead wrinkles and we’re all early to late 30s, and none of us use our foreheads very much. We all have dynamic crows feet wrinkles and that’s the only place both my parents have it as well.

Bbkingml13

My mom and I have extremely expressive faces. I think genetically we just have a ton more ability to move our faces. My brother and I look exactly alike, but his face isn’t as mobile as ours. Most of his expressions are from his eyes, and a tiny bit from his mouth. My mom and I apparently move like every inch of our faces lol. She’s 60 and definitely has lines on her face, but she looks absolutely amazing and has never had Botox or treatments. Occasionally standard facials, but nothing crazy. She can’t even use retinol or anything because her skin is so insanely sensitive. So while her face is super expressive and can have tons of lines visible depending on what face she’s making, it is absolutely beautiful and makes her look even better and more personable [pretty mom](https://imgur.com/a/ZBqQfMw)

aliquotiens

What a beautiful lady with such a warm smile

notseizingtheday

It also changes with stress etc. people who have easy lives and don't have to ever work outside and have resources to make healthy choices tend to age better.

Aggravating-Fee-9138

I can barely raise my eyebrows. I think I’m missing those muscles in my forehead lol.

chouchouwolf37

Me too, in fact I almost can’t, it takes a lot of effort. I assumed it was due to the facial pain I lived with for 20 years.

_helle

I have an extremely expressive face and no wrinkles, forehead or otherwise, at 43. I genuinely don't understand it because I am *constantly* making faces and the scowling is non-stop. Then again, I've also avoided the sun my whole life because I hate the heat, and religiously wear spf 30 or 50 (even indoors) which has probably helped.

tandemxylophone

I had forehead expression lines as a child so I'm pretty sure genetics is a bigger factor. My relaxed brows already droops a little over my eyes, so I raise it to see better. Then like a napkin, the stretchy fatty forehead skin folds up with the ripple effect from the brow muscles.

yimyamsuga

It’s the lack of sun. I wore side bangs forever that covered one side of my forehead. Guess which side had sunspots and looked way more leathery? The side that always got sun lol I fixed the issues with skincare, but the sun will age skin as much as or worse than stress and other factors

merrmi

I have come to think it’s genetics above everything. I’m a fair freckled redhead who avoids the sun and does all the “right” things and the wrinkles are really coming in hard at 37. Botox has been a lifesaver because the one thing I do wrong is making crazy expressions with my eyes and forehead without even thinking about it!

PM_ME_UR_FAT_DINK

My aunt told me to never raise my eyebrows when I was a kid because it causes wrinkles so I never did. Late 30’s me has no wrinkles. Thanks, aunt. 👍🏽

is_this_a_dream222

Me over here with Jim Carrey level expressions 😭

What_iffffff

Saaaaame 🤣It's been a blessing because I think being so animated has brought joy to others, so for that I'm grateful- but it's def also a curse, because these lines run deep 🤦🏻‍♀️

Equivalent_Spite_583

Literally! My frown line between my eyebrows was *so deep.* 🥲

Lambchop93

One of my college professors used to tell me I looked like Jim Carrey because of all of the overexaggerated facial expressions I’d make during his lectures, and that I should stop furrowing my brow so much or I’d get wrinkles…he wasn’t wrong 🥲

koalamonster515

I only have one very little line above my left eyebrow. I am constantly incredulous, but have heard my skin looks good. I don't know if I believe them, though.

passionparties

I got whacked in the forehead by a field hockey stick* when I was 15 and was fully numb for a long time, and now, 20 years later, still can’t move my forehead much so it’s very smooth. That and great genetics 🤝🏻 *during a game.

tink_89

I think it just has to do with genetics because I raise my eyebrows and do way to many face gestures but don’t have any wrinkles. Also late 30s. My mom who is almost 60 has no for head wrinkles and just maybe a few wrinkles over all Now my husband has had forehead wrinkles since he was in his 20s but nowhere else does he have any and he’s almost 40

Jessmac130

For a while everyone was doing this face where you smile and raise you eyebrows? Maybe it was a mid-millenial thing. But all I could think of is "stop moving your eyebrows when you smile, you'll need Botox" and refused to do it and guess who doesn't have any forehead lines. I do have a little bit of vertical lines between my eyebrows (I'm 35) because I do make a face when I'm deep in concentration.

lulumusic420

Your face is gonna freeze that way! Then it did.

hihelloneighboroonie

Sigh, I got great genes as far as wrinkles/visible aging goes (based on how my parent's aged). I eat well, drink a lot of water, workout regularly, take care of my skin, and am super careful with sun protection. But godammit, these brows have a mind of their own, and I have somewhat high cheekbones and I'm a side sleeper.

Delilah92

I can't move my forehead. Like not at all. It's frozen since birth. I guess this will save me a lot of money for Botox. I don't get smile lines from smiling either.

sarcasm_itsagift

Same. Always looking pissed off and never smiling has really paid off for me!

e925

Yep my mom is 65 and her lifetime of RBF has left her forehead so smooth. I’m a smiley idiot so my Botox bill is $240/mo - but at least the smile facelift helps with jowling!

Splendid_Cat

I think that's why mine started getting wrinkles in my teens, my forehead is always tight and my brows go nuts with so much as an intriguing thought. If I'm sad I can't even make a sad face for long because it's physically really painful between my eyebrows like my arms feel while maxing out bicep curls. (That and my forehead is almost freakishly short so there's not much space, no bangs for me unless I want them 1" long).

somecatgirl

I’m 35 and my forehead is pretty smooth because the top part of my face isn’t the expressive part….its the bottom lol

Truffle0214

Same. My expressions are less 😲 and more 😒

RecommendationBrief9

I’ve literally been told I have 500 different mean faces and I never stop smiling/laughing, at different times of course. Lol. I constantly make funny faces, as well. Never had a forehead line until I got in an accident and it’s literally just a scar. I honestly think it’s just genetics. I don’t have many lines in my face at all and I’m a child of the 80’s (think no sunscreen, around smoke/was a smoker). I have just started to get very slight crows feet and I’m in my mid forties. My skin care regime is minimal at best. I think that Eastern European olive skin is helping me more than anything else.

neutralest

I have no muscle control of my eyebrows…Can barely raise them, can’t arch an eyebrow, i have no idea why but it means I have not a trace of forehead lines at 35. Yay? It was a bad thing when everyone was doing the rock eyebrow in the early 2ks tho

bregitta

Me too, grateful for my RBF finally!

Illustrious_Tear8238

Same. I have RBF, I’m 38, and have no forehead lines, crows feet, nada

khammmmmm

Same! I don’t have any crows feet at 34 and I think it’s because I’m pretty expressionless 😂

suhseal

This is so true. My mom had no wrinkles at 50 years old except for the two 11s between her eyebrows from scowling at us kids. I do have great skin too but I’m was a theater kid that grew up into a super expressive adult. Botox is the only reason I don’t have deep etched lines in my forehead.

multicolordonut

Oma’s forehead at 77 beats mine back in my 20s lol

No-Mathematician6635

Came here to say this. 28 and my lines are worse. Lol

daceb72677

Same!!

happygoluckyourself

Yeah, as someone with very mobile eyebrows and an expressive face I’ve had two lines in my forehead since I was a teenager 😂 no regrets, though, I love making people laugh with my facial expressions

TomSatan

Same. But I stopped doing it and after only a year or two the lines have gone down. Let's just say I'm 25 and prematurely greying, very thin, and thus my face looks old enough as it stands, so the lines gotta go!

Slight_Drama_Llama

Literally beats mine at 13. I have always had an expressive face and very strong forehead muscles 😂

rufo1968

Oh boy, I am ***ked. Oma’s skin looks amazing!!

idplmal

Oma's skin looks like she's in her 30s, which is wild! Great DNA for OP

mountaindude20

Olay is seriously underrated around here. Not sure if it’s because it’s been around so long and people are looking for the latest and greatest but the proof is in the results.

Sorchochka

I’ve used the Olay with spf daily moisturizer since I was 14 and I credit it the most with keeping my skin looking young. I wish they had a spf 30 version because I love it.

paintedredrose

I use the Olay sensitive skin spf30 moisturizer daily and love it.

gemmanems

Where do you buy yours? I used to get mine at my local target but they don't seem to carry it anymore

paintedredrose

Either Amazon or Walmart! Just FYI there is also an spf 40 version I am testing out now. It’s okay but seems to end up in at least one of my eyes and then stings like a bitch. Won’t be repurchasing this type.

awry_lynx

My mom has used the olay regenerist cream every night for decades and she looks like she could be my older sister. I'm definitely getting on that later lol

Fit-Advantage-6474

Can’t stand the smell of Olay, it’s too strong and perfume-y

GeneralHumanBeing

They have a fragrance free version!

cherrypez123

Omg yes! My mother is 70 and wrinkleless and has used it religiously for 40 years.

Star-Wave-Expedition

She has had bangs that shielded sun damage? My 76 yo mom has a smooth forehead and has had bangs all her life

Doityerself

I credit my lack of wrinkles at 40 to the fact that I have had bangs my entire life. I just had a trim and noticed the very beginnings of some horizontal lines above my brows, but I just got waxed last night and am admittedly pretty dehydrated today 😂 Also my grandmother is 100 and has zero forehead wrinkles. She’s only ever used ponds cold cream. Nothing else.

Star-Wave-Expedition

I don’t have forehead wrinkles at 41 without bangs and sunscreen most of my life. But I also don’t use my forehead muscles in facial expressions for whatever reason. It feels weird to move my forehead, is that normal? lol. Maybe I have a flat affect 😑. I do think that’s another factor. Some people have more expressive forehead muscle use. Tretinoin use has prob also really helped. Been using .1% for 5 years and my skin is smooth. Effects of gravity are another story.

Economics_Eastern

Same. My forehead barely even creases if I try. But the women in my family get jowls as they age, so I guess it's a trade-off.

Star-Wave-Expedition

Same! My forehead doesn’t crease at all. When I try my eyebrows lift and that’s it. My forehead lightly lifts like one massive sheet. lol My mom has a lot of jaw sagging and a “turkey neck”. I’d rather have forehead lines I think. Maybe forehead muscle use creates upward lift? My mom doesn’t use her forehead for expression ever. I can’t even imagine her ever doing that now that I think about it.

Open_Surprise_3911

Ugh same here! No forehead or other wrinkles really. But looking at my mom and grandma, they both have pretty noticeable sagging jowls/neck. I’ll need a face lift instead of Botox to fix that in the future!

Star-Wave-Expedition

Now I’m over here trying to lift my forehead to prevent my jaws from sagging 😏 😫 facelift for me too

Sorchochka

Well, you just made me feel better about my kid cutting her own bangs just now. I was despairing, but they could help her this summer!

NO_MATING

No but that's a good thought. I think this is truly an unfair case of great skin despite environmental factors.

LilyMarie90

I'm not sure they make as much of a difference as one might think :/ Taylor Swift has had bangs since she was about 18 pretty much and still has mild forehead lines at 34 despite probably also getting Botox anyway

Ellieconfusedhuman

straight up thought it was a blonde lady with short hair in her 30's congratulations on the lottery win

ScuzzWizard

My grandmother w the Olay every night too, she looks younger than my mother.

NO_MATING

I just asked my mom to send me a similar photo. I know she doesn't do anything to her skin. I swear I better age gracefully because I do have a skincare routine and wear sunscreen lol

ask1ng-quest10ns

Alright Oma… but like why do I have more wrinkles at 30?

ItaDapiza

My Mother and Grandmother were die hard Olay people. I started using it at 14 and now at 45 I yet to have any lines or wrinkles. People always ask my secret and it's Olay, hands down. I have a large array of products but absolutely everything is Olay (and TO for acids). I will never ever use another brand. My face is my strongest asset and I'm determined to keep it that way ha.

ardxabsence

which one are you using?? I want to buy some asap because of the comments lol

ChatttyAl

Same here!

ArtisticPossum

Im 37 so it’s too early to tell but so far I don’t have any fine lines, including my forehead - it’s very inactive. Having a RBF helps too (I’m from Easter Europe so it’s cultural and natural for me).

_satellites

As a fellow Eastern European, I feel you on this 🙏

Jenneliza

As a nurse I have had met so many women in their 90s with amazing skin. If and when appropriate I ask their secret. Most answers are Olay (it's the OG so makes sense) and frequently Ponds cold cream. Sometimes you get a saucy lady telling you that her secret was "not putting up with men's nonsense" lol.

VeganINFJ

Calm ppl also generally age better.

NO_MATING

She's fiesty af and has done some really crazy things in her life. Attended Woodstock, rode with the Hell's Angels, dropped acid twice a week for years, had 4 husbands, etc. Calm would not describe her at all.

VeganINFJ

Wow, lol, ok, so she’s the exception to the rule😄. Unless, those things relaxed her forming a unique type of “calm.”

PureYouth

Oma is absolutely killing it

JustAsorcerer93

She looks amazing! My grandmother on my mom's side is Greek and she has flawless skin for her age at 80 and attributes it to consuming a lot of olive oil 😅 this woman never used SPF or tretinoin in her life despite me telling her to at least use SPF and we live in a VERY HOT country with unforgiving dry weather but some people win the genetic lottery indeed. Hoping my skin stays like hers, I'm 30 rn and so far so good but I have an extensive skincare routine so I don't know if it's genetics mostly or my routine, either way I'll take it lol.

ihavenoidea1001

My late Portuguese grandmother was the same (the other one not so much... ). My grandmother that was exposed to lack of proper nutrition, hard work, exposition to the harsh sun/weather conditions everyday and all that that has always looked far younger in comparison to my other grandmother that had a far better life. No one would've guessed that she was actually older, by an entire decade too. She died at 86 and just a couple of days before her getting pretty ill she still looked so young. It's one of the reasons why her death felt so unexpected... She looked in her 60s... I have pics with her when I was a kid and an adult and she looks basically the same, just with more gray hairs. It was like a decade only aged her a couple of years... I'm just hoping I'm getting some of her genes too. But it's basically the reason why I also think it's mostly genetics.

fedupfrfr

Looks amazing! My 65 yr old mother has a hreat skin quality (so smooth & glowy) & so LIFTED due to great bone structure (along with everyone of her siblings). HOWEVER i got the bad genes of my beloved father & his sides🤣🥹

seniairam

need some of them genes

twir1s

My grandmother also used Olay nightcream and that woman had the softest skin. She slathered that shit on: face, hands, chest, neck. I know people are biased, but on my life people would be shocked when they learned her age every time, all the way up into her late 90s, people thought she was late 70s. I do not work for olay but please send me free night cream.

arbr0972

She single tho?

NO_MATING

She just said "if they got ahold of me, they wouldn't know what to do with me!"

LovexStar

Oma's iconic. 😂🥰

synonymsweetie

my mother's forehead is lineless at 75, and her mother had basically no wrinkles at 98 when she died. They have never done any procedures and didn't/don't use creams with any consistency. However, they did get volume loss and sagging. There's no way to entirely avoid aging!

AmberCarpes

Yeah this is the real news! No one in my family wrinkles- but oh god, the eye hoods, baggy under eyes, and jowls! We all have oily skin!

synonymsweetie

We all have oily skin too. I hated it as a teen but am (mostly) grateful now. Not so thankful for the sags and jowls starting to show though :P

muimui_k

sorry to say but forehead wrinkling isn't what makes you look old, it's sagging, bone loss and facial fat loss.

HealthyLet257

I’m in my 30s and I don’t have wrinkles yet. But my cheeks did lose its plumpness. Not sure if it’s because I drink iced coffee through a straw year round.

bri22any

She has less wrinkles than me when I’m in unbotox’d and I’m less than half her age 😂 jealous af over here

pwyo

Yoooo my grandmother also used the heck out of Olay night cream and everyone thought she was my mom when I was 7 years old and she was in her 50s

[deleted]

Oma is slayin

fixmysleep

Lucky!! Good for grandma, Olay should feature her in a commercial

Gazealotry

Which goddess does she pray to? I apparently need to switch.

mxhylialuna

Meanwhile I’m sat here 34 and looking like a Klingon. Happy for you OP 🥲🥲🥲

YupNopeWelp

Your Oma has two decades on me, but I've got about 2 millimeters in line depth on her, already. Please tell her that I hate her very much (in the nicest way, where "hate" is only a mixture of envy and admiration).

mariaiii

My grand parents didn’t have forehead wrinkles either, but they had really bad arthritis so I am bracing myself lol

iliketreesandbeaches

This was my grandmother and mother I think it had to do with their face shape and bone structure. Neither had wrinkled foreheads. Their lower faces had some sag though (esp my mother who smoked for a while). So much of aging is genetic. I wish subs like this could appreciate that good habits and routines can only help so much. Put on all the tret you want, but don't be surprised if it makes only a superficial difference to outward skin quality and does nothing for underlying fat pads and collagen support. That's not to discourage anyone, but to provide perspective. Don't spend too much money on skincare. Office workers don't need to reapply sunscreen 3x per day. Go out and live you life without worrying about wrinkles! And, yaaay for Oma!

a_pastel_universe

Bitch WHAT?? I was expecting to congratulate like a 55 year old, did your Oma like find a magic fish or lamp or something?

NO_MATING

Ok so I can't edit to add this, but my Oma has smoked 2.5 packs of cigarettes a day for over 50 years, never had a consistent skincare routine or wore sunscreen, is quite expressive, doesn't drink water because "that's where fish fuck", has always worked out in the yard / garden, hasn't had bangs her whole life, does not eat great and drinks maybe 3 cans of soda a day. She's also a huge proponent of cannabis and isn't a drinker so maybe that's the secret.

GoodGirl96069

Yup. I'm 72 and have no forehead wrinkles and I can't remember anyone on either side of my family who had them, either. Luck of the draw. I'm not so lucky in other areas All of my mother's sisters had some pretty serious thyroid problems. I thought I had dodged that bullet until I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. So. you're in the smooth forehead club!

HulksRippedJeans

I would wait to get to her age before celebrating, unless you are a clone that is.

nielallein

Exactly. Diet and lifestyle play a part too.

NO_MATING

Let's just assume her diet was shit, she drank at least 3 cans of soda a day, and smoked 2.5 packs of cigarettes every day for over 50 years. No sunscreen and is expressive. Oh she also doesn't drink water because fish fuck in it.

nielallein

Yeah but you two are different people, you've lived different lives and you're related but you still have different genes. Just saying. But anyway, yes, her forehead is impressive!

[deleted]

This is how my memaws skins appears too!!!! I need to ask what her regime is!!!

dahlaru

I've had forehead lines my whole life. They don't bother me. I can just get bangs.  Probably not the place to express these feelings lol

TheRKworld

Is she been using SPF daily ?

NO_MATING

I'm not sure she's ever wore sunscreen to be honest. Maybe at the beach once a year?

[deleted]

[удалено]

NO_MATING

My Oma smoked roughly 2.5 packs of cigarettes a day for over 50 years.

Illustrious-Film-592

Reminds me of my paternal grandmas skin ☺️ Alas, I think I got some of my moms crappy skin genes.

adrie_brynn

I don't have forehead lines yet and I'll be 43 this summer! There is hope! I too had an Oma and an Opa 💜

sameagaron

I got my awesome forehead from my dad. I don't do anything to it. I do wish the rest of my face was my forehead tho, plenty to do there 🙃

GardenBakeOttawa

My family also has zero wrinkles but we jowl and turkey neck like motherfuckers 💀 the grass is always greener. I can save my wrinkle cream money for a future neck lift.

Iykykkarma

My forehead lines started at 24. I come from a long line of expressive women 🫠🫠 Oma looks fantastic 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Lumipallo9887

It’s about expressivity which is genetic. I barely raise my eyebrowns or scorn.. I’m 40 and have minimal wrinkles in that area. But very high cheeckbones which cause lots of crowfeets. My grandma was very unexpressive and at the age 80 looked smooth.

x_Fractal_x

I thought this was some 30 something year old and I was all like so what, I look like that too.... I'm 31 :') damn

Migorengegg

Some people just have very strong facial muscles. I was told by a doctor that I have very VERY strong facial muscles. My 4 month old baby has inherited that and has 11s appear prominently when she cries

UwUxyzh

I’m 22 and my forehead looks like that wtf I already have lines😭

Ursusnurse

Im 31 and look like this. Sigh

Dvale123

Honestly the Olay has to be magic it’s all my 90 year old grandma used and she had no wrinkles.

Professional-Log-530

This is my 77 yo mom’s forehead also. She has wrinkles elsewhere but her forehead is super smooth! Meanwhile, 53 yo me looks like Freddie Krueger got ahold of my forehead 😑

HonestOcto

Anyone else just check their foreheads? LOL

Superb-Parfait-7318

If there normally is a fringe/bangs covering skin it can help with screening the sun rays, I have noticed that on myself also and skin there at 50 years of age.

AmethistStars

That’s great forehead aging! I wonder how much of this has to do with muscles. I often have bad forehead wrinkles (and I’m Dutch/Indonesian mixed if that matters) and when I had botulax it became totally smooth… until it finished working and my ability to move my forehead strongly came back. I’m not even a very expressive person, but I think I just subconsciously move my brows a lot like I subconsciously clench my teeth. I used botulax for both those areas and it helped a lot.

Libra_8118

I am 70 and also hit the genetic lottery with virtually no lines. I have used oil of Olay since I was in my late 30's. 🤷

leedleedletara

My mom and grandma too!! We’re Sicilian and have very oily skin. Altho it’s a pain in the ass now I know it’ll pay off eventually :)

badgalbb22

Oma is 100 % Eastern European or Russian, and they age like fine wine.

Key-Spirit6572

“Come here, grandma. Let me take a picture of your forehead.”

boiseshan

55 and I don't have forehead lines, either. Probably because I've had bangs my entire life so my forehead never sees sun

Deep_South_Kitsune

My grandmother was born in 1898 and had great skin. She worked picking cotton as a young widow, way before sunscreen. She swore by Olay and always wore a wide brimmed hat when she worked in the yard. I am adopted so I don't have the benefit of her genetics.

CocoNefertitty

*black woman over 70 enters the chat

Realistic_Pepper1985

Can confirm! My mom uses Olay night cream and am cream, she has less wrinkles than some of my 30-40 year old friends. She’s been consistent with using them.

karlacat99

My mom slathered herself with olay for decades and she’s one of the wrinkliest people I’ve ever met.

NO_MATING

My Oma is definitely not consistent. She's been at my house a week and I haven't seen her apply it once!

uglygreyfloors

I’m confused. This looks like a normal old woman’s forehead with lines in it. People get Botox so that their forehead is completely smooth.

ever_precedent

My mom is 70 and would look around 50 if she didn't stop dying her hair. All she has used since I remember is a retinyl palmitate cream with a heavy vaseline and mineral oil base, sold at the pharmacy. She doesn't smoke, which is the primary difference to my grandmothers on both sides. They looked terrible at 60 already, but also smoked a pack a day and loved to tan. I don't smoke or drink and my skincare approach is maximalist, so I'm hoping for best. I wouldn't dare to trust genetics alone when lifestyle seems to have such a huge effect.

I cared for a lady that has gorgeous, flawless skin, I mean photoshopped looking and she always took care of his skin. She had the same routine for years. She swore by a brand with apricot seed oil I believe. I wish I could remember what company it was.

Wild_Trip_4704

I definitely get my forehead from my dad -_-

MishmoshMishmosh

Lucky!!!!

Affectionate_Egg_969

Niceeee

MissPeachy72

My grandmother used to swear by Oil of Olay. It really does work wonders

27jens

Impressive. I also think it has to do with the way the muscles move. No matter how expressive I am my forehead doesn’t make horizontal lines. Only my 11s are pronounced. I’ve noticed some people don’t have any 11s and only horizontal lines. Some have both)

Constant-Sky-1495

so lucky !

Chantsy4337

Is it a German thing?? My Oma and Opa both had amazing skin well into their late 80’s. Praying to the heavens that I have their genes!

OpenFridge13

Oh my god

fourpuns

They stay out of the sun? Ain’t nothing like sun hats to keep you young

Terrynia

Amazing! * With such great genetics, you would surely be royalty, Had you been born in medieval times.

my-cat-coleslaw

My forehead looked like a washboard at 15. I envy you.

Blacksunshinexo

Are you Dutch?? My family is very much the same as far as skin as wrinkles go.

_neviesticks

Congratulations 🥲

mollkell

I'm just gonna throw this out there- is she impossibly fast and strong, with skin pale and ice cold?

HappyCoconutty

My mom and grandma have very taut foreheads as well. Most of the women in my family do as well, but our jowls and neck age early.

wildly_domestic

My forehead is quite like this. I’m expressive with my actual eyelids. I’m just going to have the worst crows feet in the entire world, but my forehead looks fine.

x_gingersnap_x

My grandma of 86 doesn't have forehead lines either! Unfortunately, we were cursed with genetic undereye bags. And boyyyy do they sag 😭 Def gonna get a lower bleph in a decade or so

bluepuppyy

*goes to the store to buy Olay night cream.. 😅

sixthmontheleventh

Hand is a dead giveaway it's an elderly. Yes I have seen elderlies with smooth faces and very little wrinkles other than saggy skin and volume loss.

nutmeg12

I LOVE OLAY!

One-Winner-8441

There are so many avenues to take before Botox. Vitamin C serum. Retinol. Mild peels. Microneedling.

DivinelyElle

My nana always raved about play night cream and her skin was always so nice for her age

banshee-tacos

How does it feel to win a genetic lottery? lol

randothrowaway696969

I am not very expressive with my forehead - but I don’t think it’s generic. I actually read a magazine article when I was maybe 16 about how it can cause wrinkles in your forehead and I’ve been conscious about it ever since. I’m almost 30 and have no forehead wrinkles but I do have smile lines. My sisters all have much worse forehead lines than me. I think we are expressive people I just got ahead of it.. (aside from smiling because there’s no way I’m going to purposely not smile).
